Everybody was really nice and friendly especially the girls at the front desk, Alyssa, who took care of the breakfast area. The room was large and comfortable. It had hooks to hang up jackets or purses. It didn't have a makeup mirror, but I was OK. We don't usually have breakfast at the hotels we stayed at. We did one day and it was OK, the coffee was pretty good. I would've worked out a little bit, but they didn't have any 3 pound weights. And some of the things I do, 5 pounds are just too heavy. I'm sure we'll be back again as my daughter lives in Coeur d'Alene. Also was centrally located you could walk across the street to the movies which we did, nice restaurants a few little shops. Plus, we walked down to the Spokane River so a good place to stay.

Personally, I would prefer to go into town and get some better quality breakfast and coffee, however, that is just me. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. My only gripe was listening to a baby scream in the early hours of the morning and the parents being LAF without a care in the world for anyone else. I can't ding the hotel for that, however, it did sour the experience. For what it is, I feel the cost is high, however, I fully realize it's peak season in the area so it is what it is. The location is convenient though and you can walk to restaurants, movie theater right across the street, however, it literally is just a 5 min drive into the main town and to the lake. Plenty of parking though if you get back later at night you may have some trouble finding a spot if the hotel is busy.

We have 2 cats and we're having a problem finding a hotel that would take them. The Red Lion Inn Templins in Post Falls allowed us to bring them and didn't charge an extra fee. They also gave us a discount on our room since we were affected by the fires. The whole staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The food at the restaurant was good and it was nice to be able to walk around the river when you wanted to get out of the room. There were a lot of people staying at the hotel from Spokane who had to leave their homes. Everyone I talked to was blown away by how great everyone who worked there treated us. A special thanks to Nataya who checked us in the first night. It was pretty crazy with all the people that showed up at the same time but she handled it great and was very kind and professional. Also want to give a shout out to Conrad who was our server at the restaurant. We really enjoyed visiting with him and, like everyone else there, he was very kind and welcoming. We highly recommend staying at this hotel.

It had everything we needed. The rooms were a bit warm, but we kind of figured with it being such an old building, we didn't expect ac, but they did put Ovid a couple fans which we propped right by the window. I'm not sure if we would stay in the summer though. For April, it was in the mid-70's. It was like a B&B where they made breakfast fresh, and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay here and we may even rent it again for our kids when they come into town!

The view from the HUGE porch is lovely. There's tons of common "hang out" space both inside and out. If you play the piano or a string instrument there are instruments for use and that use is encouraged. There are a few friendly cats on the property. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom (shared with a couple in the next room) and there was never an issue. The bathroom had sinks with toilet and shower in a separate area with a door, so you could brush teeth while someone was showering with no issue. An extra half bath downstairs was helpful too. The decor was eclectic and fun and always something to look at. (One of the owners designed and created most of it himself.) There's wine out in the afternoon/evening and a lovely coffee and tea bar that's VERY well stocked. Breakfast had two time options and is served in individual servings and, in our case, a platter if fruit to pass. The breakfast was a cinnamon roll bread pudding and a veggie and potato frittata with sliced melon on the side. It was delicious and I enjoyed chatting with the other guests over the meal. Beds were comfy and wifi was solid. (I stayed in the three twins room - be aware that the third twin is lifted above the closet and entryway, so it may be cramped for a larger person.) I truly enjoyed my short stay here and will definitely visit again if I'm in the area!

I woke up after our first night with numerous unexplained bites across my leg that were not there previously. We immediately photographed them and brought the issue to hotel management. To management's credit, they took the concern seriously enough to have us check out, leave the room completely untouched, and schedule Ecolab Pest Control to professionally inspect the room for bed bugs, fleas, and other possible pests. However, despite us vacating the hotel entirely after one night because we were not comfortable keeping our family in the room, management has told us that they will not refund the 52,000 Marriott Bonvoy points used for that night unless Ecolab subsequently finds evidence of bugs. That's where I strongly disagree with how this has been handled. We aren't claiming to know definitively what caused the bites--that's precisely why a professional inspection is being conducted. But we woke up with a documented issue, immediately reported it, and made the decision to leave rather than expose our family to another night of a potential pest problem. I don't believe a guest should have to prove which insect caused visible bites before a hotel appropriately remedies an experience serious enough that the room itself is being preserved for a professional pest inspection. We are longtime and loyal Marriott customers and expected a much more guest-focused resolution. I will update this review when Ecolab completes its inspection and when Marriott makes its final determination regarding our refund.

Our stay was 4 nights and we booked several experiences for our time there. The first was a 90 minute massage. The massage room overlooks the marina and is beautiful. The massage itself was just okay. He asked the area he should concentrate and actually that area felt the least attended to. However, it was still very relaxing. My friend and I also booked "Hot winter night" at the infinity pool. This was so much fun as they have an adult hour and lucky for us the center above the pool was hosting prom. Yep- we got our dancing queen on. Might have annoyed the cute couples around us, but a girl's gotta dance! We also booked the "Floating in Frequency" on that Sunday morning. It was a small class and we drifted comfortably around the pool to the sound bowls. Highly recommend! Food is great at the resort and Beverly's "Lakeview Menu" is a great deal. Available until 5:30 each day, you get a 3 course meal for $29.99 with an optional wine pairing for $24.95. We had a window view and got to know the local geese (guarding their nests along the edge) June 2026- Had another friend in town and of course wanted her to experience this resort. We stayed 4 nights in Lake Tower and this time had a west facing view which had beautiful sunsets. The outdoor pool had opened, but we only visited once as it was windy and cold. Instead, we booked a "Girl's escape package" This included massages for both, lunch, and a pedicure. We had a great time. July 4th weekend 2026- This was a last minute book for us, and if we planned ahead would have gone for Lake Tower. However, we were pleasantly surprised at our view of the fireworks from the Park Tower Marina room (stay was 3 nights). This was probably the best for us since we had our dog Luna. It didn't have a balcony, so better for her not to hear the load booms. We spent a day at the infinity pool (rented a beach cabana) and ate dinner early. Then spent the time in the room waiting away for the crowds. The show was amazing and I've never been so close to fireworks with such an amazing view. We had an amazing time!

I am writing to share that our recent stay at the Coeur d'Alene Golf & Spa Resort was extremely…read moredisappointing. It has been many years since I have stayed in a room of such low quality, particularly for a high-end resort. I would like to bring the following issues to your attention: 1. The room was small, dark, and outdated. 2. I ordered chocolate-covered strawberries, but none were supplied. 3. The lack of available power outlets was unacceptable for a modern hotel. 4. The bathroom door was extremely difficult to open and close, requiring two hands to move. 5. Our room was next to the pool, and the pool lights remained on all night. Because the windows only had wooden slats with large gaps instead of curtains, the light shone into our room all night, making it very difficult to sleep. 6. The refrigerator temperature was so weak that the water we placed inside was only slightly chilled. 7. The television programming interface was poor, and the audio cut out frequently while trying to select a program. Any one of these issues would be unacceptable on its own, but experiencing all of them demonstrates a disappointing indifference to the comfort of your guests. While I typically avoid leaving negative reviews, I feel compelled to share this feedback so these issues can be addressed. I look forward to your response regarding how this will be resolved.
