This place is such a scam. Been here twice and both times they charged a 17% tax. Asked management about it the second time and they apologized. They told us they can fix the charge and even offered us free shots. I then started to tell the other customers about it, and they ended up demanding a refund from management. I finally had the opportunity to try this bar. There is valet parking, which is the only option I believe unless you find street parking. Upon walking in, the bar is beautiful, there's outdoor seating equipped with heaters for when it's really chilly out. I came during happy hour, so all of the signature cocktails were $10, which was a pleasant surprise as I didn't quite expect this place to have HH. I had the 12 Hour Jet Lag, which is their take on a Lychee Martini, and it was very good. Instead of Vodka they used Gin. I then switched over to Don Julio Reposado and they have a cute ice cube. All of the servers were very nice and welcoming. They were all super helpful. I would definitely recommend and revisit. read more

It felt like they wanted to make it a day party but to me the way it's set up is really a cocktail lounge. Music was super loud and upbeat. The parking lot is very small with no self park options other than possibly a few neighborhood spots nearby. $9 for valet and $20 for "vip" The bartenders weren't the most pleasant. And for automatic 20% gratuity, I'd appreciate service that's more personable. I got a pumpkin spice expresso martini which was delicious. My friend got a class of rose. At first glance this place was great! From their outdoor lighting to their live music. Ambiance was great & service was better. I did want to note that we were unable to sit inside due to needing a reservation and majority of these tables needed minimum payment of anywhere from $200 or more! For a place that isn't a club and you're paying for a table to just sit and drink is ridiculous. This play is over hyped and try's too hard to be a club/lounge. Disappointed with the limited seating. Having no choice but to sit outside. Once we received our drinks which were an espresso martini and a carajillo. I was disappointed and upset that for $16 this would be ATLEAST decent enough to drink. Drinks were terrible and not worth the price. I could not even finish my drink. As for my friend's espresso martini, the taste of the "foam" was soapy and bitter. For the same price I would much rather go to Ciel than here. I took a look at my coaster that they had given us with our drinks and noticed that these coasters were MOLDY! It's insane to think they hand out moldy coasters. This place was recommended by a friend for birthday dinner. First of all, not easy place to reach. Hidden away with an obscure sign on West 11th street, so if you miss it, it is difficult to U turn to it. Secondly it's got no parking. Valet is $9! Then when you finally arrive, the menu is minimal selection of cheese boards. I'm shocked at the $30-40 price tags for skimpy dips and few quesadillas. If you looking for good alcohol, the selection is pathetic. Only 2 wines availableare a red and a white (California Chardonnay). Room temperature! I will never go back. The outside had the only available seating, and they at least had plastic covers and heaters to keep everyone warm. Drinks were good - I ordered a couple of Old Fashions and my group enjoyed their espresso martinis and other cocktails. And service was decent given how many people were sitting in the section. The downsides were prices of cocktails, the totally packed inside and having to wait in long lines for the bathroom. The place has a cool esthetic, lively music (think more dancing, upbeat) and fun atmosphere, but the packed crowd of people made it really hard to "enjoy" any of those things. Gives the impression of an "Instagram Bar." I'd like to come back at a less crowded time to see if I enjoy it more. read more

Love the atmosphere but be prepared for like any new bar, to be packed. If you wanna skip the line for the BATHROOM, be prepared to have cash. The line takes about 20 minutes. This is my second Saturday consecutively, but with bottle service and multiple rounds of drinks and shots...I didn't appreciate the disrespect experienced with the security guard checking ID's. I went to the door, to get my girls joining us...once we left security didn't allow the BIRTHDAY GIRL back in. I had to get my server/waiter to get them back in with no problems. The servers in the section were as attentive as possible, but probably need more help. I understand their is system and processes but please, check your tone and don't disrespect me. I visited this new bar on a Tuesday night so it was very empty but the service was so great. They have lots of lights and great for Contant purposes, but overall a beautiful space. Popped in here for a Labor Day get together and I was immediately impressed with the decor and ambiance. Gorgeous space with lots of seating. They do have waitstaff that come to some seating areas but after 10 minutes of no service, we decided to head to the bar to get out drinks. I ordered the No Paper Trail which sounded like a super refreshing mezcal based cocktail but the bartender accidentally served me a ranch water instead which I accepted because the wait was pretty long and I didn't want to make a fuss. The matcha martini and mezcal margarita were a hit! Strong and good! But be careful on ordering doubles. My fiancé ordered a double bourbon on the rocks not knowing it would cost us $56 for one and he ordered two rounds. They also charged his drinks extra for "on the rocks". So for two dbls, it was $112. Quite pricey compared to other bars. Also, I didn't know the bartenders chose their own tips. I closed out and signed not knowing they had already chosen 30% for tip which I added an extra 20% on top. Pretty conniving for bad service since the majority of the time all 5 bartenders stayed at the back on the bar where the bar back was.
