A huge shout out goes to all of the Soboba Resort personnel, from the hotel accommodations to the casino employees and to the golf tournament staff who directed, organized, and aided in running a very smooth operation. Golf course attendants and personnel extremely helpful in all facets of play and preparation, as well as catered fare and banquet fixings. This facility and its operation have improved ten-fold over the previous location of two tents or out-buildings where it was smokey, dirty, and non-accommodating to its visitors like 10 to 20 years ago. The surrounding infrastructure has improved immensely and anything one might need is a close drive away. Don't get me started on the surrounding scenery which has always been somewhat in awe forever with the majestic mountain range as a backdrop. I took my dad to Soboba Casino for a pre-Father's Day visit. This casino is always clean and well-maintained. The machines are always in working order. There are numerous restaurants and a big food court, bars, clean restrooms, a bakery, and so much more Needless to say, my family and I had a BLAST spending time together, and we all walked away with money after playing penny slots for hours. And this is 75 miles from my house so my visit here will be limited to only when I visit my parents in Hemet. Ok so it's a ways off the road but very well worth the trip. Excellent nights sleep for a light sleeper and a little bit too firm but still very comfy bed. What an amazing hotel room with a beautiful view. It was quiet and very peaceful and very reasonably priced. The shower was spectacular. Hot water immediately that was good water not full of chemicals and great water pressure. The air throughout hotel was very pleasant. I mean no old odors and no smelly scents just clean. The room was so well kept it seemed brand new and actual glass coffee cups not crappy paper or styrofoam. Beautiful room with excellent lighting in so many different areas. It really set a relaxing mood. It really made you think it was a brand new hotel. The room and bathroom were huge! I give 10 thumbs up for having apparatus's that help those that are in need get in pool and hot tub. That's unusual and I highly respect hotels that do this! Most don't. Excellent job SOBOBA! Moderately priced. I didn't get a chance to try any food here. If you don't play you can't win but go in with a set amount, stick to it and have fun. We booked four rooms. Two were accessible rooms for my 87 year old Mom and for her friend that showed up to Celebrate her birthday. We arrived early and asked for early check-in. Our non accessible rooms got in right away but the two accessible rooms were not available. We had planned to decorate my Mom's room while she was in the casino. She is usually ready for bed early and her room was not ready till 5:30. Seriously an hour and a half after check-in. This really killed our evening! Major fail for our memorable family event. I know things happen but this was a major fail where we probably will never go back again. They offered me an invitation back but why would we return to a possible similar experience. On the positive side... We ate at the Fairway Cafe which was absolutely excellent and the staff throughout the hotel and casino were all friendly and accommodating. Relaxing and slower paced casino. Really clean and helpful staff. Decent parking with not too far to walk To the casino. They have a hotel and the check in is good, with quick service. You need a key to access the upper floors. The room is large and well equipped with a large fiat screen TV and chairs and a table. Soaps in bathrooms and hot water Is available. I had a great hot shower- my favorite! The bed is comfortable and clean. The hotel is well maintained and up to date. They don't allow you to bring your bags through the casino and they will have you shuttled to the hotel if needed. We went to Canyon Steak House. It was pricey, and the food was excellent and served on point. We had wedge salad, bread and butter, mashed potatoes, King crab legs, and a ribeye steak medium well. Everything was cooked To perfection and was delicious I'm not sure if they have chargers for electric cars, because I didn't see them. We really like this Casino and hotel. read more

I am updating my review now that I have stayed at the resort overnight. Its beautiful! My husband and I brought my grandpa for his birthday last month. Our stay was spectacular. The room was beautiful and the pool was so relaxing. My cousin also got a room, but she got a presidential suite! She is a regular here and is like a celebrity haha. Her suite was like nothing I have ever seen! So nice! It was bigger than my house. We had such a beautiful stay that my husband and I booked a trip for this summer to stay a few days alone. I have to tell tell about my disappointment at the casino. My husband and I live in Texas and California. When we are in Cali we would go about twice a month. I always used my loyalty card and was great-full for the perks. One perk was I could do check at the cage for no fees. Will I didn't know they reset your cards in January an July If no usage they bump you back down. I complained at the cage when they charged mr $28 but they said go to membership and talk to them. SHELBY FD was the host in front who helped us...Such a genuine person...High energy, positive and very knowledgeable...She made us laugh...very sweet lady...Our room was sixth floor and we had a beautiful view...The bed was very comfy and the room was very clean no smell(smoke free)...Also, there wasn't any resort charge! I ordered the triple decker THE GOLF CLUB applewood smoked bacon | turkey | ham | swiss lettuce | tomato | avocado | mayo | sourdough toast Sandwich. The bacon inside was hard and. Good thing that there was only a few pieces. There was 3 layers of ham ; not much mayo or lettuce. The sourdough bread was ok. Next time I'll order hot food instead. It certainly wasn't worth $18. The Hole In One-MoltenLava Cake with ice cream tasted good. Definitely good quality chocolate. Small scoop of Ice Cream???? Our waitress was very good. It's New Year's Day and we decided to check Soboba casino out, we used to come every Thursday for a very long time but stopped a couple of years back and started going somewhere else but wanted to come here. I like that there's no smoking allowed, parking lot is big and there are a lot of games to choose from. My husband and I separated and I had left my phone in the car and couldn't find him, it was really frustrating as I walked through the place for 20 minutes or so without luck finding him, I went to the front and asked if they could page him for me and they sent me to security, I was shot down by the lady behind the counter who said "No I cannot page him, we don't do that here!" She was really rude! She could have offered to dial his number and told him where I was or directed me to a pay phone or anything at all but decided being rude was the way to go. I walked around for another 20 minutes looking for him then decided to ask the girls at the cafe if they would dial for me and they did, I was grateful got that! We didn't have a good time, in the time I spent looking for him it was wasted energy , definitely a downer ( I know It's nobody's fault that I left my phone in the car but it was an accident) But the security could have helped if she wanted to. I'm only rating my experience on the casino. I did not stay at the hotel or attend an event. My mom mentioned wanting to catch the Los Rieleros del Norte concert. Unfortunately they sold out before I could get her tickets. However, since she enjoys gambling responsibly, we decided to go to the casino anyway. I'm a novice at gambling and had no idea what to do. Within a minute of being here, I lost my mom haha. So I headed to one of the counters and said, "It's my first time here. I have no idea what I'm doing!" The staff was so friendly and helpful. I gave them my ID and they signed me up for the free rewards program and gave me the run down. Since I couldn't find my mom, I decided to grab a snack. I stopped to get a pretzel with cheese. I headed to the bar area to eat, catch up on some emails, and recharge. I headed to the ATM to pull out some cash since I hadn't done that prior to arriving. The machine charged me a $4 fee which I expected. I found my mom about half an hour after arriving. We had only planned to stay for a couple hours. However, we had a wonderful time together. As I mentioned earlier, my mother enjoys gambling responsibly. I hadn't seen this side of her before as I'm not a big casino person, but let me tell you, we had the best time! I got to watch her rituals and superstitions... spraying rose water on her hands for good luck and tapping the screens to manifest the winning combo. Six and a half hours later we left happy The restrooms were very clean. They served complimentary water, soda, and coffee (make sure to tip!). We even ate at El Comal. It was delicious. However, when you drive away and truly say you had a wonderful time... then it's not the money that dictates your experience... it's the entertainment, service and actual experience that dictated your full enjoyment. I can honestly say I had a wonderful time. I am fortunate that my room was comped, I received some nice offers with food, and free play. So of course it made the stay extra nice. Dinner was at the Noodle Bar. I wish I had taken a picture of dinner. It was just fantastic. Yakisoba noodles with chicken. Coffee and pastries at Coffee Kiicha were delicious. I stay once a week in a suite and have been pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms but last night I was shocked to find the bed infested with bed bugs, I called guest services and 30 later two employees come and I show them and the woman said that it was a tick, I use to work as a surgical technician at a animal hospital and I know what ticks look like, I've never seen a bed bug before so I compared it to a photo on google and it was the exact match, I took photos and videos of several bed bugs, so be careful if you choose to stay there read more

Usually I come here every Wednesday to play my free play, and enjoy some table games as well as some slot. While i'm there I also like to use my players card to get my gas at a discounted rate. Come to find out Soboba is no longer doing this nor is there gas cheaper on Wednesday. How ridiculous I enjoy this casino for its complementary services but since I can no longer benefit for these, I will go spend my money at Morongo. Maybe because I live in Las Vegas, and am used to a 'higher standard' I was there for three days on business, and stayed in the hotel I was underwhelmed by the over priced rooms (200+ a night) the lack of services (housekeeping never showed) (room shower leaked all over bathroom floor (bad design) and I had to reuse the 4 towels - 2 for the floor and two for me.) The window shade controller was broken, the shades where either fully opened (curtains and blackout shades) or closed. the CASINO the odds are terrible, the pay in was high, the jackpots (megabucks was 3 million, in Las Vegas its 10+ million) and the 'buy in' was $5 instead of the $3 normal. -- maybe because its in the 'middle of nowhere' people are desperate.
