When I ask about why did I need to put a credit card on file for something that's already paid for she said it's because of gratuity. So they will add gratuity on your card after your service I feel the customer should be able to pay what they choose after the service. When I called and booked the appointment, the gentleman I spoke with was so nice and helpful to accommodating my needs and preferences. My sister and I came in yesterday for massages. We both enjoyed our services. My sister did say her MT was a little talkative during her service and she wished she had asked for less pressure, but she still enjoyed the massage. My therapist Bella was pretty great, pressure was more like a deep tissue so today I'm sore, but I really needed it. She respected that I didn't really want to talk during the service so I appreciate that. Overall the services were great. Waiting area is nice but just an FYI they don't offer amenities in a traditional day spa (jacuzzi/sauna/etc). They did have a menu of other services that I would love to check out. I plan on visiting in the future because it's tough to find a massage therapist who will work on those knots! I was coerced into signing up for their monthly membership my first visit, where I was told I wouldn't be charged until a month out, then was charged within a few days. I tried to get a hold of them several times a day for almost a week by phone before finding the time to drive over there to talk to someone. After explaining my situation and asking for a refund, I was told no one there could help me and no one is ever available during business hours to help either. Groupon will need to be booked out 2 months in advance and that's not stated in the fine print. I called to schedule and Michael seemed to have plenty of availability until I said it was through Groupon. All of sudden they were so booked. It's a bait and switch operation in my opinion. You call with a Groupon and Michael says, you can return it and come directly to us but it cost more that way. Michael wouldn't honor the Groupon value. It seems shady. Reading the responses to other people's bad reviews it doesn't give off the vibe they want to improve their services. Booked a couples massage for my boyfriend and I and we were not disappointed! I would never have known this place was here from the outside, but it is so nice inside. I love the little snacks in the waiting room and how peaceful it is in there. We filled out the forms and they were detailed. Our massage therapists for our appointment, Gabi and Jude were very attentive to our needs! I had Gabi and she gave me wonderful full body relaxation massage. Jude was polite and communicated well with my boyfriend for his massage. We both left feeling totally relaxed and pleased with our experiences. I've been coming to Best Estie once a month for six months now. I signed up for their membership, which is a no-contract, automatic monthly charge that gets you one service per month. You can pick from a list of services including massage, facial, skin peel, acupuncture, etc.! The best part is that you automatically get one free service just for signing up and you can cancel at any time without a penalty. I've had massages with Raina, Courtney, and Briana. Each have unique massage styles but they are all absolutely fantastic. It took a bit of experimentation to find my preferences in massage pressure & body part focus, so I am thankful to them for being so skilled and open to feedback. I am very happy that I made this routine part of my self-care. I look forward to my appointments because I definitely feel much more relaxed after each one. I had a Groupon for a massage at Best Estie. When I called to book I was told it was only available during the week and needed to be booked 30 days in advance. That was not disclosed anywhere in the fine print of the Groupon so it was a bit disappointing but I went ahead and booked. The day before my appointment I got a notification that my appointment was cancelled and I needed to reschedule. At this point I started to get nervous as I had read prior reviews about issues using Groupons. I decided to reschedule and see what happens and to my surprise there were zero issues upon arrival. I was seen promptly by Mariah and she gave a great Swedish massage. She kept checking in if her medium pressure was comfortable for me and gave a very thorough massage that lasted the full 50 minutes. Two thumbs up! After the massage they did try to get me to join their membership but I declined and they didn't push back. Overall, this was a great massage for the price. He's a massage therapist who isn't afraid to apply pressure and I walked out of there feeling amazing! My knots in my back, shoulder and neck are all gone! She checked in on the pressure and made sure to focus on the areas that I told her were giving me discomfort. Daytona gave me my facial and she was very thorough with my extractions. I struggle with mild adult acne so while the facial wasn't particularly relaxing my skin felt and looked noticably better after the treatment.
