Ended up ordering the water spinach (Kong xin cai), kung pao chicken, dried pot with lamb. The water spinach was fresh tasting and delicious, had a good veggie crunch, not soggy or overcooked. The kung pao chicken was also pretty good, well portioned and came with veggies (bell peppers). It was my first time having dry pot and I liked that it came with plenty of meat and veggies (bean sprouts, lotus root, cilantro, celery) and even had seaweed and tofu. Overall all were good dishes and hit that craving for Chinese food. They all came out quickly. Service was decent. Conveniently neighboring the asian grocery store Tink Holl, though that also means parking can be limited if the grocery store is also packed. Definitely will consider coming back.

She was very pleasant and professional. I ordered an excellent brown sugar milk tea along with a great cucumber salad and marvelous lamb chops. Some of the meatiest chops I have ever had. Just about everything is available with any level of heat you desire. I am typically very reserved when it comes to spicy foods. I find it hides the true flavors of the ingredients so I always order with no heat. My entire meal was prepared perfectly. My wife and our guests felt the same way about their selections. There was plenty of food to take home for another meal. Our final surprise was when we received our bill and discovered how affordable it was to eat so well. Words can't describe how much i like this place. The food is sooo great and never takes too long to make. The have a very wide variety of foods too, so there's something for whatever type of chinese food you're feeling at the time. Plus one of the workers remembered my mom, sister, and I whenever we would go in, so that really made me feel that they pay attention to each of their customers. It's a very nice place to go too, everyone should definitely try it at some point. read more

I ordered this from Door Dash and OMG! First off, they were fast, second, they were well priced, and third, they gave me sooooooo much food! Their sweet and sour sauce is pretty amazing and the portions will keep me and my partner fed for quite some time. That being, said the quality of the food is certainly a notch above where your expectations could reasonably be set. I have been here on numerous occasions and have sampled much of the menu, so for the purposes of this review I will concentrate on some of the standouts. The fried rice is amazing. I mean, truly and seriously amazing. Each bite is full of soft, pillowy rice and lots of vegetables (with the veggie fried rice) or chicken (with the chicken fried rice). I could eat this dish every day the rest of my life and still crave it the next morning. They have the standard array of soups, and all are pretty decent. They are served way too hot (must be heated up in the microwave), so just keep that in mind. The chicken lo mein and sesame chicken are both excellent, but the sesame chicken is only served as a full dinner. There are other dishes (such as General Tso's chicken) that are offered in the same manner. That's disappointing because what's better than sampling multiple Chinese dishes, right? The sweet & sour offerings are the only thing I've tried that I'd recommend avoiding. It's not that it's bad, per se, but it's just boring. Chunks of deep fried chicken served with a side of tangy sauce isn't the worst thing in the world, but it's not that different than what you can get absolutely anywhere. Not worth the grease and fat. One of the things that draws me to this place in the cleanliness of the restaurant. It's absolutely immaculate. The service is also very friendly. It's a family affair at China Wok with a man and a woman and two little kids always working. The little boy is always funny and friendly. He generally will talk to you as he sweeps the dining room as you wait on your food. Overall, if you live in the area and are in the mood for Chinese, don't hesitate to give this place a shot.

AMBIANCE: Simple surroundings with Chinese menus displayed on the monitors, red lanterns descending from the ceiling, simple art, and plants. The tones are light orange and peach. The dining room only has a few tables of four. The dining room also has a chest freezer that is unexpected. The decor is pretty dated yet exactly what you'd picture a Chinese restaurant to be. FOOD: Multi page has it all - appetizers, soups, fried rice, chow mein, chop suey, chow mein fun, egg foo young, lo mein, chef specialties, Hunan and Szechuan Specialties. There is also a small category with special diet dishes. The diet dishes include steamed veggies, some with shrimp and chicken. I ordered S22 - Honey Chicken ($12.75). It comes with a side of white rice, no egg roll. I took a few bites of the dish and settled for chips for dinner. Honey Chicken portion was generous and was in a separate container. Chicken pieces were very dry. They didn't seem to be cooked in sauce but rather sauce was added later. I heard some microwaving during meal preparation and it was probably for this sauce. Honey sauce is just melted honey. The two ingredients just aren't cohesive. Side white rice was small, too clumpy and dry. The meal wasn't at all enjoyable. SERVICE: The service was very intense. I got the impression that the employee did not want to cook anything at this point of the day. I have to say that meal prep was almost instant, much faster than at other Chinese food takeouts. The employee also welcomed me to return, which was nice. FREE TEA: The restaurant serves free hot tea (flavor unknown). Disposable glasses are available. It's a great treat for dine in or to go especially on frosty winter days. PARKING: Large plaza parking lot. Plenty of parking! Overall, it was a quick late evening stop with mediocre food. I was really craving Chinese food and was disappointed it wasn't good.

What arrived was a very tasty beef dish that unfortunately was mostly vegetables and without any trace of the "extra beef". It was almost as if my cardiologist intercepted the order and told the chef, "No, no, no... more veggies for Dan..." Tasty? Yes. Worth the $12 I paid for it? Not a chance. Minus one star. The General Tso's chicken was decent, and they obviously use a higher quality of chicken than most places do. There's just one major issue I have with that: I like my General Tso's to be the smaller chicken cuts of questionable origin that I've grown accustomed to. If I wanted huge pieces of chicken breasts in a barbecue-like sauce I'd just do it myself on a grill. Now, I know that General Tso's Chicken is like the chili of the Chinese food world: It's different at every place. Nonetheless, minus one star. Just like Aunt Suzy's recommendation, this was a letdown.
