This has been an okay, yet a little disappointing experience with positive resolve in the end. Having seen the other reviews on this company, I had higher expectations that things would be customer focused and efficient. I called on a Friday night close to closing time to see if I could schedule with them to get an estimate on some window solar screens. Ben wound up calling me back to let me know he can come by on Monday morning to get me an estimate. He came on time at 9am to get measurements and provided me a quote thereafter. That initial meeting was the only pleasant part of this experience because the communication after I made the half payment was horrid. Ben mentioned that he would be in another country on a trip the following day after the estimate was provided, but let me know that in two weeks the product will be ready and installed. Two weeks passed and I never received any follow up regarding our install. I also never received the digital receipt and invoice I was told I would get for the payment I made so I made sure to keep the text confirmation to him directly along with my payment detail on my end. I followed up with the company and called three times to speak with someone regarding my installation and product. I received no call back all day and called again the day after. This was when two weeks had already passed. I texted them on their business text line thereafter when I received no follow up. I had to text them twice for me to hear back from Juan (JD) who explained that he was in charge of things while Ben was out of the office in Indonesia. When I expressed my frustration with the fact that no one has contacted me regarding the product and installation, he said "do you want me to help you out or not?" That response was incredibly not empathetic because I was expressing my frustration that it took me asking them 5 different times regarding the service to get any feedback. He connected me with Caesar who was the one doing the installation. Caesar contacted me saying that he would be at my house Thursday to do the install. Thursday, he calls me again to say the product will be in after 330pm so he will have to move the installation to Friday. Caesar said he would be at my home by 9am, but no communication at all till after I called and texted after 910am to receive a text from him saying he will be 30 minutes late. Despite the lapse in communication, Caesar and Miguel both made the ending result of this experience better. They were both polite and took their time to make sure everything was aligned. Both of them deserve 5 stars alone. Aside Caesar and Miguel, communication has honestly been quite bad with this company and the way it was handled when I followed up was quite rude and lacked empathy for the frustration. No client should ideally have to contact the company various times to be acknowledged for the job to follow through. Price for everything was fair, I just wished the customer service was better. Currently, still waiting for an invoice record since the company has not provided that after I tried to call again multiple times to make final payment. I know with travel and everything factored that it wasn't all one person's fault for the horrible communication, but the service just wasn't what I expected because Ben seemed to really care when I met him for the initial estimate. I understand delays, but I had to re-explain the project to Juan (JD) and Caesar because Juan (JD) didn't even know who I was and addressed me as another client named Camila. The whole process after initial estimate was a headache because the staff wasn't prepared and had I not called or texted to follow up multiple times, my project would have been even more delayed. Juan made "promises," he didn't intend to keep because Gina from the office line called saying he never intended to send over the invoice today and that Ben would be the one sending over my warranty and invoice info. Not a great impression of the company as a whole and I am still waiting for the invoice and warranty details. In the end, however, I have to say Ben is trustworthy for his product quality and escalation service. He contacted me as soon as he touched down and provided me with what his staff could not. I know things fell in the communication pipeline when he was away, but I appreciated his urgency to fix the issue. read more

Don't let all the 5 star reviews fool you. PLEASE KEEP LOOKING :( Absolutely garage service and quality. I picked this place 1. For the reviews 2. For the convenience of getting shutters and sun shades done from one business .....NEVER AGAIN. Made an appointment to get an estimate with measurements and it started with me being late for the appointment so I messed up in the beginning, managed to catch Ben before he left. The work: 2 screen doors, 1 shutter and 7 sun shades. The service: I was told the screen doors and sun shades would take 1-2 weeks between ordering and installation, the shutter would take 6-8 weeks. Week 2 has gone by, no call for scheduling installation or anything, just gladly took 50% of the payment and I guess moved on to the next person. So I end up CALLING HIM to figure it out. He asks me when I am available and I happened to be off today and he says okay, he will be sending someone. I message him back asking when I should expect someone and who and he just says "he should be there now." No heads up, just expects me to be home. The work gets done and the quality of installation was half-assed. I took pictures and showed Ben, so he said he would personally come next week to correct the mistakes. Another week passed, no call. So I CALL HIM AGAIN, guess what? He's in California. I don't understand why it's my job to make sure he can do his. When he does come, he sees the work that was done and sees how the sun shade installation is not flush, you could easily have bugs come in and the sun and he says "bugs aren't that small" and doesn't want to fix it until we ask again. Week 8, ready to get some news about the shutters. Once again NO CALL. So I waited till the end of week 8 just for due diligence and tell him my name, address and what I ordered. He kept calling me Jennifer??? I had to consecutively correct him THREE TIMES. Tells me how I needed to wait 8 weeks for the installation so I had to remind him when he actually ordered the material. We finally had someone come to our house to install and he didn't even know how much to charge us for. I was not about to spell everything out, why don't they even have an invoice? Did they even have record of what I initially put down? You know I was checking my credit card statement after the fact. Funny thing is, I had someone ask me for a recommendation since they saw I got some work done, but you know who I told them to steer clear from. ABSOLUTE WORST CHOICE. You said it was no problem. All good. Take care. I had Ben come quote my place once in 2018, and i was unable to afford them. I called him once right before COVID hit, and once in March 2021 once I was able to afford the upgrade gain. He and the company seemed to be a perfect fit. I went back and fourth with him about the materials I wanted, waited until he returned from vacation, was ready to pull the trigger, then suddenly no reply. I called the office, asked for a call back and never got one. Not sure what is going on, I asked if everything was okay and was told everything is fine. I was looking forward to hiring SunOffLV, a good friend recommended them to me. I am forced to look elsewhere, and pushed my project time off by a few months due to having to find a new installation company. Not sure what happened, no explanation - I can only hope everything is alright. read more

He was very helpful with recommendations as to what would work best for us. Amazing quality and customer service! Ben was able to come in and take measurements for my windows the same day I contacted him. It was also on a Sunday evening. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. Felt like I was talking to one of my friends. He gives great advice when I was being indecisive of my choices. He is honest and tries to save you money... rather than trying to add on unnecessary things like most salesmen do when they're trying to make that extra buck. I definitely wanted shutters for my new home. Of course, shutters are expensive, so you NEED have to go with a company that makes and install them with great quality. There was this other door-to-door blind/shutter company that kept bothering me about doing the estimates on the same day they rung my doorbell (happened twice). I looked them up through Yelp and they had mostly bad reviews. Their shutters were badly made! Glue sticking out, uneven frames, tend to be rude when you call them.... I am SO glad I went with Sunoff!! My shutters were reasonably priced. I've told my coworkers about the price of my shutters and they've all said it's actually a good price. It took about 7 weeks for my 15 shutters to come in. JD installed my shutters and did an amazing job! I don't see any issues with any of the shutters. No cracks, uneven frames, glue sticking out. The shutters were all perfect! Ben and JD are both professional and considerate. They both removed their shoes before entering my newly built home and did not leave any stains or damages. My experience was very different from these other reviews. I hired Sunoff to put screens on many of the windows on my home. He got the screens, brought them over, and none of them fit on the windows, but the most expensive one did fit on the sliding glass door. So at least that was installed. He told me he would leave the window screens at the house and refund my money for all the other screens that we couldn't use. That was acceptable. Unfortunately, I never heard from him again, he never refunded my money, and wouldn't respond to my texts. Finally, he responded to a text and then dropped out of site again. I gave up. End result: I have screens I can't use and I am out for the money on all of the window screens. I hate leaving these kind of reviews, but I cannot recommend this company to prospective customers and I think you should know why. I hope he changes his business practices. read more
