Owner refuses to accept payments via anything other than cash when purchasing gold. Rock bottom prices offered for what he called "junk gold" that was traded towards or sold but offers nice premiums over spot for items in inventory. Owner assisted in the removal of gems on jewelery prior to trade explaining they were not jewelers and damages may occur. The end result was twisted and mangled gold remnants and two broken/ cut half carat diamonds that were outright destroyed in the removal process. Upon seeing the mess now qualified as junk gold before me the pressures to end the transaction were priority. Pressure tactics attempted as a means to hurry purchase. Statements such as "I've sold 200 onces in the time this transaction has taken" were made and now recounting sends shivers up my spine. An utter and total missed opportunity for a repeat customer. Location: situated in the hustle and bustle of Vienna, accessing parking may be a slight issue during a visit however there may be openings in the rear of building. This place is awesome. I just completed my VA CHP course there, taught by a real, current law enforcement officer. I've also been in the store a few times to check out the inventory. They have a really nice mix of new, used, vintage, and collectible firearms. I'm a beginniner and on separate visits I've interacted with three different staff members there, and they were all very friendly, informative, and attentive. I tried to buy a few ounces of silver here, the owner handles all gold and silver deals. He fully lied to my face. He told me he was selling me troy ounce pure silver, I trusted him but when I got home I realized what I had been given was neither troy ounces or pure silver. They weren't even regular ounces. When I returned for a refund he acted like I should have known better than to trust him. I probably should have. I have been a patron of this business for a few years, I have bought ammo at a reasonable price in the past and used magazines which I have no complaints about. The employees are very kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable but the owner's behavior is unacceptable. The absolute plain faced lying and cheating practices make me glad I never bought a gun from them. In the past they ran bulk deals so it made sense to buy range ammo here before going to the range, they still offer bulk deals but if you do the math its still more expensive than the ammo you can buy at the range. There is no reason to come here. I will not shop here ever again and neither should you. read more

Been meaning to post a review for VGG. I have recently discovered Vienna Gun and Gold. In the short time I have know them, I have sold some of my older and unused guns back to them which they gave me a fair price, purchased two new guns and traded in a pistol towards another pistol. The customer service has been good and knowledgeable and completing the background checks for gun purchase has been a breeze. They have a lot of inventory and gun accessories. If they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you and it usually arrives within a week. I was able to order 9mm FMJ practice rounds for the range for a great price and ordered hard to find 5.7 and 6.8 rounds as well. No more running to the gun show to grab these items anymore. Will definitely be back for my pistol, rifle and shotgun needs. read more

This is by far one of the worst gun stores in the DMV area. I made my first firearm purchase here and have bought three in total. First Glock i purchased was used and they sold it to me as new price. A couple months later I took it to sell it back and they gave me 20% of what I paid for it. And then I bought an AR style pistol for $800 and a scope for 250 totally more than $1050 with tax. They tried very hard and told me the history about the gun and sold it to me. When I took it back to them to to try to sell it, they offered me $250 for it. Comical. Man I miss the guys from Vienna Arsenal. They had WAY better customer service than some of these guys at Vienna G&G. The salesman that helped me with my purchase, did a great job and notify me when my identification processed through. Upon picking my item up, a short man with long hair, tried to prevent me from picking up my already paid for item. I went with a friend to trade/sell his ar style pistol that he had purchased from here. When he went purchase originally he paid over $1000 for it, and he came to get a trade in value or selling value they valued it at $250 which is also just cost of the scope so when he asked for a trade in value they claimed they didn't know the make and model of the gun but when he bought it they knew everything about it and persuaded him to buy this ! Transfer fees and mechandise prices for current-inventory are well in line with market prices for the northern Virginia area. Online sale. Totally misrepresented rifle. Neglected to show the left side of the receiver, which had non-factory holes. An employee assured me by phone that the rifle was completely original. When I received it I discovered that in addition to the extra holes the rifle was reblued and had a missing screw which also was not shown in pictures. Refused to answer emails or voicemails when I complained. This is the most dishonest dealer I have ever dealt with, and I have bought many guns online. Buyers beware. read more

I walked in here looking to buy my first firearm. I came on a Saturday when it was a little packed and I walked around for about 5 mins before someone was available to help me. I asked Juan to check out the glocks in stock and he gladly helped me. Since this is my first handgun I knew I just wanted something simple nothing too fancy so I went with Glock and he showed me the different models and I have large hands so I didn't find one that suited me. So I ordered a Glock 47 with him, I paid that same day and a week later I got a call from them saying it was ready to be picked up. I came on a Monday, I did the background check and answered all the questions on an iPad and finished everything in 15 mins. 15 mins and then Juan gave me the thumbs up that I got approved, handed me my brand new gun and I was out of there.
