We had a steady conversation during our visit with them and they actually took their time to clean up our feet and massage them. And for the price, extremely worth it. This is my first time here, may I give you an honest review? 1. The lady who took me to the eyebrow room said, "I will be doing everything for you front top to bottom, everything will be nice". When we walked out of the eyebrow room, she gives me to someone else and she takes another lady. 2. The table in the eyebrow room is filthy, was all over the upper part of the sheet and the white paper had dirt on it at the bottom, probably from shoes but the paper should be changed after each client. 3. The lady doing my pedicure was sweet but she was afraid to drill too hard, scrape too hard, clip too hard. It was like she was new to doing it. The head guy had to do some of the drilling to get the gel polish off. She never emptied the towel so my feet are sitting in clipped nails and cuticle clippings... 4. She said she would be doing my manicure, instead she did another pedicure while I waited for someone to do my manicure. 5. The pedicure was fine, but this was the worst SNS manicure I have ever had. She filed more of my skin around my nails than the nail itself, to the point my finger tips have a million tiny cuts on them. She also used the sander so I have cuts on my cuticles and they are red and swollen. Really disappointed, the whole Mani pedi took over two hours and it was painful. Would never recommend. read more

This is my new favorite place to get my nails done. I came here with my friend and we were both treated very well. Bother of us we're promptly greeted by a nice gentleman who guided us with our nail polish selection and what services were available. Then we were taken to our massage chairs and introduced to our nail techs, both of whom were very nice and worked quickly and efficiently. The salon itself is absolutely gorgeous and really hip and trendy with tranquil, chill, satellite music playing. The floors are water...yes, water! Scared the heck out of me at first, but it's beautiful and adds a zen like feel to this place. The chairs are obviously new and very clean. Basically everything about it is awesome! read more

To start off, you can look at past reviews of mine - I typically rate businesses 4 or 5 stars and don't have unrealistic expectations. My normal and back up nail salons were closed when I wanted to get my nails done. I saw that Best Nails II was open. I called to make an appointment for two regular manicures and pedicures later in the day. When we arrived, we signed in (which indicated both name and services requested) and verbally confirmed our services requested at the front desk. I was immediately impressed with how clean and beautiful the salon was and thought to myself that this could be somewhere I frequented in the future. We started with our pedicures which went well with the exception of the temperature of the salon - much warmer than I would have liked. This has not been an issue for me at other salons. While I was sitting in the massage chair for another 10 minutes or so past completion of the pedicure, the tech that did my pedicure asked if I also wanted a manicure. I said yeah, I scheduled a manicure as well. He brought me over to get my manicure started. My guest's tech was no where to be found following her manicure so she reminded the front desk about her manicure. They didn't have anyone to do her manicure so she had to wait. The individual at the front desk informed the eventual substitute tech that my guest wanted a gel manicure. My guest again reminded the individual it was a regular manicure. The tech went and did gel anyway. My guest corrected her, but decided to get gel anyway to both avoid the headache and rationalized that gel lasted longer (although per my guest, it didn't). To make matters worse, following the manicure I had to point out multiple areas where either my nails were either missing polish or had nail polish on my skin. I don't think I've had to point out more than 1-2 issues with my nails, ever. My guest had already paid for and tipped on my services when I thought I was still waiting on her. Bottom line: this was a very disorganized and non-relaxing experience. I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I had a great experience here as a walk in. I wanted to try this place based on some of the positive feedback and I wasnt disappointed. I was welcomed in and seated promptly. Nail salon seemed clean, I was only here for a gel manicure. The technician I had took her time shaping and filing my nails which is nice, as I've been to placed where they rush and the nails don't come out even - I hate that. I asked for a glitter type ombré and I think they did a pretty good job. Everyone was kind and I didn't feel rushed at all. They also aren't very chatty among each other , I know some don't like too much talking for obvious reasons. Would definitely recommend and definitely go back. My gel was $35 and was the same price that I'm used to paying at my main salon in Bradenton, I think they did quality work. ***update: i recently changed my original 5 star review to a 3 star because of my subpar SNS experience. I will say that I've always been happy with my gel, but I recently switched to SNS and this place doesn't cut it. The tech acknowledge that the powder was clumpy, but proceeded to do my nails anyway. Clunky powder means clumpy nails if they don't buff it down correctly-which he didn't. It was if he wasn't sure exactly how to do this SNS, the nails on my left hand turned out about double the size in thickness as my right hand. At the end he showed me how thick the powder is and tried to tell me it makes it difficult... well if your powder is trash then get rid of it and don't use it on customers. I don't recommend getting SNS here, stick with the gel. Probably won't be coming back here. read more

Called before hand to ask how they cleaned/sanitized their tools used for a manicure. I was told they autoclave (medical grade sterilization) all their tools before they use them on a client. The nail tech had to blow on the nail clippers to get a nail out of the clippers before he used them on my hands. Thankfully he didn't break any skin on my hands. His work station (and maybe 3 of the other work stations that weren't in use) were definitely not wiped down. The work station I was sat at was dusty with powder that I'm pretty sure was someone else's filed nails because it didn't look like the powder they use for acrylic nails. The staff was a lot friendlier than some of the previous nail places I went to and a lot less cleaner. This happened back in September/October 2019, hopefully they've improved since then. read more

The only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is that the man who I assume is the owner is very nice and is willing to do what he can so you leave happy..... but it was impossible for me to leave happy after my experience. I asked for dip nails and was seated promptly. The nail tech started to drill around my whole nail including very very close to my cuticles and nicked me several times to the point of bleeding, each time carrying on as if it were nothing. At this point I thought there's no way I'd come back here but I carried on with the manicure hoping it would be worth it. It unfortunately was not. The tips of my nails were completely uneven and the job he had done drilling down the dip was also uneven and bubbly. When I expressed disappointment with the owner, he filed the tips down and tried to drill them down thinner and more evenly..... unfortunately that meant there was very little color left, and you can see my nail through it. Even though it still didn't turn out well, I appreciate his commitment to trying to make it right. But what I can't get over is the nail technician, instead of acknowledging that he wasn't as careful as he should have been, blamed the cuts and nicks on my cuticles/skin as a result of my dry cuticles... huh? Plenty of technicians have dealt with these dry-ish cuticles... nick free, no blood. After all of this, I begrudgingly paid the $35 plus tip for subpar nails because I truly just wanted to get out of there. I genuinely don't like leaving unsatisfactory reviews but I couldn't leave it alone when I started bleeding again from one of the cuticle cuts, a full day later. read more

Very beautiful brand new nail salon! Big new leather massage chairs! Easy listening pop music! Paul takes pride in his work! Treated very politely & they don't chatter amongst each other in front of their clients, like some other salon ladies do. Water falls & Koi Pond throughout length of salon! Lovely contemporary decor! Andy, Jamie and Hannah give the most awesome pedicures and are very accommodating when I ask them to press deep during the massage part....my eyes literally roll into the back of my head. Tan was responsible for my SNS manicure. I have had several over the last couple of decades but his was by far the best and he has a great sense of humor. Best manicure ever. Deanna, the receptionist, is the most incredible, accommodating, cheeriest and helpful person I have ever dealt with at a salon. Nice nail salon but I got a male nail tech who had NO customer service skills. I get a gel manicure, he wrapped my nails then sent me to the pedicure chair. I couldn't use my hands and he didn't offer to start the massage chair. After a while I asked if we could take the wraps off and he said NO. But then they dried out and fell off. So he then said "just take them off" I saw other people being offered water and had friendly nail techs. This guy never offered anything. In addition he had a long sharp thumb nail that kept digging into my skin. He definitely doesn't enjoy his job. The manicure and pedicure came out fine but I felt like I was a huge bother to him. I went here to get an SNS powder fill, not a soak off. I didn't have an appt but they got me in after an hour wait. I will also say this isnt my normal salon. The tech talked me into a soak off any way. Fine. Then proceeded to make me feel bad for being fat. Then didnt get all the previous product off my nails before applying new tips (the reason I didnt want a soak off to begin with), and got mad when the tips didnt stick. He did the dip. Fine. The entire process I kept looking at my nails because I didn't like them. Everytime I did he said. Dont worry they're fine I will fix it. At some point he pointed our he had been doing this for 28 years. Then later complained about the amount of work techs do and cautioned me against becoming one. He completely trashed my natural nails.and there is Weird flat areas on some of the nails. Also, I asked for coffin shape and got..... not that. Lastly when it came time for the cuticle oil he used a giant dropper and put 5 manicures worth per hand and then told me to rub it in. I had an appt at 11 but was made to wait 20 minutes. Once seated, I had a pedicure where the technician cut me twice - enough to draw good stream of blood. He continued to try and cut my bleeding cuticle and I had to tell him to stop. He told me to be more careful. Sorry - what? I then had a manicure that was one of the worst I have had. I asked about the cleanliness of the tools and he assured me that they cleaned the tools between appointments, but saw no evidence of this. Never again.. read more
