Pros: Very new and shiny. They are really trying to make this an upscale hotel, which is nice. We liked the welcoming lobby and quiet rooms, new interior and minimalist rooms. I also like that there are restaurant options here, but not as kid-friendly I would say. Cons: There are a lot of kinks to work out. We checked in our room and were getting ready to go to the pool when a couple walked in our room. They double booked! Luckily we were clothed and just sitting around. No microwave. It's hard to travel with kids when there is no option of a microwave. No mini market. The pool area is small with limited seating. I think for a hotel this big, there should be ample seating. I really wanted to like this place, but it was just OK. It is very far from from main attractions, but we like that it's far from all the chaos. read more

I think this place is brand new, it looks like it. It is pretty and ever so clean. We were here on business and could not have been happier. Check in and out was easy. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the lobby, it is modern and comfortable. It did take about 20 minutes for our room to be ready and that never pleases me, but it was okay and the staff was nice. They had a large balcony for us and we loved it. I think the place is near the race track, I think that is what I saw out our window. One staff member Deilah was especially sweet to us. We always appreciate kindness. The room was quiet and just very comfortable. We will be back someday, Have fun. Oh, and they have a rooftop bar. It was too cold for us so we did not go, but it is pretty. read more

I got two nights stay and they are no house cleaning when I first check in they give me two bottles of water complementary since no house cleaning went to front desk and asking for more water and they told me that I only had two bottles of water complementary not everyday you get two bottles no towels change.! read more

Enjoyed the stay here for one night. Their rooftop bar was a full bar with average food, view wasn't anything to rave about. The king junior suite was nice and could easily fit 4 (sofa bed) with a slight divider for privacy. Bathroom was huge. Rooftop bar food was average. The burger left a decent impression, tasty and had nice contrast of flavors. In summary, stay was nice and facilities were new. Overall was enjoyable. read more

Had an amazing stay and I already can't wait to go back. Took a full advantage of all the amenities on this trip lol. Gym, pool, bar -restaurants- loved all of it From the moment we arrived, the staff and management were incredible--so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely on top of everything. You can tell this place is run with care. The rooms were spotless and super comfortable, everything worked perfectly (which honestly makes such a difference). The pool area was clean, relaxing, and had such a great vibe--perfect for unwinding. The restaurants were also a highlight--great food, great service, fun rooftop and drinks. Marisela was AMAZING! But the real standout? The manager--David was hands down the BEST. Friendly, knowledgeable, and created such a positive energy. First time staying here and apparently the hotel has only been opened for three months prior, so to my benefit I probably was the first to stay in the room. Let me just start off with the customer service which was exceptional from the moment we stepped in. We were greeted by almost every employee there. It felt like we were at Disneyland because everyone was happy and friendly, which set the positive vibe. Guest service was top tier!! The hotel itself was a little small but very clean and upscale, beautiful ambiance. A decent size pool, but no jacuzzi. The room was very spacious and had all the common amenities. The bed was also super comfy. We visited the rooftop bar which had a very nice view, good drinks. I wasn't a fan of the food though, which was okay. Wouldn't suggest eating at the rooftop bar. However, I do insist trying the restaurant. The restaurant was by far an experience, you definitely have to try the pasta. The chef literally came out and did the cheese wheel and cooked it right in front of us. Amazing to see and taste. Just the craftsmanship that was put into it, totally worth it. A meal for two!! Overall experience was a 10/10 we will definitely be coming back whenever we hit the horse track across the street again. I travel several times a month for work, so I've stayed at quite a few hotels in the area. This hotel opened in December 2025, and the rooms are modern, clean, and still feel very new. Initially, the pricing was a bit lower than the Le Méridien across the street, which made it an easy choice. However, rates have steadily increased and are now about the same or sometimes even slightly higher. The area is relatively safe and you can walk at the park across the street. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel because the property and rooms are very nice. That said, due to the rising room rates, I now frequently stay at Le Méridien instead for the overall value. read more

Came here for a banquet so this review is just for the banquet hall. This is a brand new hotel in the area so it looked great inside. Clean and modern. I loved all the orchids, my favorite flower. The site says they charge for parking but the lot and structure were both open without any ticket or card machine so I'm unsure how they would even enforce that but our event did say parking was complimentary for that night so who knows. The banquet hall was spacious and beautiful. Plenty of space on the outside hallway for photo booths and the outside patio is nearby and so are the bathrooms which is great when your heels are killing you. Now onto the bad, the food and the service. The hors d'oeuvres were mediocre but what's weirder was the service. They were set at a station with a waiter standing there but they didn't serve anything nor were there plates. Honestly, these should have been served trépassé. The bad service and food didn't stop at the hors d'oeuvres though. The salads were preset out at each table setting and they all had cheese despite letting them know about my dairy allergy and a place card in front of me stating so. I had to waive down a server who had to confirm with another server before they brought out a plate of just lettuce and oil, not even a vinaigrette or anything. Then when it was time for dinner service they never cleared my salad plate despite it having trash on it and everyone else at my table getting their dinners. When I finally got mine, it was the same dry chicken as everyone else with the mashed potatoes which I'm sure had dairy in it. Then we had pound cake for dessert which was dry and someone at our table had literally two small slices of poundcake just thrown together on a plate so it looked awful. On top of that and the poundcake being dry, it was also topped with whipped cream which of course has dairy in it too. Good thing my allergy is mild and so I just took a pill and scraped off what I could. But honestly I wouldn't trust this place if you had a severe allergy. You'll either have a reaction or not eat. My water glass was constantly empty also. Long story short, the venue is pretty and new but the food is awful and the service even more so. read more

After booking 4 times within the past two months, I have to rave about this hotel! My husband and I come here for our staycation dates, but we had to come back so the kids could enjoy the heated pool. I have had the best experience with every stay, and although there are many hotels in the area, this has been by far one of my favorites. It gives us a luxury experience without paying the DTLA prices of $500/night. The rooms are clean and spacious, with soft beds, blackout curtains and my favorite feature: handheld steamers for your clothes. The balcony room is often booked, but if it's available, I would definitely recommend booking that King suite. The onsite restaurant has a great menu; our favorite was the breakfast. The ambiance of their rooftop lounge is elegant and trendy, and the view is beautiful! The staff is very accommodating and personable, and the manger, David, is always going above and beyond for guests. We used to be a faithful Marriott family, but this location alone has turned us into Hilton Honors members. read more

​This is a brand-new hotel, so while I expect a few growing pains, my stay was a mixed bag. On the positive side, my King room was very large and the staff was pleasant, but the logistics of the room itself fell short. ​The "mini-fridge" is actually just a chiller, which meant my food didn't stay cold and ended up being ruined--definitely not what you want when you're paying $200+ a night. I also dealt with a consistent clicking noise from the AC, which was frustrating for a brand-new build. ​The biggest issue for me, though, was the housekeeping. They completely rearranged my personal items--moving things on the bathroom counter and my nightstand, and even placing my socks on top of my shoes in the corner. They also reset the thermostat, so I returned to a warm room that took an hour to cool back down. For the price point, I expect a lot more respect for my space and better functional amenities. I wouldn't pay the premium to stay here again. read more

I would give 3.5 stars if I could but since I could not, 4 stars will do for mediocre customer service. We expected more from a nice and new hotel. We were never greeted or acknowledged when we enter or leave the hotel. We were not told our room number when we checked in. The front desk staff enjoyed chatting with themselves more than their customers. It was almost like we didn't exist or it's a self-service hotel. The bartender was the only friendly staff during our stay -- kudos to him! Otherwise, our stay was very comfortable. Our room was very nice, clean, and spacious. It had a large bathroom and plenty of counter space. The bed was comfortable and there was enough storage and space for our baby's pack and play. I agree with the other reviewer, $25/night for parking is a little much for self-parking. Parking in front of the hotel is limited too, since it is shared with restaurant and bar guests. So it's not guaranteed hotel guests can park in front of the hotel. Overflow parking is available in the garage. The gym is nice with fancy equipments in case you want to work out during your stay. read more

Just recently opened and everything is nice and new. For newness, cleanliness, and excellent service (in the Ovalo bar- where I had drinks in and ate in twice), this is overall a nice hotel and I did not have a bad stay. But I would say due to its newness and some other factors (listed below) it probably is advisable to wait to stay here down the road. - Many things and services are not open or barely open. Example: there are no ice machines on any level in the entire hotel. When I asked ice to be brought up they said they could arrange that and it never came after waiting for over an hour. There are other smaller things like this that are still not up and running which while not huge are not disclosed even though people might be spending $200+ per night. - The executive lounge (if you are diamond level) is basically empty. There is a coffee machine which was nice and can make lattes and there was literally 1 bag of chips stocked. No other food or snacks and several tables were left with dirty cups and napkins. When I went to turn on the tv, nothing- not connected or hooked up yet. They said it is because they just opened but how hard is it to stock some snacks, hook up cable to one tv and have someone come in to clean up every few hours. Lol. Not sure what that has to do with just opening. They had someone cleaning in the lobby and hall ways all day long, areas that were already clean, but yet miss this bigger detail that is supposed to be catering to loyal customers. - Not sure the sushi restaurant is open even though it is promoted. They told me they just got the liquor license in the downstairs bar a few days ago so I imagine people who came a week before me were pretty mad about this. - In room coffee was not stocked. Kleenex was out in the room. They might need more of an established check list/training which probably will get better given time. - They are basically still training staff including in front of you all night long. I get it as it is new and they are bringing in new hires but if you are sitting at the bar expect an ongoing revolving training session all night long. Although I will say the food was very good/reasonably priced for the quality and all the staff were friendly and gave great service, but just factor this in. Other factors to considers - Parking is $25 per night. This is disclosed but considering it is not any special location (see below) this felt absurd. It is an outside parking lot and compared to other hotels in the area (which mostly offer it for free), this really felt WAY overpriced after going. They should offer parking for $10 per night or free (at least to diamond members) considering the remote location. - The location is not the best. It is across from Santa Anita racetrack but keep in mind you are kind of in an isolated area with nothing else around you (other than the track). If you want to eat in the hotel no problem, but if you want to walk to other restaurants or for coffee, this will not be your place. Other hotels on this same street like the Double Tree or Embassy Suites much further up the street are older hotels but are WAY better locations. - The view of the racetrack is distant and across a busy road. It is close to the track but not right on top of it, so I would say any big price to get a view upgrade of the track is probably not worth it. - Standard rooms are new and clean but surprisingly for a new hotel felt small. I just expected a little more. - They have a pool but no hot tub. Crazy for a new hotel under the Hilton brand. The weather is to cold to use the pool for like 5 months of the year and the pool over looks the parking lot. I think this was a big miss on the design. They should have done an indoor pool and spa. All this is to say it is a nice hotel and newness is the main draw, but depending on your priorities, I would say skip for now unless you are getting a good price of like mid to maybe mid high $100 level. If it is a $200+ rate like what I paid, I think the issues discussed above don't justify the price point yet when also adding in nightly parking cost. Given 6 months hopefully some of these points become non issues and I do think the summer time will even be nicer as then you can use the pool and take advantage of the beautiful roof top bar. read more

The rooms are very nice as they as just renovated. It is very unfortunate that you have to pay for parking and they don't offer free breakfast not even a continental. And the door to the pool was not working. Very unfortunate and disappointing for a hotel that just opened. If you're paying $250 plus for one night I would expect more perks. read more
