Parts are not easy to find for a Jeep that old, especially since that was the last year Jeep made that model.. I went to Acme for the first time April 1 and Curt (the owner) was the absolute nicest guy -- felt…read morelike I knew him forever, and right when I first started talking to him I could sense the sincerity and integrity of this guy and the place -- one of the cleanest auto and body shop repair places that I have ever been to. To make a long story short, Tires Plus, on 132nd and Maple told me this Ford Escape of my daughter's which I had just spent a bunch of $$ at Tires Plus to put a new AC compressor in and recharge a few weeks ago now needed more work. But, when we tried the AC on warm days and even the day after leaving the place the first time after the repair it was not throwing any cold or even cool air out. When I took it back in, assuming it was under warranty from 3 weeks before, they said it now needed a new evaporator coil. The cost? $1600. I took the car back and took it to Kurt at Acme. He and his mechanics checked out the whole AC system to find out it was only a fuse and now the AC is working great and Acme did that at minimal cost. I will keep bringing my cars to Acme.
