Called this number form google search…read more Got a quote of $50 service charge and started out at $19 per lock but then the technician restated ammount as $40 per lock. I said thank you but that is too much to rekey the lock. Called 3 different local lock smiths all could do it same day average charge was $20 to $25 dollars per lock. Plus ervice charge of between $50 to $75. I feel I was being taklen advantaged of due to my problems being a recent victim. Just wanted to share the information.

I had an issue with my safe dial not working properly so I felt it was time to have it professionally checked out or serviced before I could be locked out. Being locked out would have not only been a headache but very costly to resolve. From the moment I called Mr. Taha he immediately knew what was the issue and provided me a lower than standard flat rate for the trip fee, initial inspection and perform a minor service. Other competitors were charging more. Mr. Taha then checked the schedule of his main technician Mr. Hamid and managed to have him visit my office about an hour or so later. I was already feeling comfortable with Mr. Taha's attentiveness and prompt action to my need. He had been an experienced technician in the field for about 40 years. Within minutes Mr. Hamid knew what was the issue and after performing all his routine checks, he discovered my safe required a new inner lock kit. He was very reassuring and said not to worry, he will pick one up from the shop and bring it the next working day. I was not charged for the first trip and inspection fee (unlike other competitors) and as promised Mr. Hamid returned the next morning with the new lock kit. Within an hour of Mr. Hamid's return he had the new lock kit installed, helped me re-combination the safe dial and provided a full inspection. The dial worked so much more smoothly and consistently. Both Mr. Hamid and Mr. Taha assured me that the new lock would probably last as long as the original model part which is about 20 years. Mr. Hamid had me verified that the new combination worked properly twice before leaving my office. I was so pleased with the service, reliability and professionalism at First Security Safe. If you are a business owner in the Los Angeles area or surrounding counties and in need of service, parts or a whole new safe, do not hesitate to contact First Safe Security. Called for a lock out service to request a quote. The dispatch took down my info. Shortly after,…read moreMike called saying he's 10 minutes away and said pricing starts at $55. He also said he'd let me know once I got there if my type of lock would cost more. That part was solid! He arrived quickly and began. But he never asked me whether my door handle still pulls down on the inside to open the door (it doesn't). After watching him struggle to try and pull the handle using a metal contraption that slid under the door, it became obvious that he made an assumption that needed feedback. I also texted the building maintenance person to explain what Mike was trying to do. He offered feedback that finally got him on the right track. Yay! He used balloon devices near the latch to pop the door open... right into the wall, which left a dent (ouch... I guess holding the handle wasn't possible. Fine). Mike walks out to get his receipt book. He attempts to charge me over $200 without ever mentioning pricing along the way as a heads up. When I mention the scratch marks I now have to clean and the wall I have to patch up from the door popping into it, the price lowers to just over $150. I paid it, but I wasn't happy that I called at 11:30, he got here by 11:45, and didn't finish until 12:30 after spending so much time trying to pull down a handle that's not meant to budge when locked.
