Mechanic Zach Cardisco was fast, thoroughly explained everything that was going on, was detailed oriented and did good work. He also hand threaded my lug nuts back on to my studs unlike many places nowadays that just throw them into the socket and then tighten them down with the impact wrench which often cross threads them or breaks the studs. He had a very friendly demeanor, kind use of his tools and equipment was careful not to scratch paint or do any damage, etc. He took a lot of pride in his work and it showed. Ask for him by name. Cons: Realize its a $120 service call before anyone does any work. Not really shown will on their website. (Website also has a few spelling and grammar errors / should be open 24/7 they have it backwards) No mobile payment options whatsoever. Giving a low initial quote and then jacking up the price once the work is done is downright shady. I will note that I also got a quote from Dingman's that was slightly higher than Kaizen's quote (though lower than the final bill) that did include a flat cost for recalibration, so apparently they figured it out. It took 5 weeks to get the car into the shop, which is fine (every place is busy these days). Two days after dropping it off, they informed me I'd be without my car for 2 weeks, which seemed like a long time for a simple fix (no spare parts or anything). The day I was supposed to pick it up, I called in to see when it would be ready; only then was I informed it would be a further 2 days. Note they never called me. Between the completely wrong estimate, the long repair time, and the complete lack of communication, I would have assumed this is the first time they've fixed a car. In retrospect I should have asked more questions, but I naively assumed that the shop would be honest and accurate in their communication. Then again if they had been honest, I might have chosen a different shop. The cherry on top was that when I got my car back, they had broken the driver-side seatbelt (it wouldn't retract). They did fix it within a half hour (nice of them), but the employee who gave me my keys told me that the guy who had reassembled the seatbelt just didn't care about doing a good job. The driver fender and driver door was damaged, and the suspension was knocked out of alignment. I have a scratch in my driver side mirror that wasn't there after my car was hit. There was some kind of grease on the mirror and driver side window. There was grease left under the sun visor on the driver side. I had a pretty nice Captain America themed steering wheel cover that is now ruined due to one of the grimy workers smearing grease all over the cover and upon trying to clean it, rubbed off most of the color. The cover is now mostly grease colored. Someone at the shop took everything in the passenger side of the vehicle as well as the back seat of the vehicle, and threw it all into the cargo area of the vehicle. Now tell me, why do you need to get into the back seat while doing body work? I can see the floors were vacuumed, which is great, but who gave you the right to throw everything into the cargo area? I would recommend this shop for great work, but I'm pretty steamed about the rest of what they did. And let me add, I didn't ask for my car to be washed. I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth, but I'm that kind of person.

After two visits to other shops, I came back to Mick's because the other shops weren't able to get the part I needed very quickly (or at all), and couldn't do the job for less. Mick's got the part I needed quicker than they said they could -- within one business day -- called me the day it arrived and installed it (a 5-minute job, but still) as soon as I got to the shop (dropping other work to do so). Treated me like I was important, and both the owner and his father called me by my name -- a rarity in business dealings these days. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.
