Sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice
    Noodle T.

Ordered the sweet and sour chicken, shrimp fried rice with cho chos. The meat in the cho cho was old! After finding out about that we was too nervous to eat the rest of the food. Now we have to get dinner somewhere else after spending $25 on dinner. Years ago they were the best! Now they just trash! One the plus side the food came out hot, but it wasn't fresh! Don't do it!

I got a flyer on my truck which normally annoys me but I called the Best Wok and tried it out. 30 min later I was devouring some wonderful foods. I'm thankful for whoever put that menu on my windshield.

    "Large" chicken lo mein
    Roshad D.

Fast and good, the only major issue was the small serving of chicken lo mein, we got a large but it wasnt very big, barely feeds 2 people. The crab ragoon was good but they are small so they come as a 10 piece so at least its a good amount. Sweet and sour chicken meal was normal. The fried rice was fine a bit dry, and the chicken was a generous helping. It was good food but nothing special stood out, i wouldn't say its better than china wok or other Chinese places on the area. Pretty basic. Spent about 27 bucks for it all so thats not so bad but again the "large" chicken lo mein was really skimpy and not very much chickem either, but at least the flavor was good. The place wasnt very busy at all but i expect it to be quick no matter what (im always told my order will be ready in 10 min when i order chinese no matter the order size lol). They cook very fast and get the order together in no time.

    Beef with garlic lunch special

So, we were looking for a quick lunch and decided on chinese. The place by our house is bit very good, and I checked yelp to find a new one. THANK YOU Yelp!! The food was great, fast, flavorful and my favorite part... it was plentiful! We ordered the lunch special $4.95. You can't beat that price for lunch!

What a disappointment today. I ordered orange flavored beef from Best Wok which is one of my favorite fast food Chinese places. If there was a ounce of beef in this dish I would be shocked. It was all breading and fat. It was gross! The only saving grace was the orange sauce is absolutely delicious. I poured the sauce over the rice and that was dinner but had to throw the rest of it away.

    Chicken with Mixed Vegetables

You mean the worst wok. Had the chicken and mixed vegetables which I thought was a very simple choice. The dish is 100% raw and had 0% seasoning not even a trace of salt or pepper. Chicken is as white as an onion. The vegetables still have their raw crunch like it came out of a salad. I was so disappointed because my first experience wasn't bad at all but that was a while ago. Not worth the risk of food poison! Please save yourself a trip to the toilet!

Always yummy, piping hot, and most importantly they deliver to me in Algiers, very quickly I might add! Keep up the great food and service!

My last visit I ordered dinner for the family and we all shared the dishes. Everything taste fresh and every bite had my tongue dancing with flavor.

The name may have shortened, but the experience is still just as memorable. From the outside, you're not really sure what you're about to walk into. You get a hint of the Asian aesthetic, but you don't realize how immersive it's going to feel. Then you open the door. Right at the entrance is a koi fish pond with a small bridge over it. No, you can't walk across the bridge, but the koi are real, and you walk right by them on your way to the dining room. It immediately sets the tone. The dining room itself feels like you've stepped straight into China. The decor, the lighting, the details, everything transports you. It matches the cuisine and elevates the entire dining experience. The waitresses are incredibly sweet, respectful, patient, and kind. They answered all of my questions about the menu without hesitation and made sure we felt comfortable. The service feels authentic and attentive without being rushed. I ordered the boneless chicken with vegetables, fried rice, and egg rolls. The homemade egg rolls are always my favorite. You can absolutely tell they're hand rolled and not pulled from a freezer. The boneless chicken is made with hand cut chicken breast, and the batter is soft and flaky. It almost melts in your mouth. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The portion sizes are generous. It's definitely a eat now, eat later, and maybe even share with a friend kind of place. If you've only ever ordered takeout from here, you are missing half the experience. Sit down inside and take it all in. It's one thing to eat Chinese food. It's another thing to feel like you've been transported while doing it. This place leaves an impression.

Thankfully, Magazine Street offers plenty to do to pass the time! When we were finally seated, our table was toward the back near the kitchen. The interior is a cozy but tightly packed space, which means it gets pretty loud with all the chatter bouncing around. However, any issues with the crowded feel vanish once the food arrives. The food and service easily make up for it. Our waiter brought out complimentary fried beef dumplings with a house-made chili sauce that tasted incredible. We ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice (shrimp, pork, chicken, egg, pineapple, and onions) and it was absolute perfection. We also got the lightly battered Orange Ginger Chicken with broccoli, which had amazing flavor. Well worth the visit!
