My daughter and I are trying to get rid of things that we never use anymore, so we decided to sell a few treasures in our basement that had been gathering (a WHOLE LOT of) dust. That way they can give joy to another family! We looked on Yelp to find a nearby Pawn Shop with a good reputation and Best Pawn was among the top mentions for friendliness and reasonable prices. Yelpers, you are wise as usual. Scott looked over our old, dusty electronics and gave us a reasonable price for what he could sell. He was friendly and courteous. If we find any more treasures, we'll be sure to stop at one of his 2 locations. :) read more

Most Honest upfront pawn I have ever dealt with. Also goes out of there way to remind you of your due date. Text and phone calls. These guys are not sharks like most other pawn shops I have dealt with. Would recommend to everyone and will continue to use them exclusively! read more

Had an unpopular Polaroid tablet went to two other pawn shops in the area first and they wouldn't even look the tablet up or entertain conversation, went to this location after calling first and the customer service was great ! Will definitely be a returning customer read more

It is on the pricier side, but well worth it. The farm is beautiful, the experience is fun, and it's a wonderful way to get the kids outdoors.

When I asked about strawberry plants and was told they didn't have any, I mentioned I was a first time gardener and asked if she could recommend something beginner friendly. Her response was essentially "just pick something, all you have to do is water them." When I explained again that I was new and looking for guidance, she told me she couldn't help me. As a first time gardener trying to learn, that kind of dismissiveness was discouraging. If it weren't for the lovely woman at checkout, I likely wouldn't return. I ended up going to Ed's Plant World in Brandywine where the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful to a beginner. The difference was night and day. That said, I'm giving 4 stars because the place is really awesome in terms of selection and variety. The woman in the herb section may have just been having a bad day. It's absolutely worth checking out.

Pawn shops sometimes have a bad rep. This place, wow, the owner is so friendly and professional you think you're ordering a Steak at Ruth Chris! The owner of this shop is the most honest and fairest guy I have ever encountered at a Pawn shop. You can see it in his eyes when you talk to him. He has zero attitude and seems very humble. I've been here 3 times and he has always been extremely reasonable with the stuff I was selling. Give this guy a reality tv show! Keep up the great work Scott! Really nice guy! read more
