Clean, convenient, and professional. Had a flight change which required me to stay in Dallas overnight. Staff was courteous on check in and made the process easy. Room was larger than expected with complimentary water and coffee. My room faced the airport and noise was negligible. Sheets were comfortable, but smelled slightly of chlorine. Staff was accommodating by giving me a call in the morning to wake me for my flight. I found the shower comfortably hot with good water pressure. Complimentary soap smelled nice. Breakfast was included and I was pleasantly surprised. Hotel price was very competitive for the area. Wish I had enough time to experience the pool, hot tub, and gym. As a warning, due to no fault of the hotel, Uber is extremely expensive from DFW to any hotel in this area. Prices and wait times were normal in the morning; however, when I arrived around 1 AM, rides were 50 dollars minimum and wait times were up to an hour (Uber Black had the only reasonable wait time). Please factor this in before booking. Additionally, the complimentary shuttle to the airport has not run since Covid. Some online summaries of the hotel still reference a shuttle existing. I wish the hotel would reconsider bringing back the shuttle as that would easily make it the best hotel in the area. read more

This a nice and hotel. 1.9 mile from DFW. It was decorated so cute for Halloween. The rooms were clean. Our room faced the freeway so you could hear it, but that is not the hotels fault, so I will not mark it down for that. The breakfast was much better than any other hotel I've stayed. They have waffles in the sheep of Texas. All in all the coffee, waffles, bagels, fresh fruit all of it was very tasty and very clean atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again! Great customer service from the front desk rooms where amazing and breakfast was amazing as well

BED BUGS!!!! Found bed bugs in both beds. Made management aware and they say that they had a pest inspector come out and didn't find any additional bugs. They said I can have a full refund but wouldn't do anything further. Also found chips and french fries under the mattress as well as candy on the floor under the center nightstand...was told they don't require cleaning in those areas! The hotel itself isn't in a bad location, but the burnt down hotel right next door is very off putting. Parking in my opinion is a little limited. Upon walking in, the hotel kind of had a little musty smell but the decor is nice and they have tvs that show the flight status and times so that's awesome. The lady at the front desk (heavier set with long hair) was helpful but just a little too assertive and came off strong. The stairs going up are very old and sound like an old haunted house. Definitely needs to be redone. Elevator was good though. We stayed 3 nights for $373 and got a king suite. The room was nice, no issues except the bathroom was soooooo tiny. You couldn't get into the shower without closing the door because it's incredibly small. They also don't have full sized towels or pillows. They're like half the size which I found odd. I will say, breakfast was very very delicious and was the highlight of our stay. Also be advised they DO NOT have a shuttle and DO NOT have pet friendly rooms. For the price it was decent, but literally 2 minutes down the road are wayyyyyy more modern and nice hotels (Fairfield inns and suites, holiday inn, etc) and I'm kicking myself for not staying there instead. The hotel got the job done, but needs to have more amenities and a shuttle service. It's literally 3 minutes from the airport so to not offer one is a waste. read more

Arrived at 1 am gentlemen was nice at checkin but walkie talkie kept going off (extremely loudly) while we were trying check in. The room (main part) was ok but compact. But the bathroom was sad...sloped our towards toilet. Couldn't move the shower head or it would flood the floor. Doesn't work well for hubby who's 6'8. Bathroom door wouldnt lock. My wife and I stayed here for my birthday weekend and the hotel was super super clean. The clean staff was always around cleaning and making sure all the guest had clean rooms and towels. The front desk staff was friendly and very attentive to our needs. It's a small little travel from the airport (even though it's still on airport property) it's worth the small little ride. Upon entering, this hotel was dingy and dated. We went to our room and the bed was full of human hair from at least two different people! The hotel clerk said he would need to check with the manager the next day to see about refunding our money since we were not going to stay in this filthy hotel. I only booked a room for the night because I was stranded in Dallas when American Airlines canceled my layover flight to NY. Needless to say, I felt very unsafe trying to sleep in a city I didn't know. When a man tried to come into my hotel room AND SUCCEEDED IN UNLOCKING THE DOOR at 1:30AM!!!! Lucky for me, I already put the safety lock on. He apologized and left. I called the front desk and told them what happened, and they said, "That room was supposed to be vacant" with a ton of attitude, like it was my fault some man had a key to my room and proceeded in terrifying me. The manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Their computer system clearly screwed up and didn't release the credit hold, but they refused to make it right. My credit card couldn't dispute the charge until 30 days had passed, so the manager was basically saying she could do nothing, and my only course of action was to dispute the charge after 30 days. read more

We only stayed for a night due to a cancelled flight. Room was okay but my partner and I couldn't get over how rude the young man at the front was. He never looked up from his phone when talking to us and every answer he gave was a one-worded 'yes' or 'no', with no explanation to follow. It got a bit frustrating since he was the only one working, and therefore the only person we could rely on for answers. My hubby stays at Best Western frequently for his job and he has racked up quite a few points. So, naturally when my hubby and I decided to take the kiddos on a weekend vacation we decided to use his points for a stay. This hotel is RIGHT by the airport so it is conveniently located for those catching a flight. However that also means it was a little loud at night when trying to sleep. The lobby was nice and open and decorated nicely for Christmas. The room was nice and cleaned well. They offer free breakfast which is always a plus! We needed a crib in our room and it was all ready for us upon arrival. The negatives were that the showers were poorly designed. Meaning when you take a shower, the water goes ALL OVER the bathroom floor making it very slippery. Being an elite member my hubby was supposed to get either two snacks and two drinks OR 500 points. He did not receive that automatically and actually had to ask for it. The MOST frustrating thing was that my hubby booked our hotel online. As mentioned, he used his points to get our room free. Upon arrival the customer service attendant told us that wouldn't be the case. It was a long drawn out situation in which Best Western was wrong and I don't feel they handled it properly. They didn't treat us like Elite members or like we as customers mattered. I think that this was more of a "corporate" issue however vs. a location issue. I may not stay at this location again due to the loud airplanes but other that that it wasn't too shabby! read more

If you intend to stay the night, and then leave your car for a flight, beware that that is an additional fee. Also the shuttle is a shared-ride and as such takes some extra time. I was under the impression that by staying for a night, that I would be allowed to leave my car without an extra fee. After being told otherwise at check in, I inquired about cancelling my reservation since I was only able to stay for about an hour before leaving for my flight. They claimed that I booked third party (I didn't. I booked through the Best Western site and had a Best Western confirmation number). Essentially, I ended up paying DOUBLE what I would have otherwise. I never would have stayed here had I known this policy. Very frustrating. With regard to the room--it's what you would expect for a hotel in this price point. Also, there was a dead mouse in the parking spot next to mine. If I had known what a rip off this was, I'd have stayed in a nicer hotel with free parking and just Ubered to the airport. read more

Nice hotel next to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport! Stayed there when I decided to try out flying for first time out of Cleveland. Lots of jet noise but I like sound of jet engines so that made it even better. Pool was cold, (after all this was October of 2017), but they have a nice little hot tub next to pool. And there is a Whataburger right next door, so all my meals were from them, great burgers I might add. read more

We stayed at 2 hotels during our trip and checked out others in the DFW airport area. This hotel was amazing. They went the extra mile in giving their customers a great stay. Other hotels gave no breakfasts, pools and hot tubs closed. This hotel had a lady making eggs, ham and waffles behind a plexi glass. The pool and hot tub was open with limited guests. Other hotels said they had breakfast but there was none or limited. This hotel went the extra mile instead of none or limited. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The staff was excellent from the clerk to the maid service and the cook. All friendly and welcoming. This hotel made our trip great!! The hotel is definitely convenient to the airport. The shuttle runs 24/7. The shuttle itself was beat up and dirty. The stair to step to get into the shuttle was broken making it a little difficult to get in. We left the car there for a week and the cost was $40. The room was okay. The hotel stairwell reaked of smoke. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower. The continental breakfast was average. The motel staff members were polite. Long story short: This hotel was okay for a one night stay but I would not want to stay here for an extended period of time. read more

I give this hotel a 2 star since it is not worth more. The hotel room is okay with the big screen tv and the big room but if you have a huge bed why but a huge seat in front of the bed? You have a space of half a foot to wall thru. I hit every time my leg when i had to walk to the window site. The elevator sounds like it will break down as well as it is super slow. I used the stairs to avoid any issues. And most important they advertise free breakfast on weekdays at 6 AM. What a joke. I went to the breakfast room twice, one at 6 AM and then again at 620 AM and nothing was set up other than bananas and coffee. Why they advertise 6 AM breakfast when they cant get it together until 7 AM? When i tried to check out, no one at the front desk. At a time when everyone in the morning want to check out to make the flight the person was not available. Airport shuttle: we called when we got to baggage claim at dfw. The hotel said it may be up to a 30 min wait. The shuttle arrived within 2 minutes of us getting to the pickup spot. It's not a hotel-specific shuttle. Very convenient and a 5-7 min drive from dfw to the hotel. Front desk: we arrived very late due to flight delays. They gave us a later checkout time, which was appreciated! Breakfast: included eggs, biscuits, ham & sausage, a waffle maker, packaged pastries, fruit, cereal, trail mix, yogurt. Many more options compared to the typical continental breakfast. The coffee was good! My husband agrees, and he's a coffee snob! Room: clean and spacious. I ended up staying here after finding myself stuck in Dallas for four days in February due to an ice storm that hit the area, which resulted in MANY cancelled flights. I enjoyed the cozy lobby area, the room was clean, the heat worked, had business center access, and a Walmart was next door (which allowed me to freshen a few things up!) I found the service to be hospitable, the breakfast was your typical Best Western breakfast (waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, assorted breads, etc.) I spotted an Olive Garden nearby and they were nice enough to shuttle me over there as a courtesy and picked me up when I was done. There is also a theater within walking distance of this place. The only reason I dinged them a star was because this is one of the hotels with doors that face a parking lot, and I heard a lot of traffic (auto/people), which was distracting. Overall, a pleasant stay during an unpleasant experience. read more

My family and I stayed here for two days after our flight was cancelled and we waited for travel. This hotel is nothing special but it's also not bad. Three stars is appropriate. First, they charge for toiletries, but it isn't crazy expensive... But it's also not complimentary. The wifi isn't crazy stable (at least not in our room) and it seemed like it constantly had to reconnect when I was on the side of the room near the window. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back, but it's not a Best Western-dedicated shuttle... It stops at a few other hotels as well, so be sure that you factor that into your travel time when you're trying to get back to the airport. The breakfast buffet is pretty good - especially if you are into taquitos - but it's fairly standard fare. It does have a pool and what looks to be a jacuzzi in the rear of the hotel (outdoor). It is also within walking distance of a Whataburger and a gas station... But not much else. Bottom line - not a bad hotel but not an outstanding one either. It's what we needed at the time. The price for two nights was $260 (with taxes and other charges included), and that was through American Airlines's travel agents (after we rebooked our flights). read more

This place is apparently a Best Western Plus, not a regular Best Western, whatever that means. It's about a 5 minute drive from DFW. Everything in the Dallas area is 5 minutes from DFW. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was modest. I wasn't expecting much in way of a room, but even if I had higher expectations they would have still been met/exceeded. The room was large, and immaculately clean. The bed was king-sized, which I was not expecting at all, I figured queen at best. All the towels and such in the bathroom were clean, as was the entire bathroom. Rooms were quiet, I didn't hear anything on either side of us. Other accommodations include a hot tub, pool, and a business office with a printer and internet connection; useful for printing off boarding passes or whatever if you need to catch a flight. There was also a better than expected breakfast; with scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, toast, and waffles in the shape of Texas that you make yourself. Overall, a great place to stay in the Dallas area. I recommend it. read more

They also do not tell you that there is another hotel with almost the same name (Best Western Irving Inn & Suites at DFW Airport), which when called, will tell you that the shuttle is no longer running. The hotel itself is a very nice facility: clean & spacious rooms, micro/fridge, lots of channels to flip through, pool, fitness & business centers, excellent breakfast spread, free wifi, etc. The service here is abysmal! Upon checking in (prepaid, through work), the desk clerk behaved as though I was an inconvenience, rather than a welcome guest. Everyone I encountered at the hotel was ambivalent, uninterested in helping, or flat out rude. (The Hyatt Regency where I attended a conference this weekend, on the other hand, bent over backward to help out! It's not just the region.) Their airport shuttle is a joke. The board indicates that you can sign up for it 30 minutes in advance, but when my shuttle was 30 minutes late, the desk clerk informed me I should have signed up the night prior, then started texting on his phone! (I choose to believe he was informing the shuttle driver that he was needed on-site, but he gave no indication.) You must also apparently call the shuttle yourself after a certain point in the afternoon: 2:30 pm, if I recall correctly) Good luck getting one to run on time! It's not run by the hotel (although I saw a Best Western shuttle on-site!), but an outside company who picks up customers at other hotels until it's full. This would not have been an issue at all if there were any kind of indication as to how their system works aside from their 30-minute sign-up sheet. I could have planned my trip better, given the correct information. The implication of a direct-to-airport service is that it GOES directly to the airport, yes? It was impossible to collaborate the various hotel shuttle services to accommodate my stay with the convention I was working. If you're flying in, for heavens' sake, rent a car rather than trying to use cab service anywhere, particularly if you're working on airport property: expect to pay $25+ one way for a cab. Want a comfortable, clean room, and don't mind overpaying for terrible service and rude people? This might be the place for you. If you can avoid dealing with any of the staff, you just may enjoy your stay. read more

Two stars because I have a place to sleep other than an airport seat due to schedule delays on the connecting flight. Otherwise one star would be a big compliment for this joint. They appear to have one person answer the calls for passengers, checking in guests and front desk so no one answered my calls to explain why the shuttle was not where they said it was at half past midnight. I just caught a taxi to there myself and paid $20 for the 2 mile journey here. After arrival had to wait another 45 minutes for the same dude in line behind everyone else to check in which explained why he was not answering. Given his job I would quit the same night to save my sanity. He may not have that as an option. read more

Place was okay. The front desk staff was friendly and prompt. I didn't care for the room so much due to the stench of mildew and when I woke up there were ants crawling on the nightstand and floor. The room smelled as if no one had been in there for years, it was horrible. I didn't bother complaining about it because you get what you pay for and I checked in late at night after a long drive. There was plenty of parking, rooms were fairly large, bottled water for sale in the lobby for $1, and a free shuttle to the airport (have cash on hand for tip and make reservations at the front desk). Horrible customer service! I was traveling all day and got in at 1230am. I was told my card was not working and that I needed to call the number in back of my card. I was then told that I didn't need to do that and that he needed a different card. I wasted my time and the Front Deskperson Sandeep proceed to chat with friends while I was on the phone with the bank instead of helping me. Then after I got off of the phone and explained to him that he had wasted my time, he proceeded to argue with me about what he had said and that I had heard him incorrectly. This last for 10 minutes. It is 1:39am now and I just got in the bed. DON'T EVER COME HERE! SERIOUSLY! Hospitality should be so much better than this. read more

My wife and I were stranded overnight at the DFW airport due to weather delays. We decided that we definitely did not want to spend the night at the airport and made an online reservation at this Best Western. When I called, even though the manager did not have a record of the online reservation, she went out of her way to help me cancel it (with a refund), reserved us the last room available, and sent a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. The service was absolutely fantastic, upon arrival the front desk helped us locate some much needed food, and signed us up for a shuttle back to the airport the next morning, in the morning, the breakfast attendant took special care of us, and made sure we had more than enough to eat and drink. The room was comfortable, clean, and everything was in working order. This was by far one of the best experiences I have had staying at a Best Western. If I could give a higher recommendation, I would! Great people here! read more
