Had an amazing pre-game here! I just wish I could remember all of it. We had the Tex Mex charcuterie. So good! Huge portions. 4 of us nibbled and didn't finish it. I had A Lot of cocktails I'm guessing they were delicious bc I had 4ish. The waitresses were so friendly and the rounded bar was so good for socializing. It's valet only; I think it cost $10. read more

This place is such a scam. Been here twice and both times they charged a 17% tax. Asked management about it the second time and they apologized. They told us they can fix the charge and even offered us free shots. I then started to tell the other customers about it, and they ended up demanding a refund from management. The manager was lying and told everyone else there was a glitch in the system. Very unethical business. Be aware of your receipt!!! read more

LOOK AT YOIR RECEIPT!! They are charging 16.5% tax on bottle and possibly drinks and food too, which is illegal. We told the waiter and he said there's nothing he can do. They have been report to TABC and the Texas comptroller. read more

I finally had the opportunity to try this bar. There is valet parking, which is the only option I believe unless you find street parking. Upon walking in, the bar is beautiful, there's outdoor seating equipped with heaters for when it's really chilly out. I came during happy hour, so all of the signature cocktails were $10, which was a pleasant surprise as I didn't quite expect this place to have HH. I had the 12 Hour Jet Lag, which is their take on a Lychee Martini, and it was very good. Instead of Vodka they used Gin. I then switched over to Don Julio Reposado and they have a cute ice cube. All of the servers were very nice and welcoming. They were all super helpful. I would definitely recommend and revisit. read more

I wasn't blown away, but I'd give it another try in a few months after they've been open a while. The decor is really nice. I didn't love the ambiance. I came Sunday around 2pm. It felt like they wanted to make it a day party but to me the way it's set up is really a cocktail lounge. Music was super loud and upbeat. I was expecting something lively but just seemed like conflicting identify. The parking lot is very small with no self park options other than possibly a few neighborhood spots nearby. $9 for valet and $20 for "vip" The bartenders weren't the most pleasant. And for automatic 20% gratuity, I'd appreciate service that's more personable. I got a pumpkin spice expresso martini which was delicious. My friend got a class of rose. The rose had a milky color and texture. Both of them were poured from a tap. I would expect a glass poured from a bottle, and a shaken drink for $16. We left pretty quickly. Not impressed read more

At first glance this place was great! From their outdoor lighting to their live music. Ambiance was great & service was better. I did want to note that we were unable to sit inside due to needing a reservation and majority of these tables needed minimum payment of anywhere from $200 or more! For a place that isn't a club and you're paying for a table to just sit and drink is ridiculous. This play is over hyped and try's too hard to be a club/lounge. Disappointed with the limited seating. Having no choice but to sit outside. Once we received our drinks which were an espresso martini and a carajillo. I was disappointed and upset that for $16 this would be ATLEAST decent enough to drink. Drinks were terrible and not worth the price. I could not even finish my drink. As for my friend's espresso martini, the taste of the "foam" was soapy and bitter. For the same price I would much rather go to Ciel than here. I took a look at my coaster that they had given us with our drinks and noticed that these coasters were MOLDY! It's insane to think they hand out moldy coasters. This place was recommended by a friend for birthday dinner. First of all, not easy place to reach. Hidden away with an obscure sign on West 11th street, so if you miss it, it is difficult to U turn to it. Secondly it's got no parking. Valet is $9! Then when you finally arrive, the menu is minimal selection of cheese boards. I'm shocked at the $30-40 price tags for skimpy dips and few quesadillas. If you looking for good alcohol, the selection is pathetic. Only 2 wines availableare a red and a white (California Chardonnay). Room temperature! I will never go back. Went with a group of friends here last night (a Saturday) for the first time. Probably got there around 10:30 or so - place was PACKED. The outside had the only available seating, and they at least had plastic covers and heaters to keep everyone warm. Drinks were good - I ordered a couple of Old Fashions and my group enjoyed their espresso martinis and other cocktails. And service was decent given how many people were sitting in the section. The downsides were prices of cocktails, the totally packed inside and having to wait in long lines for the bathroom. The place has a cool esthetic, lively music (think more dancing, upbeat) and fun atmosphere, but the packed crowd of people made it really hard to "enjoy" any of those things. Gives the impression of an "Instagram Bar." I'd like to come back at a less crowded time to see if I enjoy it more. read more

Love the atmosphere but be prepared for like any new bar, to be packed. If you wanna skip the line for the BATHROOM, be prepared to have cash. The line takes about 20 minutes. This is my second Saturday consecutively, but with bottle service and multiple rounds of drinks and shots...I didn't appreciate the disrespect experienced with the security guard checking ID's. I went to the door, to get my girls joining us...once we left security didn't allow the BIRTHDAY GIRL back in. I had to get my server/waiter to get them back in with no problems. The servers in the section were as attentive as possible, but probably need more help. I understand their is system and processes but please, check your tone and don't disrespect me. I requested to speak to a manger, and it's been WELL OVER an hour with no visit of anyone that might be qualified to be a manager. read more

Really delicious Tex max plate! Only $31 for so much food, definitely serves at least 2 people as a light dinner. I got the espresso martini which was great. Can't complain there. Service was so nice and the ambiance was good. Will be coming again! Just be aware that it is valet parking but I parked on the street. read more

I visited this new bar on a Tuesday night so it was very empty but the service was so great. They have lots of lights and great for Contant purposes, but overall a beautiful space. On Tuesdays they have a $30 meat and cheese board with your choice of a bottle of house red or white wine. The Matcha martini was delicious. DO NOT..... I REPEAT.... DO NOT VALET PARK. They will ask if you want a " VIP PARK " for $20 or a regular park for $10. I opt for the basic parking $10. I simply would not return to this establishment because of the Valet service company they were horrible. I got into a verbal argument with a Middle Eastern meathead "manager" in the parking lot about ripping people off and charging double. Apparently, I was not the only one it happened to. A young lady was waiting for her vehicle in the same situation as I was in and she wasn't too happy. BTW the drinks were subpar and overpriced. We were looking forward to this place since it's down the street from our place but it didn't happen. We will continue going to IKTO, way better cocktails unless you prefer the pretentious crowd of Best Regards. read more

Popped in here for a Labor Day get together and I was immediately impressed with the decor and ambiance. Gorgeous space with lots of seating. They do have waitstaff that come to some seating areas but after 10 minutes of no service, we decided to head to the bar to get out drinks. I ordered the No Paper Trail which sounded like a super refreshing mezcal based cocktail but the bartender accidentally served me a ranch water instead which I accepted because the wait was pretty long and I didn't want to make a fuss. I love how diverse this lounge was, we came in around 9:30 pm and were able to get one of the last few tables that weren't reserved on the patio. Between 2 of us we spent $146 (loved the matcha martini) on just drinks so it is pricey but really great vibes so it's a cool spot especially if you want to mingle. Cute bar! Definitely a good place for a photo op. Came here on a Saturday around 9-10pm, bar was full along with all of the tables. Music is a good vibe as it makes you feel like you're at a lounge. The matcha martini and mezcal margarita were a hit! Strong and good! But be careful on ordering doubles. My fiancé ordered a double bourbon on the rocks not knowing it would cost us $56 for one and he ordered two rounds. They also charged his drinks extra for "on the rocks". So for two dbls, it was $112. Quite pricey compared to other bars. Also, I didn't know the bartenders chose their own tips. I closed out and signed not knowing they had already chosen 30% for tip which I added an extra 20% on top. Pretty conniving for bad service since the majority of the time all 5 bartenders stayed at the back on the bar where the bar back was. We had to flag someone down each time we needed a drink and mind you, the bar area isn't that big. Overall, good drinks and you must try it at least once. read more

This is my second time coming here, and it was disappointing. The place wasn't as busy as it would be on a weekend, but my date and I sat for about 10 mins when we decided to go to the bar to order since no one came up to us. There was only one bartender there, but again, it wasn't too busy, and she had an attitude. The food and drinks were good as usual, but the bartender being short with us and seemed like she did not want to be there, which made the night uncomfortable and created a bad first impression on my date. girls night out. showed up about 8pm on a Friday night. plenty of seating outside with the heaters so it was perfect climate on the patio area. drinks were really good. def come fed bc of the small selection of food. great table service throughout the night. does get pretty full/crowd by 11. theee absolute best restroom service in town or world I'd say - this sounds funny. the normal busboys were in the restroom area helping move the line along. absolute genius idea - game changer. I visited on a weekday around 5:00. Parking was valet only at $9. I tried the 12 hour jet lag and the no paper trail cocktails and both were pretty good. They have an extensive cocktail menu and offer $10 happy hour specials. We sat on the patio and there were heaters available. There have also been incidents of intoxicated patrons being rude, pushing through people at the bar, and creating unnecessary tension with other women who were simply there to enjoy their evening. It's disappointing because this place used to feel elegant and welcoming. I genuinely hope management takes notice and works to restore the classy atmosphere that made it special in the first place.

Warm, crispy, and paired with Nutella and caramel. What really made the experience stand out though was our bartender, Manny. He was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down, had such a great personality, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that kind of service is hard to find. They have a vast selection of cocktails separated by flavors (smoky, sweet, tropical, etc.). We ultimately had three rounds and all of the drinks were quite good. The bartenders were great, they whipped the drinks up quickly and were friendly. Overall I had a great time at Worcester's Annex - definitely a place I would return to next time I'm in Houston.

She then text our friends group and said we all had to come together and we did just that. She made reservations in advance as this place is popular thanks to recent Michelin Bib Gourmand awards as well as many other accolades. Walk ins are welcome as well. Our reservation was later in the evening so after a night of bar hopping, we ride shared in which I think is one of the best options as parking is limited here or you have to find street parking in the neighborhood. This place is literally a house turned into a restaurant. Inside is just multiple rooms with a couple of tables. It makes for a unique, intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night. In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston. I will be back.

The pork's texture was simply magical, and the flavors well-balanced. On the side, we had the Fingerlingin Good potatoes, and they lived up to their name: pleasantly crispy and bursting with savory goodness. Desserts: the Olive Oil Cake was a dream: incredibly moist and tender with vanilla richness and a kiss of lemon. The Black Bottom Pie was not my favorite. I would the salt to be too much and couldn't eat more than 2 bites because of it. Service: warm, gracious, attentive, and efficient. As for ambiance, this is where the restaurant misses the mark for me. It's in an old house, and when we walked in, that's exactly what I smelled: old house. Still, if you're looking for a unique, creative menu that delivers on flavors, add nobie's to your bingo card.

GM Kevin, should review the footage of the private party event that happened yesterday for the table of 17 & definitely reprimand, retrain, and reconsider some of this staff. Once he left, the night appeared to go downhill.
