I ended up sleeping on top of the bedding, using the top spread as a sheet. The only saving grace was the shower. Strong enough to give you a proper power shower experience! What let it down were the 2 loose tiles that when I pushed them against the wall, the wall gave way! Now there's a big hole in the wall, 4 tiles big! I cannot recommend this place at all. The guys who run it just don't seem to know what they are doing and aren't the happiest looking chappies either. For what we got, I thought it was very pricey. If your pets are room friendly, then they're pet friendly. My two cats have been great here - and housekeeping has been exceptional about making sure they're safe here while I'm not. There's free Wifi, a mini-fridge, a microwave, desk, shower, basic cable and a small coffee maker (with some free coffee and disposable cups). Want to know something about the area? Ask at the office. The lady who runs the place is incredibly nice, helpful and knowledgeable. She's been wonderful to talk to about the area and helped fill me in with local events, and even pointed me in the direction of a local orchard when I expressed interest in some local apples. There's a very, very friendly atmosphere here, and I've been made to feel most welcome. There's a lovely little bird garden - very small, but filled with bird houses and feeders and birds. It's very nice to sit and watch them :). Across the little garden there is an ice-cream shop that makes pretty good ice-cream and cotton candy. Across the road is a reasonably priced restaurant that opens at 6:00am to serve breakfast, and has a variety of lunches and dinners, as well. Within walking distance there's also a laundromat; VERY convenient for those of us around for any length of time. All in all, I would most DEFINITELY stay here again - especially for a long stay. I really can't recommend it enough. At around a third of the price of the nearest chain hotel, it's well, well worth it to stay here.

My wife is disabled and travels with a small service dog who is always vested, carries an ID card, and is registered and certified; this was noted in our online booking. This was our first stay at any B&B of *any* size; in the past two years we've spent 36 nights at hotels both independent and branded. The room we stayed in, the Moose Room, is very well-equipped with exquisite attention to detail. The bed was pleasure to sleep in and had the most comfortable sheets we've ever encountered in a hotel room. A two-person Kohler whirlpool tub is in the main room. We were astounded at how quickly the tub filled and we were never short of hot water. The shower has a very inexpensive nozzle on it; a removable or rainfall style showerhead would be more befitting the quality of the rest of the room. I can say that Tausheck's is an extremely high quality facility with extreme attention to detail and very comfortable rooms. The Tausheck's should be commended for the quality of the B&B. Unfortunately, I can't say we will be back since we now know that this isn't the type of place for us given our unique situation, which probably doesn't apply to you. If you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway in the "greater Sheboygan" area, I'd highly recommend Tausheck's and think you'd have a great time there. --postscript-- My previous review (which I edited and have subsequently raised the rating to three stars) dealt with some exchanges with the innkeepers specific to accommodating my spouse's service dog. Given that this was the first time that the innkeepers dealt with a service dog in their 12 years of existence, they did accommodate us the best they could with the knowledge they had at the time. We learned after our stay that inns of this size are exempt from the Americans with Disabilities Act as there are 5 or fewer rooms - see 28 C.F.R. § 36.104. This wasn't known to us, or the innkeepers at the time of our stay, so it's unfair for me to dive into the specifics. That being said, I hope that the B&B's web site is revised to reflect this so that any other guests having a similar situation to ours are aware in advance and can make the appropriate decision.

The Watershed Hotel was the perfect spot! Our stylish, immaculate room overlooked the Sheboygan River. Sheboygan's not large and the Watershed is just a few minutes from the town's historical downtown. We're looking forward to returning to Sheboygan and another stay at the WH!

At all. The room itself was ok. No tissues, no phone, one single deadbolt lock. The worst was the layout of the step-in shower. In a bold move the designers thought it was a good idea to have just one side of the shower door open so when you turn on the water you can't help but get soaked. Even if you hold the detachable shower head you have to let it go at some point so you can get out and let the water warm up. When you do, it flies around like a garden hose. I got soaked. Ridiculous. I checked out a day early. I was out of patience. Even at $120/night. I'll pass next time.
