Upon inspection, he discovered the broken components and explained in detail what would need to be replaced. Let me preface this review to state/Never, Never, never agree to pay cash for a reduction in price. As this vendor offered $40.00 off for a cash payment. June 3, 2023 Day & Night Blinds gave me an estimate for a roller shade and shutters for my Patio Door. $480.00 for roller shade $1075.00 for shutter I really wanted a shutter but was persuaded the pluses to the roller shade. As seen on the bill Roller Shade and Fabric Covered Curved Valance. Now the install ion. As you can see from the photos the shade was put up not centered. It was not the room darkening I selected and it did not have fabric on the valance. Approximately one hour later I open the patio door only to have the valance fall off on to my arm injuring me. As the owner was about to leave with stool and tools in hand, I inquired about the WHITE PLASTIC VALANCE. He stated he did not notice but would order correct valance and come back to center shade. After I expressed my displeasure as to the mistakes made, he stated he would give me a $200.00 discount on the shutter. The price now would be $1275.00 Shutter $480.00 for the shade -$200.00 credit for the shade The shutter would now be $1555.00 Quite the math skills. He then advised me to try to sell the shade to a neighbor or someone in the community. At the age of 73 I am not willing to go door to door selling a shade? REALLY! He arrived July 13, 2023 with the correct valance. He proceeded to correct the installation for the shade crooked once again. He has never once measured the install just eyeballed it. Guess he forgot his measuring tape once again. As you can see form the last photo the holes he drilled are not centered and the far right one was put in at an angle. That shade would never have hung straight. It is an issue because he was saying things that were absurd throughout the 3 visits This is an issue when a vendor treats you like you are stupid. I am 73 but not stupid yet sir! read more

I reached out to get a quote for blinds/shades & the response was swift. I worked with Chuck & he came out to give me an estimate on my vision. He gave me some alternative choices in which actually worked out better than what I wanted initially by him giving me xtra options. We got great black-out blinds for our bedroom and great light diffusing honeycomb slide up/down shades on the other windows. Now that we've moved into a bigger home, we called Chuck again (he owns the company and installs all product!) We couldn't be more satisfied! He met us at our house (which wasn't even finished being built), took all measurements, had great suggestions and plenty of choices! Chuck also provides the most professional customer service. He adds just a little more to his measurements to give the best fit. Everything was perfectly cut, leveled, centered, and finished - and he does all the installing himself! We had a variety of sizes from VERY large to tiny bathroom. We had VERY large black out blinds in our bedroom and on the glass door leading to the back patio. We even had slide down scrims on our massive sliding doors. I've included some pics. I fully recommend Chuck and Day & Night Blinds to everyone. He works quickly, professionally, and, oh yeah, excellent price. Lowes quoted me $90 for install (not including the blinds). Chuck quoted me about $100 per window which was the blinds with wooden valance (see pic) and installation! The samples he brought were of nice quality and impressive. Totally like what I saw at Lowes. Chuck came over as scheduled 2wks later on the appt day/time. He got setup and finished my 14 windows before I knew it! I was putting up a curtain rod for the 6ft patio slider, I asked him for help on it and he didn't even hesitate to lend a hand.
