I used to frequent Andy's a few years ago when I was tired of being unhappy with my nails and going from place to place trying to find a decent one. A friend recommended Andy's and I liked it. I stopped going for awhile because of the long waits. Even if you make an appointment you are still going to wait smh. I recently ran into the issue again with not being happy with my nails so I decided to go back to Andy's after being away for almost 2 years. Still the same great service and the two times I've been back, I've been very happy. They do such a great job it is worth the wait times. I will say that if you don't make an appointment and you go on busy days, you will be waiting at LEAST an hour. I had an appointment on a Saturday and still waited 30 minutes. After waiting, getting a gel mani and spa pedi, my total time spent there was 2 hours. So be prepared to spend a couple of hours for your service. The wait is worth it to me to have good, quality service. They have tons of nail stations and pedicure chairs. It's a pretty huge salon. The girls at check-in are very nice and organized. Once you make an appointment, your name stays in their system. Like I said, it's had almost been two years since I've been to Andy's and they still had my phone number in the system. They send you a reminder text a few days before. And they called me on the day of to remind me again. I usually get an add-on like a scrub or wax with my pedicure. Even with how busy they always are, I never feel that the techs are rushing. They take their time and make you feel relaxed. I am only leaving off one star because of the wait times. Just be sure to make an appointment or go on a random Tuesday afternoon (I did this and didn't have to wait at all) But again, the wait is worth it if you walk out happy with your nails and toes. read more

I'm very sad to say that I won't be going back. I've been going to them since middle school and i'm 24 now. I got french tips on my toes and fingers and was charged 200$. I have never ever been charged that much. If says on the paper 60 for acrylic and 10$ for french tip. but she told me it was 90 for my nails and 110 for my feet. I also didn't even receive a pedicure. she soaked my feet in water for 2 mins while she cleaned brushes, drained the water and immediately started on my toes. She cut my big toe so bad i had to wait 30 minutes to continue. I even called to ask how it was that much and she wouldn't tell me. Tina also didn't do my nails right and complained when I wanted it fixed and i've never ever asked to get them fixed before for that very reason. I use to see Tim or Phoenix and I would get insane bedazzled nails and they were less then 100. I bel they charged me extra because they just wanted too, and there cash machine wasn't working but still put a fee on my payment for using card. But THERE cash machine wouldn't work. So disappointing because I love Andy. But i will never be back. read more

I went to Andy's Nails on Rockville Rd for the first time last Friday and showed them a picture of beautul white nails with gold tips and gold glitter at the base. I left there and my nail tech never put on ANY white gel polish. He only put gel glitter polish over an acrylic layer and my nails are all ripply and uneven in texture. I was really looking forward to going there because they're close, reasonable, and I heard they did good nail. The nail tech was very nice, but did a terrible job. This was my first time at Andy Nails - Wow. They are busy. I tried to call multiple times and no answer. Was wanting to set up an appointment for a dip manicure. Instead I drove there to see if they could get me in, nope, I had to come back at a later time. Would have been nice to know if they would answer the phone. My manicurist did a good job on my dry-ass fingers. I was hoping to see see the colors before starting on my nails but in the middle of the manicure she asked what color and presented me with so many colors to look through! That was nice, but I didn't get to look through them all like I wanted to. I picked a color quickly. This is the finished product - they have dip color on my finger tips which is weird. I'm sure it will wash off but still. So - over all 3 stars - I'm not going out of my way to get there again. read more

I normally don't do these type of things, but I am so disappointed of the service I received today at Andy nails. I've gone here two times before it and my service was great. today I just wanted to get a new set an a pedicure, my appointment was at 12 PM. I got there at 11:50 I was sat in a pedicure chair around 1210 and waited until almost 1 PM just for my pedicure to start. While getting my pedicure, my tech was texting the entire time and I didn't get out of the pedicure chair until 2 PM. I had a picture of what I wanted for my nails but since I had already been there for two hours at this point, I kind of just wanted to hurry up and get everything done so I can get on with my life, my nails are put on wrong the first time I kindly ask the tech to fix it and she did however, she was also rushing to try and get me out of the door because she knows I have been there since 12. This is what my nails were left looking like. I have two deep cuts from where the tech filled too hard. There is polish overlapping along with acrylic. I paid $95 for this when I finally got outside with natural light and saw my nails. I was very disappointed. I called Andy to let him know and he told me to come back to show him. When I came back to show him what I was unhappy with. He told me he didn't see anything wrong with them and refused to acknowledge that I had been sitting there for three hours patiently. When I asked him to fix them considering how much I spent, he told me that $95 isn't that big of a deal (which is harsh in the currently state of the economy. I'm also a single mom and it's Christmas time). He said he didn't see anything wrong with them and then commented on my nail bed shape. I've been wearing nails since I was 16, and I'll be 27 in two months. I know what a good set is and I know when its not gonna last. the last tech that did them also didn't have an issue with my request and it was a new set as well. All I wanted was somebody to take ownership and redo my nails even if wasn't possible the same day and obviously not the tech that I had before, considering she was having a rough day. Very disappointed in the service I got today and will now have to look for a whole new shop which is already hard to find in Avon. read more

I love getting my nails done and I've been loyal to my nail salon for 3 years. However I am in Indy for work and thought I would check out Andy's based on a reference. I got there and truth is it is a pretty big salon and they have a number of techs. I waited for about 15 minutes before being seen which isn't bad. It's Saturday and it's a nail salon, that's kinda normal. I got both my nails and a gel pedi and I definitely was disappointed. I got white on my toes and nails and it was horrible up close. I asked the guy who was doing my toes if he could clean them up because it looked messy and he looked stunned. The normal when painting is to go around them with a brush and acetone to have a clean polish look, he did not and seemed thrown off when I asked so I just moved on. My nail tech was a guy and his conversation first of all was not okay and trashy. He even walked up to me when I walked in and got Super close saying something like "Hey Baby". Everyone is not for the antics and you should definitely read your customer to know if they seem uncomfortable with the conversation. Not to mention while he was doing all that talking he didn't do a base coat on my gel nails and as soon as I got in the shower they started to bubble. It wasn't worth me going back because I knew it was a place I couldn't continue to go to. Great experience with technician Bonnie. Highly recommend! I walked in around 4p on a Friday with no appointment and was sat immediately. Bonnie took her time with my shellac manicure and made sure my nail beds and cuticles were perfect. When she went to apply the first coat of polish, she noticed the color I picked was more pink than I'd been looking for and offered to wipe it off and help me find another color. SO glad she did because she was right & I ended up with a color I much preferred. She even asked if I wanted a third coat and took her time to make sure I was satisfied. Very happy with my nails & will certainly be back. Make sure you bring cash if you can, & if not--let the technician who takes your card know ahead of time that you want to add a tip so they don't have to run the card twice. read more

Probably the most gross salon I have ever been in. Dirty walls, dusty stations, muck everywhere. Complete hygiene turn off when you are coming in to get your nails done. But the technician did a good job. They take card. I would give one star for location and customer service. But they did the job and did it well. So we'll land it at 3 stars. There's just something about a nice set of acrylics that I love. I recently started to get my nails done again so I'm on the journey of finding a new nail home. I was out west and Andy's Nails was high on the suggestion list so I said why not? First of all, this place is a decent size for a nail salon. Most places have 3 or 4 nail techs and a few pedicure stations. Andy's has around 6-7 ppl doing nails AND 4-5 ppl doing feet. That's a major plus right there! I walked in and was greeted promptly, and was told it'd be an hour wait for a fill. I was called back around 40 mins later, so that's good. I didn't catch my nail techs name-shame on me. When I sat down she started taking off my gel polish and asked if I got my set done there, I said no and she said " I can tell" how RUDE! She went on to fill my nails, shape them, etc. she also fixed/re-built my thumb nail that was filed a little too much on one side-which I definitely appreciated it! My complaint-I don't feel she got my fill as close to the cuticle as she could. There was still a small space between my set and my cuticle. Once she painted my nails she blended/covered the space but I still feel the fill could've been closer. I love my nails and the color I chose-I absolutely love the shape as well. I got a gel fill in for $35 with two rhinestone nails @ $15 so my total was $50. A little steep for a fill in my opinion but I'm new to the nail game so this could be accurate/good pricing? Overall I'd go back to Andy's Nails (if I were out West). I love my nails and appreciate their service! read more

The problem i was having is not having enough workers but i must say here at Andy's they have about 12 to 15 people in the place doing nails and feet.....OMG one thing i can say is they are always packed, they do take appts and they are professional. I was very disappointed since I have heard good things about this location. I called at 11:27 AM to be put on a waitlist and the receptionist said it would be about an hour until they could get me in. I showed up around 12:05 AM and decided I would just wait inside since it would only be about 20 minutes. I waited until 2:16 PM and no one has called me back yet. I wish they would've been upfront with me in the beginning that the way it would've been as long as it was. I ended up leaving and not getting my nails done which was even more disappointing because I was not willing to wait any longer. It was absolutely ridiculous. I've been a regular customer for the past few months for my acrylics. Before that it was off and on for years. I always have them do acrylics on me because they are the best in Indianapolis. My nail tech is Joey and he's a hoot to sit and talk with. Not to mention he's very creative and gives me great looking nails every time I come in for a fill. I HIGHLY/STRONGLY/DEFINITELY recommend getting an appointment if you are doing acrylics/fills. Everyone in town knows about Andy's and everyone will show up trying to get a walk in the same time you are. The price can range all around depending on what polish or embellishments you get. Went last Saturday as a walk-in not thinking about how crowded they would be on Easter weekend. When I asked them how long it would be they apologetically said it would be at least 2 hours. So, I made an appointment for today. I'm so glad I did! Marcella was my manicurist and was very warm and inviting. We spoke about her Mexican culture and how close it is to my husband's Filipino culture. By the end of the manicure, she seemed like she and I have known each other forever! I was referred to this establishment by my niece. The first time there the experience was acceptable the receptionist on the line was warm and pleasant and I thought I had finally found the place to have My biweekly nails and pedis. My experience with Kim was excellent she was fast, friendly and good I tipped her 20.00 and I was so pleased I made another appointment. Well my confirmation was sent to my phone. For my next appointment, However I was not informed that my nail tech has quit nothing was relayed until I showed up at the shop the receptionist said she attempted to call me on Martin Luther's birthday and on the day of the appointment. Those calls never happened! I work nights my phone never got a call from this lady. The last straw was they placed me with a rude lady with long lashes who jerked my hand, made no attempt at human civility and talked on the phone the entire time. She never even made eye contact and did a horrible job on my nails. I went to another nail place to have my nails redone to the tune of an additional 60.00. They have horrible customer service, don't use this facility. One star is too generous read more

The infamous Joanna B and I stopped in on a Saturday morning for some work. I needed a manicure, and Joanna needed a pedicure. One quick call and we had an appointment for 45 minutes later at Andy Nails. I was surprised by how big the place was; it looked like they had taken over two of the shops in the strip mall where they call home, and it was packed for a Saturday morning. Joanna B (she's so smart) said it must be the moms who come in for their weekend pampering. I think she was right! My manicure was fast, professional and very thorough. They took their time and did a wonderful job. I walked away with great looking hands and only spent $15 + $5 tip in total; granted, I didn't get polish or anything too fancy. Next time I'll be joining Joanna B in the comfy leather massage chair for a pedi too. I can't let her have all the fun! read more

I heard about this place from one of my friends and she highly recommended it so i decided to schedule an appointment, when I walked in it was not like I expected. I expected it to be like all the other salons I had been to, but as soon as I walked in I was impressed with the layout and design of the building. They had me sit down to get ready for my nails to be done.
