Hotel staff was very accommodating, easy check in and out , customer service was on point we enjoyed our one night stay and they provided extra linens with no issues, only thing from a full star rating the toiletries in the shower were all out , but our room was nice, clean and comfy bed , we would stay again They also provide a 24 hr coffee/water bar .. total 4 star read more

This is hands down one of the best Best Westerns I've stayed at! The location is convenient, with restaurants, markets, etc nearby. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff was great and breakfast was included. Plenty of parking too. A great stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. read more

Posting on behalf of a friend who stayed here recently. She said the room and staff were all a great experience. However, after checkout, she reached out to the manager as she had left her toiletries bag behind. She was assured that the staff is very diligent and will get it for her and would call her back. The manager (Bailey) never returned her call. My friend called her, and was informed nothing was in the room. The toiletries bag contained a Dyson Airwrap, among other high value makeup and accessories. One star despite the enjoyable stay, because stealing and lying isn't how to treat customers, especially customers that are in town for unfortunate circumstances. I will keep posting this until her items are returned. read more

I couldn't hate a hotel more than I do this place! The carpet in our room was nasty dirty, our room was right next to the elevator (bed was literally on the other side of the elevator shaft), the bed was hard as a rock, the shower had mold in the grout, the fridge was so loud I had to unplug it in the middle of the night, and the fireplace was only a decorative wall piece that gave out no heat, at all. I think out of all of the things I mentioned above, the hard bed was the WORST out of all of them; it felt like we were sleeping on a a stack of folded cardboard boxes with a sheet on top. It was horrible and between the loud fridge, elevator motor running all night, and the hard bed, I didn't get any sleep! The money I spent here was a complete waste and definitely NOT worth what I paid! Never again! read more

We just traveled across the country and stayed at several hotels. This one is by far the worst for the price we paid. One of the highest prices for a room that smelled like urine,dingy bedding, and furniture that's seen better days. Stay away from this place! My wife and I made plans to attend a birthday party today in the area. I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to find a place since it is Labor Day weekend but I was able to book a room online at the Best Western. The rooms looked nice and clean and it is a nice chain hotel. I got my online confirmation and was good to go. Hotel check in is at 3 PM but I called around 1:30 PM to see if I could check in early. Unfortunately, the room wasn't ready yet so my wife and I went to the Target across the street to get a few things and when we got done, we went back to the hotel and found out the room was ready. When we got to the room, we noticed that it had a fully functioning AC (thank goodness!) and even had a fridge/freezer. The room was also very modern looking and had a TV with DirecTV. The hotel also has wi-fi in case you have a little work to do or want a faster internet connection for your mobile phone or iPad/Android tablet. We had a nice evening and went to sleep. There is a continental breakfast in their cafe with cereal, milk, juice, bagels, and toast. The only downside is that breakfast stops at 9 AM. I walked to the cafe around 9:30 AM and an employee told me about the hours but was nice enough to offer me cereal and milk for breakfast which I was able to take back to the room for my wife and I to eat. I found the employees to be very kind and friendly and they were also nice enough to let my wife and I check out at noon rather than 11 AM. Thanks Best Western for a pleasant stay! Being without electricity for three days, we checked into this hotel for one night to have a hot shower and a good nights sleep. My husband needs a cpap so electricity is a must. At 3 am he wakes up gagging... no electricity. When we went down stairs there is no breakfast...not even a cold muffin or juice. The desk said " not our fault, Edison turned us off, no compensation, just a we will get back to you after we deal with corporate. Well they haven't. Even loaned me a flashlight to located my room and navigate the stairwell. Very underwhelming. I'm not someone who stays for amenities - just wanted a clean, quiet room for a night. Room was not clean, and had stains on mattress. Dubious white stains on the floor. Literally every cabinet, shelf or door in our room was broken or malfunctioning. Paper thin walls, could hear everything around us. The room was stuffy even with the a/c on. A/c unit was super loud as was the fridge, humming all night. Breakfast was surprisingly good, but honestly? We didn't sleep. Stay at the Hampton Inn. This hotel kinda sucks. read more

The place is gross. Paper-thin walls seem to amplify the noisy neighbors. Ours happened to be smoking pot at five in the morning. The coffee machine in the lobby is terrible. The place smells funny. I would imaging the staff don't care much about creating a clean, well maintained and nice place to stay. I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns. I like them because they're pretty much everywhere, usually clean, with friendly staff and have a decent breakfast included in the price. This particular Best Western didn't live up to the usual standard. First of all, major red flag, when we were there the pool/hot tub were closed. And not just closed by the hotel--closed by THE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Y'all I almost flipped out when I saw the sign on the pool gate! Crazy, and gross. Another gross thing, the cleanliness of the rooms themselves. Both the floor and one of the chairs in our room had seemingly permanent stains/crust on them. Super nasty. Pro tip for the owner--if you can't clean it off, REPLACE IT! Who wants to pay for the nicest room y'all have, and the arm of the chair and the carpet have big crusty stains?? Not me! This was not our first choice given the prior reviews However there were multiple tournaments in town so options were limited. We called to ask if there was a chance we could check in early they said there was not so we arrived at the appointed time of 3:00. Our room was not clean yet. At 3:45 we finally we got into our room but we were told to be careful as the floor was still wet. We arrive in the room the chair is ripped and had some nasty looking stains on it. The air conditioning unit buttons were extremely dirty too. The leg one bed was broken. We tried to fix it but were concerned when my son slept in it it would break again. We notified the front desk who said they would send maintenance...they never arrived. The next day the bed leg was sideways again and we were told maintenance would come again we were skeptical. The housekeeping manager who was extremely nice (sorry I can't remember her name) came by and said she would move us to a nicer room on the 3rd floor this one was much nicer and cleaner. The complementary breakfast was good. Very nice breakfast staff. Given my first night here I would not stay again. read more

I've stayed at this hotel several times and always had a good experience, but on my last visit a few nights ago, there was a german roach in our room. We notified the front desk (Ray, very nice) offered to switch our room but it was already late and my husband had already killed the roach. Coincidentally, we own a pest control business, so my husband did an inspection for bed bugs and german roaches, (we didn't want to bring anything home) and found no other evidence of bugs. Hopefully, this hotel has ongoing regular service. If it wasn't for the roach, I would've given 5 stars. read more

TERRIBLE experience! This place is absolutely filthy. They don't change their sheet's between guests, my toddler found an open bottle of Rhino XL in the room and there was pubic hair in the made bed!! The manager Vicki, NEVER reached out, made any apologies, she just gave a discount. The staff did their best to help out. Honestly we would have packed up and left but it was too late to get another room anywhere near by. Unfortunately, minus the management and housekeeping the rest of the staff is great, courteous and diligent. The Best Western Plus, Diamond Valley Inn: By far the worst customer service I have experienced at a Best Western Plus. If you simply ask for a cup of coffee at this establishment after breakfast hours, the cleaning lady on duty, Juliet, will certainly make you feel as if you asked her to personally buy you a cup of coffee. After my wife asked Juliet if coffee was available, she looked at my wife incredulously, as if we are homeless and came in asking for some food. She then gathered herself and told my wife that ONLY coffee was available. My wife then asked me why this person had such an attitude with her. Juliet made it a point to walk up to my wife and to ask her what did she say, and rather than exercise customer service, she made it a point to make her personal points to my wife that she felt that she hadn't been rude. My wife told her she didn't want to speak to her and so the cleaning lady left to then bring back her cleaning lady friends so they could gossip in the corner about my wife in Spanish. The manager Vicki was of no help, simply saying that she could not picture Juliet or the other cleaning ladies acting in this manner. Vicky in all her back woods glory of illustrating incompetence at its finest claims she CAN see my wife on the motels camera footage, but she CANNOT see her own employees in this same camera footage approaching my wife, and standing right next to her, to make personal comments, having absolutely nothing to do with customer courtesy and professionalism, or being gathered together by Juliet, to come and see my wife and gossip in Spanish about her. Apparently, Juliet in all of her old aged wisdom and maturity, still needs comfort and support to deal with her own emotional and personal discomfort via her fellow employees Laura and Maria who were summoned by Juliet, to leer at my wife and make personal comments, which were all condoned by Vicky, the friend or I mean the "manager" of Juliet. So good to see nepotism/ unprofessionalism/ lack of accountability alive and well at The Best Western Plus, Diamond Valley Inn. The room was infested with ants. Housekeepers were supposed to come and spray it but never did. We reserved a king-sized bed but the room came with a queen-size. The handicapped bathroom was nice, with a roll in shower. Nice, until my husband took a shower. Since it was a handicapped shower, it had a very low threshold to keep the water in. The shower floor is supposed to be graded so the water flows into the drain. This floor was completely level, so the water went out of the shower and into the bathroom and hallway. What a mess. If you are used to high hotel standards spend the extra money and stay nextdoor to this hotel. The doors to the rooms dont work properly, one has been broken into and was off square and wouldn't close or deadbolt, and in the replacement room the door handle wouldn't work from the outside. My shoes stuck to the tile in the bath area and to the carpet in front of the refrigerator. I didn't want to walk barefoot. The noise from the people on the floor above us at 5am made it impossible to sleep. I'm sure they were just walking to and from the bathroom but it sounded like stomping. I expected more from the grab and go breakfast due to covid, it was like a bad kids meal. The only positive thing about this hotel was the friendly staff. I can't imagine what they must go through. The management should really step up and keep this place in better shape. They don't tell you when you make the reservation or check in that there is a $10 facility fee added to your bill. I had to use uber a couple times today and they all told me to not stay in this area, it's our first time here so we were a little worried about the safety. Now im typing my review from my room and let me tell you we got a super nice room, shiny clean, smells clean Huge bed, huge tv, lil sofa area We made our reservation over the phone and we had a two bed I guess one beds were not available. As soon as we walked in a really nice gentleman welcomed us, and we were able to get a one bed and its soo nice we loved it (plus complementary breakfast) Thank you so much gentleman at the front. We stayed here one night and were very happy. We had a king room with a deep jetted tub. With our corporate code it was $92. The bedside tables had smart electric outlets in lamp. Included were refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, dispensers of shampoo-conditioner-soap in awesome flow shower, black out curtains really worked. Included breakfast was "more" than Choice Properties (see photos attached). Conveniently located across from a Target plaza with restaurants etc. Mattress was surprisingly comfy. Pillows a little hard. But I could've asked for a softer one so it wasn't that much of an issue. Gunner checked us in. He was friendly and competent. What more could we want? read more

The worst service ever! We arrived @ 1AM fr San Francisco. Decided to check in n rest but the big guy just had to make his $ on the side. He kept insisting we pay $200 for the room plus $250 deposit. This facility should do an investigation on its employees. By the way, we booked the room online & got it for $99. Prior to my exit, the "Big Guy" sarcastically, stated "Good luck finding a room tonight" with a smirk. Dirty rooms, bad service. Overall, this should be rated 0 stars if it were allowed. I was impressed at the room and service there. We got a non smoking studio room with a king size bed, last minute and it was very clean. It looked like they recently updated it. It even smelled clean, no old misty odors. Pros- Stayed here for two nights. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. Wipe down showed a little dirt that came from one of the night stands. The front desk ladies were nice. Bed and pillows were comfy. We didnt get to try the complimentary breakfast as it was packed by the time we got there. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel though so it wasn't too big of a deal. Cons - The room smelled of some sort of cleaning agent whenever you first walked in. The walls seemed to the really this as we could here the people in the next room coughing and sneezing. This hotel is great value for the money. The room was large and clean with two comfortable and well dressed queen beds. My friends and I had to leave before 5AM the morning after our stay, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that some of the breakfast offerings were already ready despite it not officially opening until 7. We were able to grab hot coffee and pastries before hitting the road. The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars was that they forgot to turn on the hot water when we checked into our room, which resulted in a very cold shower. Once brought to the front desk's attention, they quickly turned the hot water on. Great place to stay in Hemet. read more

Great place we stayed in the king bed with fireplace. It is really nice I will post pics later just one complain the fireplace is a picture frame looks Like a fireplace so I don't think it should say king bed with fireplace. But not a big deal at all. The customer service excellent and the breakfast was delicious and hot very clean. So my husband and I love it. We will bring our moms for sure, so we will be coming back again soon. We didn't expect much for the price as we were in town for a softball tournament. I can only speak for our experience and the 5 stars are for a couple of things: the breakfast was great to have as some hotels still do bags due to covid. So that was very nice. More importantly, the front desk duo of Marcus and Scooby were the best from day 1. Very pleasant and accommodating when we were downstairs hanging out as a family or group and just very helpful and pleasant! It is ALWAYS nice to have the first person you see when checking in be pleasant and customer focused but to also have that same person be just a solid NICE gentleman and helpful throughout the stay was fantastic! Vicki was awesome with getting our rooms set up and reserved for our team and responsive in her communications when we needed it. THANK YOU! I know there were some rooms with some very strong marijuana odors but it is legal now so we were just very lucky that we did not have that as a problem. Don't stay here. This hotel rivals the hostel we stayed at in Athens. Only plus is the bed is comfy. The rooms, even the upgraded ones, are tiny. And the TV worked for about 2 hours and then stopped working all together. What a rip off for the way over priced cost. If you're going to run a hostel with nice beds, charge the appropriate rate. My advice is to pay the extra $100 and stay at a better hotel nearby. read more
