Me and my family came to get pedicures, my water was dirty when I asked for it to be switched the lady was rude. After two days, my fingers still hurt from the rough, unprofessional treatment I received from the owner's spouse. AND, the fault (apparently) was mine because I was a "difficult client." What a sloppy thing to say to a customer. I have been getting my nails done for years. Years. I KNOW what an experience at a salon should "look like." The dead giveaway is if they ask if I "live nearby." In other words, "will I be a returning customer?" What a disaster. Seriously, all I asked was that she didn't hurry. Yes, I asked several times (because she was frantically hurrying!) but still, she rushed and skipped steps and was genuinely rude. What a cop-out to say I was a "difficult client." It tipped her well over 20% yet still she suggested "if I wasn't pleased, don't come back." I made a baby quilt for my pregnant nail technician at home. I'm not difficult. I simply know what goes in to a nail appointment. And this foolish woman did a horrible job...even when I asked her throughout to "take her time." They completely ruined her nails and the guy here not only cut my finger once but twice then checked to see if I noticed (OF COURSE I DID IT HURT) then went out multiple times for a cigarette and made my nails way too thick. Interesting to read all of the mixed reviews. I've been going to this nail salon with my friends and family for many years and not once have I had a bad experience. I'm very picky about my nails and one time I had an edge didn't feel smooth to me. I just let them know and they fixed it right away. That has been the one micro-detail in years of getting quality mani/pedis. Their prices are very reasonable - if not cheap. I think that overall, it is a good value and wonderful experience. If I ever need or want a manicure or pedicure, I will always come here. So, to everyone who appreciates quality nails, I would strongly recommend this fine establishment. read more

My pedicure took less than 15 minutes. Did not even cut or push back cuticles, rushed rushed rushed. I couldn't believe how bad service was. Today was my first time ever not tipping for a service, my toes looked better when I came in and my pink paint is not even thick enough to cover evenly, all smudged in corners. I asked through pedicure if she could go back & cut my cuticles, but not much English I guess? Horrible experience, I let her know it was fastest & worst pedicure I had ever gotten and they didn't seem to care one bit. Will never go back:( makes me wonder sanitation of the foot baths. I just got my nails done for my WEDDING IN 3 DAYS! And they completely f***** them up! I'm literally in tears because they ruined my nails! I have been growning out my natural nails for 2 months in preparation for my wedding and the man at the nail salon put acrylic on my nails then turned my hand upside down and filed off my natural nail tips under the acrylic.... Now I can't even take the acrylic off to go somewhere else that will give me what I want! Because mu nails are gone!! On top of that I asked for pointed tips and I got round tips, i ask for white with silver sparkle and got silver with multicolor sparkle that clashes with my ring!! This is the last time I come here. I went in to treat myself to a special pedicure. It's much more expensive than what I would normally do but I was having a nice day. That was until my pedicurist took it upon herself to remove an ingrown toenail. With her pedi tools she did a little minor surgery as I screamed and bled, so stunned. I should have left, honestly, but I was so upset and unsure how to proceed. They kept telling me it was fine as I expressed concerns about infection. When I explained to the manager that it was not an accident as he kept stating, but an intentional overstep of a pedicure and the reasonable expectation one would have to not leave in pain, concerned about infection he continued to minimize, said he would "tell the boss", and took $10 off my service. You couldn't pay me to go here again. The total for two shellac manicures and two pedicures was $96...not too bad, however the service and quality here is horrendous. There are only 5 pedicure chairs lined up here so when a group of 4 ladies came in, I was told to move. It wasn't a huge deal but I thought it was odd that I was told to move before the top coat had been put on (it never was). No one even acknowledged me again until I asked if we could pay so we could leave. As for the shellac, there were severe brush strokes and that the clear coat wasn't even. It was glopped on so haphazardly that I actually had to asked them to cut the excess clear shellac (about 1/8") off of my skin. Fast forward two hours and the first shellac chip happens...half of my ring finger chips off like peel off nail polish. Then today, half of the shellac on my thumb chips off. SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY. If you absolutely HAVE to go here, you should know that you can only tip in cash and that square nails actually means that your nails will be square (with sharper edges)...no rounded edges here. read more

Is the decor dated? Yes. Is it a luxury spa experience? No. Will I go back again and and again? YES! Once a month I take my friend's mom for a pedicure. She is elderly and suffers from Alzheimer's. Nothing is easy, including a pedi. She fidgets, takes her feet in and out of the water, rubs her freshly painted toes together and all the while the staff is patient and kind. They talk to her, explain things to her and joke with her. The gentleman that works there helps her into the chair and pretends he's dancing with her. It is warm and wonderful. Even when I go in alone they ask about how she is doing. $28 is a great price for a pedi with hot stone massage and paraffin dip but the staff is priceless. read more

The salon has a unique air system, so it never smells like chemicals...smells like food sometimes when they are cooking in back. Lisa, the owner is very nice. I have always been well treated. I was in there a bit ago, the place is clean and doesn't smell bad. I was greeted with "what do you want?" And I could barely understand her. She was distracted the whole time with what others where doing. It wasn't really that busy. Then when doing my nails she was distracted and I have air bubbles all over in my nails. They were cut crooked and no top coat on the sides of my nails. For a pedicure and nails cost me 67 dollars. I am sorry but I have had much better service for a whole lot less. Worst service ever. The only one that is worth anything there is the older guy with a limp. The first time I went no one spoke, A GUY did my nails and was not all that friendly, the nails looked oversized and like horseshoes. ...a week later 3 nails fell off of my hands and 2 off of my daughters...he did hers too...I went back to fill and fix and the older guy with a limp did my nails PERFECT...NONE of them came off. I went back 2 weeks later and the first guy ended up doing my nails. I was in a hurry so thought oh ok maybe it was just a coincidence that they feel of the first time. NOPE!!!!! 1 WEEK IN AND 4 NAILS have fallen off. He didn't do the whole process I noticed he skips steps. And very unfriendly. I have gone here a handful of times over the past several years and I am finally done after my last trip. My nails look horrible. I got a fill and my nails were fairly new, so i left the tips white. The nail beds are blotchy. I mean noticeably blotchy. Also, they rushed the drying on the shellac so the shine only lasted about 3 days. They really kind of act like they are annoyed to have customers and can't wait to get rid of you. I'd be fine with that if they didn't cut corners to make that happen. read more

I'm all about giving a business a 2nd chance.. Well I'm so incredibly mad I did that! I wouldn't go back to this place if you paid me. #1 I asked for a simple "chevron" design on one finger. My nails look like crap!! I told them I didn't like it and they told me it was too late. #2 I went to pay (shame on me) the guy embarrassed me by saying my debit card wouldn't work and when I said what do you mean he said "your card won't work" I proceeded to run to the bank and came back with cash. He said sorry about your card I said " my card? You mean your machine isn't working has nothing to do with my card" I will NEVER go back. I will not go back! I have been using Best Nails for a number of years now, mainly for pedicures. My last pedicure was done by a high school boy on spring break....nice kid, worst pedicure! Not wanting to make a scene afterward, I went ahead and paid full price; I was not offered a discount nor was I given a choice of technicians. I meant to go in the next week and talk to the male manager, but life got in the way. When I finally got there and explained very nicely that the polish was already coming off, etc., the gal I charge was rude and totally unhelpful.
