First room we were given, (we had request the lowest bedroom available, so we were given a room in the basement... guess we deserved that one...) anyway, the lights were quite ambient (blue), and I was staying with my older, female cousin, so it was a bit awkward walking in to see this... but we walked over to the window to realize the lock was broken and the sewer was DIRECTLY outside... needless to say, we alerted the receptionist about the situation and gave us the "accessibility" room, (directly above the room we were already in)... not bad, but SO tight (in regard to space)... only one person could walk between the beds at one time! Not returning, and don't recommend... vending machines offered a good variety, though (no pics, unfortunately)

We all have a connotation when we think Best Western...I was pleasantly surprised!! Parking good, not a whole lot of spaces but up top and underground available. Staff was friendly Rooms were surprisingly modern. See images. Two negatives, not very well Sound proofed so a little noisy. Secondly, early evening had to be buzzed in from outside by front desk...no key card entry system

Book this location if: (1) You need 2 queen beds for your traveling party (2) You need a parking spot Overall, it was a satisfying stay. I stayed from Tuesday-Thursday (parking at night was a lot worse on Tuesday vs Wednesday), and I cannot imagine how bad it is on the weekends. While the staff did say there's always parking outside, it is true, you just might need to walk a few 3-4 blocks or so. I was given the basement level at the time of check-in 2pm and was told there weren't any other options because the hotel was fully booked. I was a bit displeased since I didn't want a view of the sidewalk. Amenities: -Gym- Smelled like rubber mats so I avoided using it since strong scents give me headaches/dizziness. -Breakfast- 7AM-10AM. Appreciate the option. It offered the basics (cereal, milk, coffee, yogurt, mass-produced egg/sausages, make-your-own-waffle, bagels) to get your day started. -Check-out time: 11AM. A bit early, but at least it gets you on the road earlier. -Space: A bit small, but that's NY or any other metropolitan area. I ended up hitting my head on the towel rails when using the toilet. Didn't like how small the bathroom was. -Bedroom- Comfortable beds. Furniture was a bit dated/ scratched up. There was a mini-refrigerator which was a nice bonus for leftovers. -Parking- Depends on your luck. It is not guaranteed. The later you stay out, the less likely you will have parking. Overall: -The pictures on the website were a bit different (bathroom looked more modern, carpet was different, chair in the room was more modern and office-like). -For the price (about $152.99 a night excluding taxes in May) and amenities, it is difficult to beat this price. Advice: -If you are traveling with a smaller party/ do not plan to rent a car or travel far outside of Manhattan, consider other options. -Although Brooklyn looks close to lower Manhattan (about 13 so miles away), it is easily a 40-50minute car-ride. CONSIDER taking the train (which is still about the same travel time). -It is definitely worth booking if you are traveling with a larger party + price-conscious + would need a parking spot.

Not sure why there are numerous negative reviews on here and other travel sites. I'm wrapping up a 2 night stay and it was a great hotel to stay at. We arrived late Saturday morning so we got a spot in their parking lot (it is small so I understand why some people have to street park). Both gentleman at the check in desk were very friendly and attentive. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the room itself was nicer than I expected. Spacious, modern, well working air conditioner, good water pressure in the shower, nice tv mounted on the wall and even the outlets have USB ports. I'd stay here again if I'm in the area!

    Pretty decent room

The room is pretty nice on the inside. However, the walls are extremely thin and the hallways are very sketchy and unappealing. The thin walls are especially annoying considering they have people cleaning up very early in the morning - as in someone might be cleaning the hallway at 4 AM or vacuuming at 8 AM. Don't expect a smile from the staff here. Greetings and good morning's should not be on your list of expectations here. If you have a question about parking in the area (which is a very valid question considering the parking lot here is very limited), you will not get an answer. I booked this hotel on hotels.com and got a good deal - about $125 per night. But seriously, you get what you pay for. This is not the place to go if you are looking for a relaxing stay. This is more of a place where you go if you plan to just sleep - well I take that back - the walls are so thin. 1 star for price, 1 for actually having a few parking spaces. They also offer a free breakfast that consists of pastries, bagels, juice, cereal, coffee, and a few hot items. Stay away from the hot items. The rest was by no means DELICIOUS but it was free, so that was nice.

All of the staff at Ace were kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with my questions. The products in the bathroom were lovely, the bed/pillows were very comfortable. If I have the opportunity to stay in Brooklyn again, Ace will be at the top of my list for sure!

A rude woman who did little to correct her mistake. Now I'm wet. I went to the bar to ask if they'd replace the drink. The bartender immediately said "no go ask the manager." Well alrighty! I find the manager and he proceeds to re-explain the situation as "so you want us to buy you a drink? It's not our fault or responsibility." We're adults. I never placed blame. A peculiar thing to say considering I just bought the drink and I'm in your establishment. Felt pretty short tbh. Not sure why I was expecting a different tone. He eventually just offers me a shot. I don't particularly like shots so I kindly slid the remainder of the spilled drink and declined the shot, suggesting that Managment show the next customer a little more grace and respect in tone. Obviously an establishment isn't responsible for spilled drinks and don't have to be kind at all. I get that. But I guess that's what separates a great establishment from a mediocre one just selling drinks and not an experience. Good luck to them.

It was also perfectly located just a short walk from my Pilates studio, which made sticking to my routine while traveling super easy. On top of that, there were plenty of coffee shops and local restaurants nearby, so I never had to go far for a good bite or my morning coffee. Being a Hilton Honors member made check-in a breeze, and I was even gifted complimentary water upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room itself was clean, cozy, and perfect for a short stay. The view from my window was amazing especially at night and I loved how quiet it was, making it easy to fully relax after long days out. They also have great amenities like a gym and a breakfast buffet every morning. The waffle machines, fresh fruit, and coffee were definitely highlights and a great way to start each day. My main concern when looking for a hotel in NY/Brooklyn was having a microwave and fridge, and thankfully our room had both. I was also told you can request them if your room doesn't already have them. We stayed in a room with a window facing an extremely busy intersection, with honking going on all day and into the night, but thankfully, the windows were thick enough to block out most of the noise. The AC sound also helped drown it out. The room and restroom also felt spacious for what you get in NY. There was daily breakfast, which was your typical hotel breakfast with a variety of options that changed daily. It's about a one-mile walk to get to DUMBO, which wasn't bad at all, even when we had to do it in the rain. The subway is about a 10 minute walk, and there are two corner stores down the street. Honestly not a bad location! Just be careful when crossing that crazy busy intersection! I would stay here again!

I stayed in this hotel for two nights, May 19th and May 20th of 2026. What I encountered should NEVER be allowed in the hospitality industry. Immediately when you walk in to check in, you are met with the staff members behind bullet proof glass. The girl who works in the daytime has a very hard to hear voice and shows 0 emotion. The pictures show the front is decorated which is NOT the case any longer - it's just dirty and deteriorating. The lobby is out of order - chairs everywhere, the bar wasn't open the entire time we were there, and they tour down the TV that was once there. The elevator is deteriorating like the rest of the building, and you can hear it each way up and down. My partner and I walked into the room, which at first appearance looked nice. Once you sat down and looked around, things just became more unhinged by the moment. - DUST covered everything. - The floor was nasty and had dirt, scraps of food wrappers, and food crumbs everywhere. It was clear the floor had not been vacuumed in days. - The hallway was also covered in grime, and had an added stickiness to it which you felt each time you took a step forward. - The large door to the bathroom was off its hinges so it could no longer slide shut. - The shower had visible black mold. Only a few of the water spouts had water come out. The rest were either clogged or just didn't work any longer. - Paint was pealing on the wall. - The couch in the room was covered with a cheap, ripped, couch cover that had stains on it. - Visible cigarette burns showed in various areas of the room. - They only gave us one pillow and one towel. I had specifically booked the hotel for two guests. We used the hotel to quickly get ready for the rest of our night, and asked the man working at the front desk to bring up a few pillows and towels, as we explained we only had one of each. When we returned, they had brought two towels up to the room, but no pillows. My partner went downstairs to ask the man once again for pillows. He told us they would be right up. 15 minutes passed and nothing. We called again and he said the same thing - they would be right up. Another 15 minutes - nothing. I called once more, and said we needed them because we wanted to go to bed soon - I was clear my partner did not have any pillows to use as we only had one supplied to us. I was told they would be right up - they never came. When we left the next day, I was very straightforward with the girl working at the front and let her know it's unacceptable that my partner had to sleep on a "decorative" pillow from the touch which smelled. She told me they would be right up - but I told her they already said that to us -she needed to make it a top priority for us as we've asked many times. Not one apology was given for their lack of service. Fortunately, when we came back they had given us two pillows however, both of them stunk and were stained. When we woke up the next day, we realized the sheets had moved around a bit while we were sleeping, and my partner slept on a giant brown stain that could have been anything. NEVER staying here again - I hope they shut this place down soon what a joke.

Anytime I requested or asked for something, I would be told it's 'done' and that I'm 'good to go', but inevitably I would find out that NOTHING had actually been done!! This led to me also receiving very rude interactions with the housekeeping managers, who would act like I was in the room without permission due to the lack of communication between any of the staff here regarding my check-out times and other such issues. As for the hotel itself, it clearly is not being properly maintained, and things are grimy, dented, and nasty throughout the rooms and halls. The door handle for my first room literally BROKE, and doors throughout the building all have half broken, drooping door handles...scuffs, marks, and broken bits EVERYWHERE. It shouldn't be that hard to maintain a relatively new hotel if there was an effort AT ALL put into it, but the staff/management here clearly DOES. NOT. CARE. AT ALL. OH - and watch out for scams here when it comes to charges they'll put on your card!! They created a second folio and had multiple duplicate charges for the SAME room and the SAME nights, and have refused to remove them!!
