Came here for a cocktail before dinner on a Saturday evening around 6 o'clock. Easy parking and the bar was super cute. There was a birthday party while we were there but service was still quick. I had my standard tequila neat, but my husband said the espresso martini was great. I was also super into the 90s playlist that they had going on. I don't live nearby but I will certainly go back if I am in the area.

This place is a hidden gem! The ambiance is amazing for a date night or just a chill place with friends. The bartenders are amazing and very welcoming!

Went to Rabbit Hole for a drink before going to dinner. When you walk in the place has nice vibes and friendly mixologists. I asked for something not too sweet and a little boozy, and they recommended a Kentucky Buck. I had never had one, but wow it really hit the spot. It had fresh strawberries and was bourbon based I believe. I'd definitely go back to see what other cocktails I'd like, especially since it's really close by me.

Found Rabbit Hole searching for a place to grab a drink after dinner. Rabbit Hole had a decent crowd without being shoulder to shoulder. There is plenty of bar seating, tables, and small nook with couches near the Christmas tree. Can't hate a place that played 90's R&B and hip hop. Rabbit Hole is a good neighborhood bar to hang out and sip on some cocktails. A plus for having a private parking lot.

This new bar in the Heights is amazing! They were still in their opening phases and it was a great experience. The decor is AMAZING! It's a nice space for an intimate night out. The bartender gave a great description of their drinks. The syrups that they use our house made and the drinks to me were perfect. I definitely will be back when I'm in the area.

We stumbled upon The Rabbit Hole last night and loved every minute of it. The space is intimate and moody -- chandeliers, mirrors, and just the right touch of Halloween charm right now -- making it perfect for date night or cocktails with friends. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and clearly take pride in their craft. Every cocktail was thoughtful and beautifully presented. We tried the Black Potion and the Espresso Martini, both perfectly balanced -- smooth and sophisticated. Add to all that, a fantastic playlist that appealed to everyone. We will be back - likely tonight!

The Rabbit Hole has been on my list for a while now and I finally got the chance to check it out with some friends on a Saturday night. It's located just off of North Durham Street in the heights slightly away from other heights area bars in a smaller bungalow style building. The inside has a large bar and a few smaller tables. The menu has a variety of fruit forward drinks with a variety of spirits from vodka, gin and tequila. Signature cocktails are on the sweeter end. They also have classic cocktails. Worth noting they have $7 espresso martinis until 7pm. I ordered one of the bartenders signature drinks (off menu) with gin and muddled raspberries which was good but a bit sweet for my taste. My friend really enjoyed the espresso martini. For my second drink I got a dirty gin martini which was good but could have been a bit dirtier with more olive juice. Overall, love the vibes, service was great and drinks were decent. I'm excited to see them continue to refine their menu and offerings. Definitely would come back.

Nice neighborhood bar! Large bar area with maybe 12 stools but if it gets crowded you will eventually be standing only. The whole place is a nice contemporary classy vibe. Can't wait to come back in the evenings to see both bartenders in their element; cool guys! No food.

Cozy bar with limited parking, a nicely crafted drink menu. Service is slow so be patient. Fairly priced.

I wasn't too impressed the first time, and this visit certainly confirmed my initial thoughts. For La Lucha's Happy Hour, you get a choice between 2 types of oysters ($1.50 each). These were great - do this on a weekday before 6pm and you should be able to grab a table without a reservation. Barely even after we started eating the oysters, the waitress was already asking if we wanted to order more, instead of allowing us to just enjoy our food without interruptions. The menus they gave at our table were inconsistent and had different menu items. I had to ask for clarification if the redfish was on the menu since it wasn't on two of the three menus given to us. So, quality control was a miss. Rest of the menu... is limited. Everything was so greasy, from the fried chicken, the redfish, and shrimp tacos. * Red fish with pecans - 6/10. The fish did not taste like it was seasoned with salt. It was well cooked, not dry at all, but it lacked any sort of seasoning aside from the butter and pecans on top. * Shrimp Tacos - 4/10. I think I prefer Taco Bell over this one. The shell was greasy, not crisp (felt like it was stale), and I was confused with the combination of American Cheese and shrimp. They also added hot sauce or spicy salsa in the tacos - so a warning if you can't handle spice (not mentioned on the menu). * Half Fried Chicken - 5/10. The chicken was moist. Been here once before and it was quite dry, so I'm glad this was cooked well. You get 2 thighs, a wing, and a drumstick (4pc). Again, there was a lack of any seasoning on the chicken itself & the exterior. Sadly, the sauce that we picked was not the best either - oyster mayo. It would've been nice to try the others, but the half order came with one sauce. The seasonal jam that was available was the peach jam. It went well with the biscuits (half order comes with 2 biscuits, any extra is $1.50). For my people who get cold in restaurants, I would recommend bringing a light jacket since they turn the A/C up.

This is a bit of a dated review, but we came here for a Valentine's dinner as a special occasion. We got seats at the bar counter behind the fire (which to me was the best seat in the house) so we could be close to the action. One thing you'll notice is that the place is quite loud, I think which owes to the low ceilings (so don't expect like a quiet and romantic vibe). The meal started out great with the bread and butter - bread was sourced from Magnol, which was a huge green flag to start. The oysters were extremely fresh and absolutely delicious. We also had a dish with tuna over crispy rice which was my fiancee's favorite of the night. My personal favorite was the salad (I know that is crazy to say at a restaurant that specializes in live fire cooking) - but the way they zested all different types of citrus/lemons, peppers, chiles, and the way the herbs they put into it, created what was one of the most memorable salads I have ever had. All in all the food was excellent. Service was great (the night we were there, Max Lappe was there sending out food to customers himself). I do kind of wish the atmosphere was a little more quiet. With that said, expect to spend around $200pp (we did share a bottle of wine though).

I would like to preface, this isn't a cheap quick dinner restaurant but I highly recommend coming at least once. We found it on the Michelin guide. I love the inside of the restaurant, the layout is fun and intimate. *grilled oysters were good. The flavor from the n'duja with the bits of pecan was something I would never think to pair. Great start! * elk tartare was surprisingly amazing. I always find tartare to be a tough dish to make outstanding and with elk I was hesitant to try but happy we tried it. The plate was cleaned by the time we finished. The cracker was light and paired well with it. * maitake mushrooms were so good that we had to split it evenly so no one got an unfair amount lol The sauce is like a coffee/caramel/chocolately savory sauce. Mt description doesn't do it justice. It's umami but has a caramelized feel. Just get it! * pork chop was the best pork chop we've had. We typically order steak over pork chops at restaurants but heard great things. Tender and flavorful. I will say it's a very rich dish so be mindful of that but highly recommended * grits, this was the dark horse. It was our favorite tapa. We laugh bc we didn't think grits would be the fav, out of all the amazing dishes. But the beef cheek underneath the silky grits... YUM! I'll be craving them *basque cheesecake was good but not the best we've had. But it's also hard to compete with all the other dishes we had

At the host stand, Paul was actually there! He must have seen my fan girly eyes get big because he immediately looked away and down at the stand... awkward.... thankfully my fan girl immediately recognized the red flags and shut down my enthusiasm (although I'm pretty sure he already heard me tell my friend "that's him" ) . The host standing beside him was very friendly and showed us to our seats. The wait staff was very efficient with the perfect amount of "checking in" and sparkling water refills. My gal pal and I went for the tasting menu: 1st course - aquechile, 5*! My favorite dish of the night. So refreshing and even though it was dark in the restaurant, the phone captured the vibrant green sauce. Delicious! 2nd course - headcheese, 3.5* Interesting dish, very unique. 3rd course - Tamal, 3*. It was ok, nothing outstanding in terms of flavor, but not my least favorite dish. 4th course - lap cheong and beans, 4*. Wonderful savory flavor and a generous portion. Beans were perfect. 5th course - carrots, 2.5*, not quite a solid 3 mainly because they were bland. Pretty to look at but unmemorable...not bad, just not anything. We didn't understand this dish. 6th course - brisket curry, 4.5* This was my 2nd favorite bite (my gal pals #1). That sauce was slap ya mama good! So satisfying. 7th course - dessert trio, 4*. A great set of bites and all different but work well together. We appreciate the waiter giving us a direction of what to eat 1st, 2nd, 3rd. I will definitely be back to try the fried chicken!
