Professional and done properly. Very pleased with the work and the clean-up afterwards. Would likely recommend.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Ron for his exceptional service. Yesterday morning, I…read morecontacted him to address a sink issue involving both clogging and leakage. Ron promptly arrived, conducted a thorough inspection, and developed an effective plan of action. His expertise is truly unmatched. Ron has been our trusted plumber for nearly a decade, and his dedication to our community, as well as his family-owned business, is commendable. I highly recommend Ron for his loyalty, expertise, and affordability.

Big Thanks to Ron A.C.T. Plumbing and Property Management !…read moreI changed my under sink water filter the day prior to foot surgery knowing filter was going to need to be replaced before I could get back to it. When we returned home from surgery we had water in cabinet and on the floor. Wife tried to "snug" it a little more; still leaked. So she turned the water off. We had used A.C.T. Plumbing and Property Management before so I left a message for them late Sunday. Ron called 1st thing Monday. I explained our situation and that the water was turned off so no rush. He was here the next day and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. To add to that, since we were already paying for the call, we had asked him to move the filter location. He said he would not suggest it, because of age of the filter system we should wait until this one died; the new ones size might be different. We've used other plumbers who would have been more than happy to charge us to move the old one. He's honest and is not out for the quick buck and cares about his customers, we will always use A.C.T. Plumbing. As a side note, he's a Hampshire business. Keep it local!

Fast HONEST service!…read more Our furnace started making noises as we came out of the -30F Polar Vortex. Since we had a good experience with a humidifier repair a while back, we decided to give Hampshire Heating and Cooling another call. They came out on Monday afternoon, and everything seemed to check out OK. Bob, the tech, said that sometimes these things could be intermittent, but that they would come back if the problem happened again. Today the furnace was making the noise again. I made a quick video and sent it to them. When my wife came home at about 3PM, the furnace was making a loud buzzing sound, but was not putting out any heat. I called Hampshire Heating again, and they had Bob call me back to say he'd be out around 5:30. Bob found the problem quickly; we needed a new blower motor. Fortunately he came prepared with the proper part. He finished the repair, and was able to get us up and running quickly. Since he'd been out the day before, there was no additional trip charge. The cost of the blower motor was actually a bit less than we expected. We are very pleased that they could come out quickly, and get the unit fixed so we did not have to go a night without heat. We will definitely use them for our future HVAC needs.

Yes there was an upcharge for weekend service. But I was glad for his help. It is 85 today. Bruce is very experienced. He comes in his work van with his name on the side. Inside are all the various tools and extra parts. I originally asked for Bruce to come to replace a run capacitor, which he did, but he explained that it was another part which caused this part to fail. Because he keeps extra parts in his van, he had to part so a second trip was not needed. I also asked Bruce to check my freon pressure which he did. My house is 17 years old and it is normal for the pressure to go down. I needed 1/2 lb to improve the cooling speed of my air conditioner. What I liked about Bruce is he explained thoroughly what he was doing and why he was doing it. This was important to me because we did more than I originally though, but it was work that needed to get done, I understood his explanations and I am glad to get it all fixed at one time. While Bruce was here I also asked him to look at my water heater and give me an estimate. My water heater is 17 years old and I think it is going to fail. Some HVAC companies will tell you that a air conditioning unit of 17 years will need replacement. My advise to you is to find an HVAC pro you can trust, like Bruce and only replace what is needed. Everything breaks down after a while, but don't just replace something because it is old. Replace it because it is no longer cost effective to fix. Highly recommended.
