Just to clarify it's only 2 tires that needed to be replaced, i've changed tires before but was looking for a cheaper option probably would've taken 30-45 min to do. Upon calling I was quickly dispatched a mechanic to my location, as I was broken down in a retail location with a dead battery. Mechanic Zach Cardisco was fast, thoroughly explained everything that was going on, was detailed oriented and did good work. He also hand threaded my lug nuts back on to my studs unlike many places nowadays that just throw them into the socket and then tighten them down with the impact wrench which often cross threads them or breaks the studs. He had a very friendly demeanor, kind use of his tools and equipment was careful not to scratch paint or do any damage, etc. He took a lot of pride in his work and it showed. Ask for him by name. Cons: Realize its a $120 service call before anyone does any work. Not really shown will on their website. (Website also has a few spelling and grammar errors / should be open 24/7 they have it backwards) No mobile payment options whatsoever. Luckily my bank was down the street, but be prepared to have cash ready for the call.

A nearby transmission shop was too busy and recommended nearby Car Tech to me for diagnosis (lights…read morewere flashing). I'd already been to a couple other places including dealerships - with each telling me my transmission was the problem and needed it rebuilt at the very least (costing between $4-6,000!!) I initially went to Car Tech but each time, the lights were not flashing where the diagnostic machine would be able to detect it. In the meantime, my car began having issues with starting. Took it to Car Tech, and it was the starter. While Shannon was fixing that, he also discovered the solenoid was also going bad. He fixed that at a fraction of the cost other shops quoted. Then I had a few other issues pop up and once again, Shannon fixed those quickly and didn't rake me over the coals with charges on doing it. Within a few weeks of having the Starter done, my car began not wanting to start again. Shannon stands behind his work. He told me to bring it back in. It wasn't the Starter. He spent the day, running all the electrical lines and discovered my wiring harness had been tampered with (maybe one of the other shops I had taken it to?? It clearly wasn't done by any animal). A new one was gonna run over $1000. Didn't make sense to do for me car and to be honest I just didn't have that kind of money. Shannon had Brandi (the other mechanic) find that part used and it was installed on my 2013 Impala. Ended up being what was actually causing the initial issue with my car to begin with -- the one that everyone else was wanting to charge me over $4k to put in a rebuilt transmission!! Obviously not needed!! Shannon saved me a crap ton of money that I just didn't have and fixed what was truly wrong with my car and didn't over charge me for it!! My car has been running like it did 8yr ago when I bought it!! Shannon does amazing work, turned his love for working on cars into a successful business that actually HELPS people while doing it!!! I had taken the vehicle to the shop that installed the system when it began to make a rattling noise and they were unable to fix it. Nick the service tech looked under the car and discovered a bad mounting bracket and a crack in the exhaust pipe. He called Magnaflow and explained the problem and Magnaflow insisted on replacing the entire system. When I asked the dealer to look at it they refused as they were not the manufacturer. Nick also went through the entire vehicle and pointed out some warranty work to have done before it expired. Looks like Atherton's is my new automotive repair shop!

Thank goodness for AAA. They recommended Atherton Automotive and so that's where we went. Before we even got there Matt had already ordered the starter for us. They were not sure how long it would be for the part to get there, so Shane and I decided to go across the street for breakfast, and to just take up some time.
