When I chose this place for my wife's two week trip to London this summer, it was partly do to its location and because it was rated as a BW Plus, what a load of crap that is. This BW is by far the worst I've ever dealt with in the three plus decades I've patronized them. By BW normal standards, it falls completely short and the "PLUS" status should be removed, it is not that. From the shoddy interior conditions throughout and basic undone maintenance, to the poor uncaring staff, the unchecked stealing housekeeping service and the aggressive chauvinistic threatening management. This place is a complete ZERO and I have file a formal corporate complaint against them because of these events. Briefly, the housekeeping service while in my wife's room unattended stole her newly purchased very expensive Philip Treacy (the queens milliner) hat. There was no sign of forced entry and no one else had been in her room. After returning to the room from being gone all day, the zippered bag containing the headpiece was gone. As well the locked suitcase had been tampered with. Frightened and alarmed she called the front desk. To her dismay they offered no help. And insinuating that she was lying. She had to call the police herself to file a theft crime report and the hotel staff that evening did absolutely nothing to offer help or even empathy, unbelievable and unacceptable actions on their part. Afraid for her safety and made to feel uninvited and uncomfortable, we got online and secured her another hotel a few blocks away that evening as it was well past 11 pm by this time. Her bed was still unmade when she returned and she had to ask for the front desk for sheets to make the bed herself that evening on top of everything else. The next morning, she is waiting for the "general manager" Ronnie Cherian, I use that term lightly, finally showed up and my wife begins to tell him what happened he asks her to his office and then closes the door. At this point behind closed doors, he accuses her of lying to defraud his hotel, and as well becomes aggressively hostile and chauvinistic trying to intimidate her through this brief but frightening experience for her. I assure you, he would not have spoken to me that way or any other male for that matter. She felt so unsafe and his aggressive violent behavior towards her made her feel so threatened and violated, that she left his office as quickly as she could and left this hotel entirely two days early, moving to a much safer place and with a more professional compassionate staff at a hotel nearby. This Seraphine hotel, the staff and management are the worse. Lodgers beware, this is not a Best Western Plus on any level. Ronnie Cherian should be ashamed of his behavior towards a female patron. His staff is by far the most non customer service oriented ever encountered in all my years of travels. Additionally: The entire 14 day stay was billed up front when she checked in? I've never had a BW do that before ever. Even charged in advance on the future days not even used too? And charged a security deposit on top of that! What a scam. Poor shoddy tiny room quality for the money's spent. Dirty stained furniture and nasty funky stained carpeting throughout. Dirty un-maintained rooms, an unchecked stealing housekeeping service, unprofessional staff and an aggressive abusive chauvinistic management. This is not a BW+ in any way, with very misleading photographs of the property as well. As I said earlier I have contacted Best Western corporate offices and filed a formal complaint against this business, the staff and Ronnie Cherian in particularly for his aggressive abusive behavior. And spoken to my credit card company used on this trip to see what my legal options are against this organization. *Lodgers Beware, don't let your loved ones make the mistake of staying here, you may very well be jeopardizing their safety. I would not want my daughters or wife staying here unaccompanied having experienced what I'm dealing with now. 1 Star - because there is no zero. 00567 read more

this hotel is in no way of Best Western Plus quality and the website images are exceptionally deceiving. There are stains on the floors throughout the hotel and breakfast furniture. My room had a hole in the carpet by the bed and stain by the door. The wall paper was peeling off the wall in a large area and there was black mold in the corner of the widow by the ceiling. The curtains fell down once but the cleaning staff ignored that and I had to fix them myself. The room was the length of the old worn out twin size bed in the room and basically that wide. They didn't use sheets that fit my bed, a oversized mattress cover hung off the sides and a flat sheet was tucked in with no other sheet or blanket provided except a duvet. I had to request a top sheet every time they made the bed and use a blanket I had with me, as providing only a duvet as bedding in summer. One night they just remade the bed with the dirty sheets so I had to get sheets from the desk and make my own bed that night. The furniture was scratched up and worn in my room and the breakfast area. The bathroom lighting is too dark to use for make up. The water is scalding hot if you aren't careful. The WiFi is inconsistent at best and totally nonfunctional on many occasions during my extended stay and it is totally unprotected without a password. Also there was rarely more than one person working so the front desk was often unattended, leaving the front entrance unsecured. read more
The rooms here are small but have personally... First time I stayed here I had an electronic skylight, second time underfloor heating in the bathroom. I like that they give you bottles of free water and seem to genuinely appreciate your custom... Tiz the little things. Beware the breakfast, its poop. In Hammersmith I can choose here or Novotel with work. Even if it wasn't half the price here would always win. read more
This is a cracking wee hotel, it's on 2 tube lines and you can get into Central London in about 20mins. The rooms aren't massive but they are clean, well kept and stylish with a decent amount of storage and let's be honest they are only for sleeping in so you don't need a massive room. I have a decent sized flat screen tv and a CD player in my room. 1 wee grumble is I would like a plug socket next to the bed for charging my phone as I use it as an alarm clock. The staff I have spoken to have been really pleasant and helpful. One other annoying thing but it was booking.com rather than the hotel. There was quite a bit of a faff because my stay was booked through work and I didn't have the card that that was used for the booking. I haven't tried the breakfast but it's continental so it can't be awful. I have a huge walk in shower and air con as well as decent sized mugs in the room and a scrupulously clean kettle and complimentary bottled water. The whole hotel is very clean and plugs which makes it quiet, bonus for me is I'm on the top floor and my room is at the back of the building round a corner which makes it super quiet :-) oh you get half decent toiletries too. All in all a great wee hotel and I got it at a good price. read more
Very nice hotel in the Hammersmith area of London The rooms are tiny, but functional (you may get a room with a skylight instead of a window), internet is a tad slow but works The breakfast is ok, few choices but the basics are there Very well located, very easy to come by Underground from Heathrow (you have to walk a bit with your luggage but it's a short path) read more

Highly recommend. Great location, not very expensive, friendly service, free wireless, breakfast included. Rooms are not very large but clean, well lighted and quaint in a modern/updated way (older building). I'd return. read more

I liked staying here a lot and the location was great. Have been back a few times now due to training.
