Prior to the adventure, the owner, Bobby, met with me and my dog in person. He took the time to learn about my dog's personality and behaviors, and answered all of my questions. After meeting him I felt very comfortable letting him take my fur baby out and had confidence that it would go well. (I don't easily trust anyone with my dog, so this is saying a lot) Bobby was professional, kind, super knowledgeable about dogs and supportive. He took some great photos of Leia having a blast on her adventure which I loved. We are incredibly thankful for Dr. Williams and the entire veterinary emergency team who cared for…read moreour girl, Romie, during our recent visit to the clinic. When we brought Romie in, she was unable to get up or walk. The doctor and staff were incredibly thorough and quick to determine what was happening. During an ultrasound, they discovered that she had a very large splenic tumor that was actively bleeding. Their knowledge, urgency, and compassion gave us the answers we needed during an incredibly difficult and emotional time. Everyone who cared for Romie went above and beyond. They treated her with such gentleness and dignity, while also treating us with an incredible amount of compassion and understanding. When it became clear that we needed to say goodbye to our girl, they gave us the time and privacy we needed to be with her. That kindness meant more to us than we can ever adequately express. Veterinary medicine providers do not receive nearly enough recognition for the difficult and deeply emotional work they do every day. They care for animals when they are at their most vulnerable, while also supporting families through some of their most painful moments.
