I "dry-clean-hop" a lot! Compared to living in NY, dry cleaning in TX is plentiful and cheap. I was spending so much money on dry cleaning in NY, my regular dry cleaner would greet me at the curb when he saw that I was pulling up, they did free alterations wherever I would unintentionally leave a safety pen, and they were outrageously friendly and courteous. I'm dry cleaning the same amount of clothing, but I don't receive the same amount of customer service. Until I do, the least little thing will cause one to loose me as a dry cleaning customer. At one time, I was even driving to Pasadena on a bi-weekly basis for dry cleaning. When they shrank, lost, and damaged my clothing with a pitiful excuse for compensation, I was gone with the wind... I stopped using Best at one point because the owner argued me down about an article of clothing that she lost. However, she didn't feel responsible because I left the establishment before I realized it. She basically accused me of attempting to cheat her out of the replacement for a missing sweater--it wasn't like she was going to give me any more than $10 anyway. I continued to avoid this place when the feisty owner called the police on my mother! My mother manages homes where mentally challenged adults reside. She left some pants to be altered (to fit a very short, plump man), but when she returned to pick up the pants, she did so without the claim ticket as it was lost. Disbelief ensued, my mother became offended, and the authorities were called...Like my mother put it: was she really trying to steal some pants that she obviously couldn't wear for herself. After breaking up with a few other dry cleaners, I ended back up here. I remain here because the service is fast, very cheap, many employees are my former students, and it's close to my home. I don't care for the customer service from the owner, at all!!! I suggest closely counting and inspecting your clothing BEFORE walking out with them...If something isn't cleaned or pressed properly, you can leave it to be re-cleaned without any additional charge. read more

I've been coming here off and on(or trying to !) every since this place opened. It is very convenient and I especially like and need the one day service. However!, every time I go I say I'll never come back. I work in the customer service industry myself and it is always glaring to me how these people have zero customer service skills It doesn't take much...at all.. to acknowledge a customer, just a smile, hello, may I help you....thank you...but never have I ever seen this. Instead I feel like I am bothering them This has been a local business for quite a few years now and it sure would be nice to feel welcomed and be made to feel like your business was appreciated but this has never been the case. Horrible, dirty, nastiest dry cleaners I have ever been in. Best Laundromat my a$$. I just picked up my husbands $200 polo shirt that I asked her to take a stain out of. She took the stain out of it and bleached the rest of the shirt that was not messed up at all. Her responds to me was and attitude to me was oh well "Sue me". So I suggest if you spend alot of money on your clothes and take care of them NOT to bring them here. Poor customer service and can care less about how she treat your clothes. read more

Brought in three blouses to be DRY CLEANED. They washed and dried them, which, of course, made them shrink. They now no longer fit. Save your money and find a cleaner place with better service to bring your clothes. read more

They use to be great. Could get stains out like nothing, fast service, nice, and cheap. But now they're slow, no one knows prices and the people who know prices don't know the right prices. I've had nothing but problems with them. I asked for heavy starch and they put none on there! I never get my uniforms when I actually need them. They use to work with me and let me pick up my stuff at noon because I go to school at night but now pick up time is strictly 6 all of a sudden. Ummm no thanks. DO NOT COME HERE! Dropped off pants to be pressed and they had a small tear in the bottom hem. Pants were new with tags but had to be cut at bottom to get off mannequin. Lady was nice in the morning I told her I need them by today she said ok pay 5 extra and come after 6. Went to pick up at 720 and pants weren't done. Old Chinese man gets an attitude saying it takes 3 days for alterations. I tell him I needed them done for maternity pics in the morning and I specifically asked if it would be done and Victoria told me yes! He starts yelling telling me who cares it's only 5 dollars. I said it's not about the money is the fact that now they won't be fixed for my photos tomorrow. He continues to Yell in front of my 5 year old daughter and calls me a FUCKING BITCH yelling for me to leave read more

I needed my wedding dress altered & went to Best Launderers & Cleaners in Baytown on January 7th, around 8:00 am. I met with the owner, Miss Victoria, & tried my dress on for her, got measured & fitted for the alterations. Before I agreed to the cost & alterations she said she could have it back to me in 7 days. I asked if 7 days was time enough to have it ready because this was my WEDDING DRESS, I wanted it done correctly & not botched & that I was flying out of the country on January 23rd. She said if I could give her up to 10 days it would definitely be done. I agreed on the price, paid her (the payment cleared my bank Jan 9th) & was supposed to pick up the dress on January 17th. On January 17th I called the cleaners to tell them I was coming to get my dress & was told it was not there!!! I was told the owners were out of town & my dress was locked up in the embroidery shop (in the same shopping strip) and they had no way to get into that store.?!?! The lady on the phone could not tell me if my dress was even ready. This employee told me to try back Monday & was not apologetic at all. So as of Monday January 21st I have called 3 times by 9 a.m. & the phone has rang with no answer whatsoever.(today is a holiday) I find it very shitty that my payment was taken & our agreement was broken by the owner herself. Right now I still don't know if my dress is ready & if it will fit & now I doubt that the alterations are correct either. Been trying to find a new dry cleaners in Baytown. Thought, Best Launderes & Cleaners in Baytown was a good place with same day service and fair prices to me anyways. Took 7 shirts and 5 pairs of pants and dropped them off on 4/13/15 at 6:30am, and was told they would be available after 6:00pm. Same day service to me was great, since my previous cleaners was only slightly cheaper, but had a two day turn around. Well I showed back up that afternoon and to a line of four people in front of me which was no big deal. Though, 20 mins later there was at least 15 people waiting and still four people in front of me. The lady couldn't find tickets and was totally overwhelmed by the whole ordeal. I would say it was a language issue, but two of the people in front of me who spoke fluent Spanish had the same issues. Finally at 6:40pm she found my ticket which I had to point out, since she flipped past the W's. The next morning putting on a new pair of freshly pressed jeans and shirt and everything was okay. Clothes looked great and I wrote it all off as a small issue having to wait in line like I did. Till this morning (4/27/2015) when I went to put on my last pair of jeans before taking everything to the cleaners tomorrow. When I noticed paint stains on my jeans. First off anyone who knows me, knows I wouldn't have paint stains or any other stains on my clothes, nor would I waste the money getting them clean. I also noticed they were heavily starched with a crease, two things I never get done to any of my clothes. Finally I held them up and they were a size 42x32 and I wear a 38x34. I took 5 brand new sets of jeans to them all the same brand....oh and the pair I had on wasn't even the same brand as I took them. I am curious who the poor man is trying to squeeze into a pair a jeans that are way to small and dragging the ground....some poor sole is walking around in regular fit jeans, fitting like a pair of skinny jeans. Granted he did receive an upgrade per say on the brand of jeans. As far as the cleaners go they were no help and with that I will never be back again no matter how cheap their prices are or the quality of their services from here on out. Never never go here. They lost my clothes and the owner accused me of stealing my own clothes claiming my friend pick it up for me when I had the original ticket. Long story short, she never tried to offer any time of customer service but offered scenarios of how my clothes was stolen and called the police. After 1.5 of being there and nice men (a strangers to me)walks in with my clothes. The staff gave him my clothes but the owner still insisted he was my friend and took it and brought it back.. I dropped 6 pair of pants off there to be starched. When i came to get them they were not done correctly. So I left them there to be restarched again, and I dropped off 10 more pair of pants . When I went back to get them they tried to give me someone else's clothes. I tried to tell the lady 8 times, that was not my clothes. When we finally did work everything out and she found my clothes, one of the pair pants was missing and they still weren't done correctly. so when I left there I was short one pair of pants and I was out of $40. 13 pieces of dry cleaning, smelled HORRIBLE, like moldy mildew sewer, couldn't even wear the clothes, went back and asked them to be recleaned, they said that they would reclean. They were NOT recleaned. Still smell horrible! Did not even have tags and were not in a plastic bag when they were supposedly recleaned. Not only are they incapable of cleaning clothes, they are also rude and they are liars. DONT GO HERE. read more

Rude owner and employees. New in town and needed a cleaners. Looked reputable so tried them. Was about to leave to a convention and had just picked white dress shirt up. They had ironed over the buttons going down the front of the shirt leaving impressions of all the buttons down the front. Took shirt back and they said to pick it up later. No apologies. Matter of fact "put out"! Went to pick it up later. They couldn't find it at first. Then they realized they had it locked up. Told me to come back later and owner MIGHT be there. When I challenged this she told me to go get owner's husband over at the bakery to unlock it. I did even after seeing employees going back and forth to get themselves a drink. Went in and asked if he was owner. "Yes, what you need?" I told him so he walks back to cleaners to find shirt. Finally did and was worried about where the ticket was. The lady told him it was a redo. He hands it to me unapologetically. And, guess what? The shirt was the same and I pointed this out to him. He said that's how they iron the shirts. "That's why it so cheap". 1.99 for one shirt is NOT cheap and certainly doesn't excuse crappy service. I told him "no" I had never had a shirt laundered like that before. Very RUDE! I won't be giving these people any of my business. Wouldn't give them any stars but you have to give at least one to rate them. read more
