Door Doctor installed a replacement garage door spring for me with a five-year warranty in August…read more2022. It failed in July 2025. Their technician replaced this spring with the same type (250 lb. x 32 spring), but he indicated that given the weight of the wooden door, a heavier spring should have been installed back in 2022. (A 262 x 40 lb. "High Cycle"). I have written Door Doctor multiple times including certified return receipt to have the proper spring installed, but they have yet to contact me and resolve the issue.
