Called Best Buy shutters because I wanted a company located in Las Vegas that manufacturers shutters. I did not want my shutters purchased or built outside of the state of Nevada. I called Best buy shutters to make an appointment for an in-home estimate. I was treated with courtesy understanding being this is the first time I've ever done this in my life. They had great communication. Gary showed up the day of the appointment to give us an in-home estimate. Gary was early, was super nice, and brought several samples to view. Soon as I spoke to Gary while he was gathering his samples, I knew I had called the right place. Gary was very knowledgeable and professional courteous. My wife and I explained to Gary what we were looking for, he went right to work measuring all the windows so he would have all the measurements. Gray was a true professional, he was done in a very short time. My wife and I were possibly thinking of doing maybe downstairs first, and upstairs later. Gary Gave us a price very quickly straight to the point for the complete house. The price my wife and I received from Gary was so amazing, it was half of what we were quoted prior. Also I felt like the price was a true fair price. I told Gary because he was so nice professional courteous and gave us a great price, I told Gary let's do the whole complete House 25 windows, Two sliding glass doors, and one French door. The estimate on the completion time was right on time. We got to go see where the shutters were built, really cool place nice professional quality people. It was one of the best experiences, which is exactly what I wanted it to be. My wife and I were so happy. When they called to let us know our shutters were completed. We made a date to have them installed. Great communication, Day of Installation they showed up unloaded, very carefully, professionally absolutely no damage to anything through the complete installation. The time that it took them to do the complete house absolutely was amazing. Again from start to finish, so happy, so impressed, so professional, so courteous, absolutely a Great company, Great installers, every company in Las Vegas should be like this. I am absolutely in love with my shutters! I decided to go with Best Buy Shutters for a few different reasons. For one, I thoroughly enjoyed my sales associate. Her name is Nicole and I highly recommend asking for her when you schedule your appointment & here is why: she was on time, she cared about my personal requests that I had with the shutters, she took her time when measuring my windows, she explained everything in great detail, she was unbelievably knowledgeable, she was very kind & personable, & she gave me a fantastic price. She had told me that she was the owner's daughter, and it certainly showed. She did a fabulous job with representing her father's company. Another couple of reasons why I went with Best Buy Shutters was because of their product, factory, & timeframe of completion. When Nicole was out at my house, she brought a few samples with her and I really fell in love with the product compared to what other companies had shown me. I could tell it was a high quality product. I also enjoyed the fact that Best Buy Shutters manufactures everything here in Las Vegas. That goes along with their quick timeframe. Nicole told me that I could get my shutters in 2 weeks and boy did they deliver on their promise! My shutters were installed within a week & a half! I was so impressed! The installers, Casey and Justin, installed my shutters in about 3 1/2 hours and once they were done, they cleaned up after themselves and even offered to dispose of my previous window coverings! That brings me to now: my shutters are installed and look fabulous! From start to finish, this entire process has been smooth and quite simple. The sale went flawlessly, the communication has been on point (as Lynne kept me updated on my order) the install was perfect, and overall I am more than satisfied with my experience with Best Buy Shutters. I'm currently at Best Buy Shutters and I had to drive down here since I live close by to thank the ladies in the office as well as the installers. I just had my shutters installed today and both my wife and I love them. They make our home look so much more beautiful than what it was before. Now that it's getting hotter these shutters couldn't have been installed at a better time. My wife and I decided to do all of the windows in our home with all shutters and we are so glad we did because our home is so much cooler on the inside. We are so amazed at how much light the poly shutters block and we love how smooth the texture is. Casey was my installer and he did a fabulous job. He was willing to go above and beyond in order to get the install completed and I love that he took his time. He also did a final walk through with me at the end to ensure I was satisfied and I really liked that because I could tell he genuinely cared about how my shutters looked. I also want to mention the customer service. Both ladies in the office, I believe their names are Nicole and Lynne, were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the product. When I came in with my wife, they were very personable with us and extremely helpful when it came to answering questions and showing us the shutter. Both ladies kept me updated regarding the status of my shutters and I loved that. The shutters took about 3 weeks, that includes the time they came out to give me my quote up till the install so I'd say it was definitely a quick turnaround time. I just had my shutters installed with Best Buy shutters and they look absolutely incredible. First of all, I greatly appreciate Best Buy shutters being able to accommodate my schedule. I had informed Best Buy shutters that I was only available on Sundays for an install and I was told by the lady in the office that they normally do not work nor install on Sundays. They made one of their installers aware of my request to be installed on a Sunday and the installer was more than happy to meet my request. I don't see that happening with any other company here in Las Vegas, as I've used other home improvement companies in the past that haven't been able to accommodate my busy work schedule. My initial interaction with this company was when the sales associate came out to my house to measure my windows. I had a young lady by the name of Nicole and she was fantastic. Not only did she arrive right on time for our scheduled appointment, she came prepared with various samples to show me. She really took her time at my home and made sure to answer each and every question that I had. I found that she was also incredibly friendly and personable. She had told me that she was the owner's daughter and it certainly showed with how knowledgeable she was on everything pertaining to this company. I loved that this was a family owned business, as my husband and I run our own business as well. Lynne in the office was a pleasure to work with as well. She made sure to keep me updated on the status of my order and stayed in constant communication with both my husband and I. Best Buy Shutters is a great a business as you could hope to find! Our first dealings with them took place about 20 years ago when they installed shutters in our first home in Henderson. The Henderson home was a corner location and the sun exposure is extreme. The shutters were like new when we sold the home even after the extreme conditions they were subjected to. We moved to our new home 5 years ago and once again, we used their services in our new home location. As before, the service and product was perfect! I accidentally broke a small part of one of my shutters and called the company to see if it could be repaired. Even though it was 4 years out of warranty, they said to bring it by the store/factory to check it out. We went to the store/factory the following day and were greeted by a really pleasant office staff. A technician took our shutter to the back for repair and soon the owner of the company came out to speak with us. We were very surprised that he had recognized us from our previous dealings with him many years ago at our Henderson home. While we waited and chatted for a bit, he asked if we would like to see the factory section of the business. We said we would, and my goodness, the factory side is huge! The technicians were all busy, and the care given to each product being manufactured was perfection. We could not be happier with how Best Buy Shutters handled our order from beginning to installation. Marcel was a very pleasant person to deal with and took exact measurements the first time. He was very patient while we decided what size slats and frame we wanted. After we decided he calmly (thank you Marcel) told us that we could expect delivery in about 4 weeks. I called Lyn at their office in about 3 1/2 weeks to see if our shutters were ready and she said she would check and call me back. In about 20 minutes Lyn returned my call and said they would be installed the following Thursday. Their installers, Casey and Jose arrived on time, were very courteous and went right to work installing our new shutters. When they were done they asked us if we had any questions. We checked all the shutters and any items that we questioned they took care of, or explained to us the reason it was that way, which then made sense. What we really appreciated was that they did not rush us. They put the old curtains and rods in a neat pile for us, double checked all the shutters again, cleaned up and wished us a good day. We could not have asked for a smoother operation. We would definitely recommend Best Buy Shutters to anyone who is thinking of getting plantation shutters for their home of office. Best Buy Shutters has provided me with phenomenal service from beginning to end. I first came into their showroom, and I have to say, I was very impressed. Their showroom is quite large with lots of products on display. I was also given a tour of their manufacturing plant and it was very interesting to see the process of how the shutters were made from start to finish. I really loved that the shutters were made locally versus being made in China. I decided to schedule an appointment for an estimate. They scheduled me for the following day and the staff member that was out at my home was wonderful to work with. I also appreciated that she wasn't pushy or forceful like a few of the other shutter companies have been. I gave her a deposit of half of what the job costed and was told my order would take roughly 4 weeks to complete. About 3 weeks later I received a call from the woman in the office to schedule my install. Once it came time for my install, it took about 3 hours for them to complete my install. This company is fabulous! I placed an order with this company and the approximate wait time that they gave me was 3-4 weeks. I'm pleasantly surprised because my shutters were installed within 2 1/2 weeks! From the time I placed my order to the install, things ran very smoothly. Their customer service is impeccable. Both Lynn and Nichole kept in constant communication with me regarding my order, which made me feel very comfortable and glad that I chose this company. I really love the way my shutters look! The product doesn't look cheap at all and they are super easy to clean. I am so glad I didn't go with a wood shutters because I did not want to encounter any fading issues and with my poly shutters I don't have to worry about that. I also love the fact that they manufacture it right here in Nevada instead of having to outsource the shutters like other companies do. Nicole was my sales associate and besides the product, she's one of the main reasons why I selected BBS. She was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and she really took the time to understand my needs as a customer. I read all these reviews after getting the quote and putting half down for the shutters, I must say I was worried about the job getting done and the quality of it. I am giving them 4 stars because the sales guy I guessed missed a window and so the installers say they have to come back to install one. If they didn't miss the 1 window I would be giving them 5 stars because the process has been great. The sales guy gave a good approximation of when the shutters would be ready. The installers did a great job, no nails or bolts like some of the other people are saying. They cleaned up after themselves. The shutters look absolutely fantastic. We went with the poly shutters because the wont spoil from the sun and match the white window frames. Great job. I would highly recommend. The Best investment we decided to put in our home. My wife and I like the shutters very much. The white color of the shutters perfectly matched our white doors and moldings. They stand up against the light grey color of our walls. From the start, Marcel was nice and easy to deal with. His estimate of 4-5 weeks waiting for installation was accurate, exactly one month from the date he came for estimate and contract. The time frame of 11:00 am to 1:00 pm given by Lynn for the installation was right on schedule. The installers Casey and Justin were courteous, fast workers and helpful. We received several offers from other blinds and shutters companies but Best Buy Shutters was quick to send the first one, so we did not look at any other offer anymore (as I have told Marcel) and we did the right decision. Best Buy Shutters in Las Vegas is terrible to do business with. After they took my FULL PAYMENT they never finished the job they started. Extremely poor customer service. Lynn the office manager just made excuses for the delay month after month, and Gary the owner wouldn't even return my phone calls or meet me at their showroom to resolve the problem. HEY!! He's got my money, why should he care, right???!!! Finally, after small claims court and disputing the charge with my credit card company, I got a refund and had another shutter company finish the job. Best Buy Shutters is absolutely terrible. They get one star from me because there is no option to give ZERO!! Also be aware the same owner has now opened Best Buy Flooring.
