I decided to try this Best Wash location because I didn't feel like driving to Fairview Heights. I didn't go there with the expectations of making the Attendant my personal slave, either. I take my baskets from & to my car, all by my adult-self! I pulled into the parking lot and found all of the Handicapped parking spots taken. Later, I found out that none of the 4 people who parked in those spots were disbled. I parked, opened the car door and became overwhelmed with the smell of skunk weed and the sound of booming radios. I should've turned around and went right back home! I didn't. This Laundromat is abused. A sweet Attendant was on shift while I was there. She cleaned all of the unused machines & dryers twice. She mopped the floors twice. It didn't make one bit of difference. My clothes had a sour-like smell after they were washed. That means that the washing machines needed to be cleaned. There were no folding tables. I didn't feel safe & the Laundromat is in need of a serious upgrade. This my first & last trip to this location. read more

I have been coming here for quite awhile and for the most part enjoy the experience except for the fact that they no longer offer to carry my baskets in; the TV is too loud; & customers blare their stereos in the parking lot -- all minor ... Today it was a totally different story! I took about five or so minutes getting my stuff out of the car. I had two rather heavy baskets and three bags of stuff... The attendant was standing outside by the door with a customer the whole time. At no time did she walk the ten feet over to me and inform me that I needed to have a mask on... It was obvious I was not wearing one while I was taking stuff out of the car... It wasn't until everything out of the car, & I straightened up and looked at her that she hollered at me. I couldn't hear what she was saying, and she still couldn't walk over and meet me halfway at least and talk to me... When I finally could hear what she was saying, she argued with me about wearing a mask. I had one, but I thought it was in the wash. She said I could put my stuff in the wash, but had to sit outside and couldn't fold my clothes... While I was getting change, I stepped over to look at a sign and she came running over to me yelling that I needed to get my stuff in the wash and get out of there! I can read the sign later... It was not like I was just wasting time, I knew it would take a few seconds for the coins to drop, and my hearing would tell me when my coins were out so I could step away and finish my laundry... I wasn't planning to spend the afternoon reading a sign! So, once my laundry started, I went back home to look for my masks and found one ... when I got back, she was standing in the open doorway with her mask off... Later, when I was putting stuff in the dryer, she came up behind me close enough that if I had taken a step back, I would've bumped into her... I had mentioned something to her earlier about social distancing, and she had made some smart comment about 'here you are walking around with no mask on and concerned about social distancing'... Well! You would think, that if somebody didn't have a mask on, you would go out of your way to avoid getting too close to them! But apparently, when somebody has a mask on, social distancing is out the window... I am posting this while I'm at the laundromat... I'm sitting out in my car across from the open door while my dryer is going... I've seen her a couple times walking around inside without her mask on... When I went in to take my clothes out of the dryer and put them on hangers, the entire time she was walking around with no mask on cleaning, and one time actually came within 2 feet of me...so that's at least an hour she's been working with no mask on. And, the doors have absolutely no signs on them about wearing a mask. Don't tell me to do something when you can't be bothered following the rules yourself!! read more

I normally have a GREAT experience here. Today was quite different. There is a sign posted that they are frequently wiping down surfaces. I notice what the attendant normally does. greet people ask them if they need help.clean machines.remove lint sweep the floor. NONE of that happened today. I watched her touch everything/customers touching everything.I was there for over 2 hours . I had my own wipes for everything I touched. the attendant was washing clothes. I dropped a sock on the floor. It was dusty. Is this under new management ? I will NOT return until after the crisis is over. If one person was infected there you can bet 20 more will be. Posting a sign is not enough. I promise that I am not exaggerating. Prior to this they have been great. What hapenned today ??? read more

Since I had a lot of bedding to wash I went to the Belleville facility. Before I went in I expected the typical stereo type of a laundromat was waiting on me. Boy was I wrong! I walk up to the door with the first load and was greated at the door by the attendant who was eager to give me a hand. She told me to feel free to take a cart out to my truck if needed. Once I got everything in she asked me if this was my first time with them. She explained the layout and the different washiers and then told me I got to dry for free. What? There is nothing free today. The place was spotless and NO out of order signs. The customer service was off the chains and I recommend this place to everyone. Missy S read more

I have been coming to Best Wash for some time now, and each and every time It has been amazing. I was on the road for work and needed a laundry service due to working long hours. I set-up weekly pick-up & fold service for 2 weeks, as the end date for my job was undetermined. During the first week of service, the pickup occurred 2 hours after the scheduled timeframe and the drop off was more than an hour after the guaranteed time (unknown exactly how late as I had to leave for work) thus my clothes sat on the porch during my 10-hour work shift and I didn't have clean clothes to wear to work. I gave specific wash instructions to wash the clothes in cold water and dry on low heat; however, several of my work shirts were still shrunk leading me to believe the instructions were not followed. I called the following business day to cancel the second week of service due to the problems and I was still charged again on the set day of pick-up for the second week. I contacted the business and again explained I no longer needed the service, but the charge was not removed from my credit card. I was charged 2 more weeks for $10 each time so I called to speak with the manager, who was rude, hung up the phone on me, and refused to reverse the charges. This resulted in me having to contact my bank to avoid further unauthorized charges. I would NOT recommend this business. read more

Nicest laundromat. New washing machine couldn't get delivered today and I had 3 days worth of a family of four's laundry to do. Let's face it going to a laundromat is expensive but these people have it set up very nice and very clean. They have smaller machines for delicate loads. But I was able to wash all those clothes including all the clean up towels from cleaning up the washing machine mess for less than $15. Super helpful and polite staff. If you know nothing they help you through it all or are just pleasant while you use their equipment. Thankfully this place is close. Worth hauling all the laundry out of the house today. And pleasing to sit and wait. Super efficient equipment as well. Thank you for opening. read more
