Based on the good reviews on Yelp, I asked Ovi to give me an estimate to replace some tiles in my home. He came by promptly, gave me an estimate, and we agreed upon a price. He also agreed to start the job in three weeks from the date he provided the estimate. Three weeks later, I contacted him, and he said he needed another week to start the job. I agreed. Another week rolled around, and I called him again, only to be told he would need another week to start the work. I was getting annoyed, but I agreed because I had already waited several weeks. Then, on the day that he was supposed to start the job, he came by the house and looked at the tiles again and said that he would need to rent a larger tile cutter from Floor & Decor. I thought this was strange considering he already knew what the job entailed, but I said fine. I then got a text from him about 45 minutes later saying that Floor & Decor did not have the larger tile cutter so he could not do the job. So after I waited five weeks for him to start the work after he agreed to take the job, he bailed out, and I still don't know why. It makes no sense that he would have agreed to do the work if he didn't have (or couldn't get) the right equipment. He took care of garbage and clean every day including demolition day. Noise was minimal, I live in an apartment complex and didn't have any complaint. Ovi is awesome! We had a dated, 2000's Home Depot glass backsplash that we wanted to be replaced. I found Ovi based on the excellent reviews here, and on Angi/Angie's List and his work exceeded our expectations. The old backsplash was a lot of work to remove, plus, we had some areas that had backsplash, but we didn't want it there anymore. Ovi expertly removed the drywall that had the old backsplash, patched and finished the new drywall, and installed the new tile in one day! Because of the amount of work with the drywall, Ovi came back the next day and grouted everything, cleaned up all surfaces very nicely, and was done in less than an hour. I had a full renovation of my primary bathroom, which included demoing existing floor tile and shower tile, doing additional plumbing for a new shower (he brought his own plumber), and then doing full floor-to-ceiling tile of every wall. Really a crazy amount of work, but he got it done and it looks fantastic. He took extra care to ensure everything was as level as possible, even redoing some of his previous work when he realized the shower walls weren't perfectly straight. He worked diligently every day he was here and asked plenty of questions to make sure the end result was exactly what I was looking for. Best Quality Tile may be the best contractors I ever worked with. I needed my bathroom redone immediately and Ovi came to the rescue. I had 3 estimates and this fell in the middle. But he came highly recommended for his workmanship so I hired him. I realized early on how lucky I was to have him. He helped pick out the tiles and all materials needed to do the entire bathroom, and kept me on budget. He was on time and worked a solid 8 hours with maybe short lunch. He never complained about having to work in such a small space (standard 5x7 condo bathroom) and kept to his schedule. The bath turned out better than I dreamed and at the estimate he gave me. We were on a tight timeline and he squeezed us in (even coming over the day he got home from vacation so we'd meet our deadline). 2. Results looked fantastic. We have an apartment that needed the bathrooms re-tiled after the tenants moved out. It was quite a job. The bathrooms had not been re modeled in decades.
