I've been to this store a few times over many years. The customer service has taken a nosedive. Before Labor Day I went to the washer/dryers and this guy promised to call me about getting someone to come to my house to measure the area. He never called. As a matter of fact, he was pushy about getting rid of me in the--as if he had something better to do rather than sell washers and dryers. So he looked up my account and said he'd call. I ended up going to another Best Buy in Culver City. That sales person was phenomenal! Glad I did that. I ended up buying a set from him. Other occasions, including today, I have gone in to buy electronics... like adapters and accessories. Most sales people walk right past me and even look me in the eye but don't greet me or ask if I need any assistance. If I stop someone in the store to ask for assistance they seemed rather disturbed. Most cashiers are decent so that's why they get two stars. I mostly buy things that I need right away from Best Buy or else it's Amazon. Best Buy-- better up the customer service because people take notice. You could be the next store to close. Amazon has pretty amazing customer service. read more

I literally got stuck at this store for 5 hours The reason is because if u purchase anything online, and u want to cancel or change, they will just tell u to call customer service.... So DO NOT VISIT THEIR STORE.... Because it will be a waste of time I purchased an iPhone online, and wanted to not trade my phone in. The process : they make u purchase the phone for the full price first, then, they will provide a rebate back to u.... Like others, I wish I could give this Best Buy negative stars. Horrible customer experience started with me going to the Geek Squad for help with my emails. The woman spent 40 minutes poking around and couldn't fix the problem. She agreed I should just get a new computer. I was told you need to get on the list to get a salesperson, and one of the employees told me I was on the list. But no one came to help me. After 30 minutes, someone finally asked if he could help me (unrelated to the list). He was ok, but when I went to pay they told me they would not set up the computer for free for me (like they did for my last one) but that I had to buy their protection for $179.00 (before tax). They also told me I should buy a new Microsoft suite for $80 when I already had a Microsoft account. So I bought both, and went back to the Geek Squad for help. I was told to come back in 2 hours. I did, the woman scanned my computer and said "Ok I need to take this and your old laptop to transfer the files and it'll be ready in 7-10 days." I was shocked and don't understand how Best Buy would think this type of service is acceptable. Who can be without a computer for 10 days?! She told me that they are just busy now so that's all they can do. I took it home and found a great guy in Pasadena that came to my house to set my computer up and transfer the files in just over an hour. He was cheaper than the $179 "protection" plan. Then I went back to the store to return the Microsoft suite and cancel the protection plan. I was told they can't help and I had to call customer service. The only part of this transaction that was good was the customer service lady, who was helpful and refunded me. HOWEVER I learned that we already had the "protection" service at $200 a year, and have been paying that year after year for no reason. And WORSE - they charged me for the protection plan again for my computer when I already had the plan! Had I not caught this we would have been paying Best Buy $400 a year for nothing. read more

this review is a huge shoutout to John who helped me get my dash camera installed for my camry! i had bought myself a dash camera and had to reschedule my appointment three times. when i arrived to my appointment this morning, John immediately helped me out! he realized that the dash camera i had bought for my camry was not the correct one and helped me buy the correct dash camera. John went out of his way to make sure i had gotten my dash camera installed today, i absolutely appreciate that! the dash camera installation did not take that long at all. it felt like it took 45 mins to get it done. i really appreciated that! Installation job looks great and i love that i can check my camera footage through the app. it's easy to download videos onto my phone. i appreciate John teaching me how to use the app and how my new dash camera works! I had a really good experience during the Presidents' Day sale in multiple departments. Specifically, Nick in the laptops area was so knowledgeable and patient with me and my friend. He explained all the features of different laptops we were considering. Was familiar with the different software we needed to run and what was affordable yet met our needs. He was young and friendly and very very helpful. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name in the appliance section, he helped me with all the specs on a washer and dryer combo. Best Buy is usually my go to for electronics but I made an appointment because of a " cracked screen" . Literally wrote out a statement as to why I needed an appointment. Geek squad even sent me a list of requirements that I should have completed before I arrive to " save time ". Yet upon arriving at my appointment time I was told they " DON'T FIX SCREENS". They also could not recommend any repair shops for me.They said that if I had a receipt and coverage they could send it off to Dell. This review is for Jonathan Grayson. My partner and I stopped by several times in May to check out laundry machines and refrigerator. We have so many questions and measurement is very important. Jonathan assisted us with questions and even told us about the sales happening the end of May. He was so friendly, accommodating and gave us so many advice on what to purchase for installation. Best Buy was able to deliver for free and if there are any additional charges, Jonathan gave us a break down of pricing so nothing was a surprise charge. We came back again at the end of May to make all three big purchases. He told us about rebate applications for laundry machines which I applied for and received rebate recently. Last week we stopped by again to purchase other items and he was there so we asked him to help us again. My partner and I really appreciate Jonathan and we highly recommend him if you need help. He is honest, hard working and trustworthy. Now I'm living comfortably at home with all of these reliable appliances. His name is Nick and helped me in desktop/ computer section. I had tons and tons of questions and Nick was more than welcoming & informative. And although I left without purchasing anything he did give me some insight to finding the right product for my mother. He went to check what they had left in stock along with the refurbished items upon my request. The one thing I enjoyed most about my experience here was that I wasn't pressured to buying something. I hate when a sales associate pushes a product on me or pushes me to get a better version on it. Nick was the opposite, in a good way. Came here to get a new Laptop. I have been looking for an asus laptop however was not sure which one I wanted. I came in on a Thursday evening to look for a laptop and came across a guy named Nick in the Laptop department. He really was working hard to see which one I would like to get. He definitely recommend me getting the Asus M16. Asus M16- QHD Laptop with 165 Hz. I used it for a couple days now and I really like it. The only issue I had was my headphone would not connect which I do not know why. Played Valorant and it was great just like how Nick was recommending it to me. Overall I appreciated how Nick in the Laptop Department really worked with my. I think we spoke for a long 10 minutes because I was extremely hesitant, however he assisted me with my anxiety. I might not like best buy that much but whenever they need to come in clutch for me, they normally come in clutch. Would recommend going up to Nick for laptop help. We purchased a new refrigerator from the Best Buy on Foothill in Pasadena. They sent two people to take out our old refrigerator and install a new one. In the process of removing the existing refrigerator the Best Buy installers broke the water value behind the refrigerator and flooded the kitchen. They then called their.manager at Best Buy who told them to stop the installation put our new refrigerator back on the truck and leave until we could get a plumber to come to our house and repair the valve they broke. We have a plumber on the way but our kitchen is still flooded, the installers have left and we are still working to get Best Buy to come back and install the new appliance. A month later I reconsidered, bought it again and paid for Geek Squad. They completely solved all my problems. Can't say enough about Jose (JC) Correa: so smart, patient, responsive to little things that came up even weeks after. If any of you follow the financial news you know that Best Buy is struggling. From what I've read, they've fallen several spots on the Fortune 500 list, their revenue fell at least 10% and their profit fell at least 40%. Corrie Barry is the CEO of Best Buy. Corrie, I think I've discovered part of the problem! Today I went to the BB on Foothill in Pasadena, CA. I was greeted by the greeter lady and showed her my very old samsung tablet that won't charge. I explained to her that I thought the problem was the cable and asked her if they carried the cable I needed. She told me due to the age of the tablet the only place they might have the cable size I needed was in their gaming section. I went over to the gaming section, couldn't get any help. I decided I'd just buy a new tablet, so I went over to where the tablets are displayed. I COULDN'T GET ANYONE TO HELP ME, again! On my way out the door I said to the greeter lady, I couldn't get anyone to help me! Her reply is prob why BB is tanking, all she said was "I'm sorry". The correct response to help bolster the company's revenue & profit would have been: "I'm so sorry, let me find somebody for you". I did solve my problem by driving to the Apple store in Old Town and the sales associates there were happy to help me and take my nearly $2K. So, if you have a lot of time to wander around the BB cavernous store and be ignored, by all means, BB is the store for you! I tried to exchange a samsung galaxy watch 7 I got on a Black Friday deal with the employee Rocco. Without telling me he processed the exchange as a return and then billed me for the full amounthof the watch. I told them that was not the amount I originally paid. I asked for a manager. The manager Yahir came out and said they already processed the return so there was nothing I could do. Feeling frustrated I went outside to call customer service and waited on the phone for 1 and 45 minutes and then the girl hung up on me. I went back in and asked for another manager and Simon came out. I asked him what I could do and he said I could have canceled the return within 10 minutes of processing it but there was nothing i could do now. Shane was such a great help! We came to Best Buy determined to buy a Samsung TV we found online. We just wanted to see a display in store to compare the size. Walked to the TV section and at first we couldn't find any employees to ask for help. Shane approached us with a very personable attitude and asked if we needed help. We asked him to show us a 55" and 60" and 65" to compare. We asked him about the brand we found and he gave us his opinion about choosing an LG brand for the price point we were looking at. Then he showed us the difference of picture quality, a side by side comparison and we made our decision right there and there. I think it was a 15 minute transaction or less. This Best Buy has implemented a QR code system for you to sign in to receive assistance. I thought it sounded great, since usually I am ignored when I shop here. A young man was assigned to help me. When I explained that I wanted less expensive items because I would use on a limited basis. He points and says they're over there. I was like where exactly? Then he shows me an item that he claims is the least expensive at over $200. I remember buying it new for around $75 a few years ago, and couldn't believe that was the cheapest one. Then I was shown items for children as if, In any event, I decided to look online and saw the less expensive items that would meet my needs. My phone needed a charge, so I asked the cashier to help me with an online order, since I was told the less expensive items weren't in stock. She said the item I was trying to order online was actually in the store, and a few were available. Thank goodness someone at the store was capable of looking for an item a customer requests. Purchased a new dash camera and used Best Buys auto installation department. The rate to do the hardwire install was so inexpensive and the time that it took was quick! I had to write rave review for the service technician, Jose. This guy was amazing. The options he gave really made the difference in how perfect this install was. Jose was present. He was patient and very professional. I immediately went into the store and spoke to a manager (Brianna) and told her how impressed I was with my initial meeting with Jose. So I've been a customer of Best Buy for about 15+ years now. It seems like over the years, months, and days, they keep hiring incompetent and slow workers at this location and I don't mean that in a negative way towards the people that actually work there, I just mean they are not qualified to work in a setting like that or they just choose to be slow because they aren't being trained properly. It should not take 2 hours for a phone case to be ready for pick up. It should not take 6 hours for a PS5 controller to be ready for pick up. I can go on and on. I guess the days of good prices and high prices = great service are over and now it's just horrible service even if buying thousands and thousands of dollars worth of products from this location. Getting out of this plaza is annoying off of Foothill but the side entrances let you go left. Service is helpful. Store pick up is located on the left side next to the registers. Big store.
