Best Kept Secret did a superb job cleaning my carpets. I'm a picky person and I am thrilled with the job they did. The team that came was on time, friendly, thorough and professional. They moved some minor furniture, and after shampooing, placed plastic squares under the feet after putting everything back. They put down a powder blotter on a big stain that keeps coming back up and the stain is now gone. I had thought I'd have to replace my carpets, but they looked new after Best Kept Secret finished cleaning and raking. The carpet was scrubbed and completely vacuumed out so that the carpets felt dry, soft and clean of residue afterward. Will use them again. read more

We purchased a LivingSocial deal and although there was a month+ wait in scheduling our carpet cleaning, believe me, it was SO worth the wait! These two extraordinarily hard workers showed up on time and lavished their attention on all 4 rooms, making them glow with cleanliness with their shampoo+steam combo 2-stage treatment. They both worked REALLY HARD for almost 2 hours, getting ALL of the soap out, and after the carpets dried, they virtually looked and felt like new - and they're 8.5 years old! Kim and John are the best- I felt like they were family when they left (almost gave them hugs and said see ya next time)! The family room had chocolate milk, juice, dirt, playdough, etc and now there's no trace of anything and its super soft! I used a "chain" company last time and was less expensive, but I got what I paid for- in both instances!! If I could give this business more than five stars, I would. We had a very tragic happening with our aged, terminally ill dog on our nearly brand new, very expensive bedroom Berber carpet. Needless to say, besides trying to clean up huge puddles of blood, being distraught over our dog's death, and having had the carpet company send their "recommended cleaner", who was unable to lift the stains, and then have the carpet company for an estimate ($3K!!) to rip up this new carpet and lay new carpet, as we were unable to even enter the room, due to the tragic reminders, we were truly at a loss. After doing much research, including calling a Crime Scene Cleaner (yep, it was that bad), I happened upon BEST KEPT SECRET, and all of their awesome reviews, one after another, after another. I thought: too good to be true. I spoke with the kindest lady, who after expressing her condolences, set me up for the very next day. Kim and John came out on time, with a lot of big portable equipment, sanitary booties, and smiles, and immediately, Kim set me at ease. She was aware of our dog's passing, and was so sympathetic and kind to me. After evaluating the carpet, she said she honestly thought she could get the stains up. They worked for a bit under two hours, really hard, with a lot of equipment, and more cleaning steps than any carpet cleaner I have ever had. She did not charge me the full price of the copious amount of blotter she laid down, a white, sawdust like material that was sprinkled liberally over all three huge puddle spots, to be left for 24 hours, then vacuumed up. The entire cost was 80$. Yep, 80 dollars, for a bedroom that is 800 square feet!! When we vacuumed the next day, our carpet looks like the day we bought it. We literally sat down on it, and cried. In relief, in sorrow of our dog's passing, and now because there is no grisly reminder and we can return to our bedroom, in thanks. THANK YOU, BEST KEPT SECRET. We are telling everyone we know, we love you, we are so grateful to you, and we will be calling you to come back and do our entire house soon. Fantastic service! I needed to have my large area rug in my family room clean and Best Kept Secret did an amazing job. My elderly dog urinated on the rug so it needed to be cleaned ASAP. They were able to come out next day and were on time and worked quickly. The rug came out super clean and smells great now. Kids are free to play on it again!! Price was great as well. I'm not afraid to say that I am not impressed. I used this company because of all of the glowing reviews. I really needed to have the carpet cleaned before we moved in to this home so it was vacant. I don't know why they used scrubbing machines instead of just the typical extraction. They didn't get the soiled spots clean at all. In addition, the carpet was buckled up in some areas. Disappointed to say the least. Another thing that was questionable is that they asked for payment up front before even dragging their equipment into the house. Our boy dog would also throw up on the carpeting now and then. We have one of those Bissel pet carpet cleaners, but it leaves dirty rings around the area it works in, and still leaves stains too. This team of two showed up right on time and have not taken a break in over four hours. I'm certain they are doing a much more thorough job than anyone else would have. Very nice work. Both folks worked diligently to clean our dejected (by previous owner) travel trailer upholstery and walls... all came out as good as anyone could expect. I was a bit worried about the moisture left in the upholstery when they left, but, as they stated, it dried out very fast and looks very good, considering age and abuse. WOW! Best kept secret...the BEST for carpet cleaning...and half the price of the others..unlike the big names on the yellow trucks, they go over and over an area or the whole room until it is CLEAN. They use a variety of cleaning, the round scrubbing industrial machine, the steam wand, the steam cleaning with pressure and then John used a carpet rake over the entire rugs and it looks like new. WOW WOW WOW! All I can say, if you don't use Best Kept Secret to clean your carpets, you are missing out. Over the last 3 years since purchasing our home, I have used 5 different carpet cleaning companies. When they were done the walkway through the house still looked dirty and worn. I was told by all of them that I would have to live with it, as that was the best that could be done with this carpet. I saw a special on Angie's list for carpet cleaning. I figures here I go again. I called the number to make an appointment, hung the phone up and within 2 minutes got a call back. I explained all that I had been through and was assured this carpet clean would not end up like all the rest. They came yesterday, right on time. I again explained my frustration, they put my wife and me at ease and said this will not end up like all the cleaning jobs I have had in the past.
