Eugenia called me and asked if Michael could stop by EARLIER than scheduled. I was happy to accommodate that request. Michael is knowledgeable and efficient. He knows time is money. He quickly installed the sump pump and we headed to the kitchen sink. He checked a few things on the faucet and had the matter resolved in a matter of minutes. Great service. Michael is a hard worker and Eugenia is very pleasant on the phone. I highly recommend calling Friendly Plumbing. I have used them for many years and I have always been satisfied with their work.

He called, they listened to his explanation of what happened and promptly scheduled to come out the next day to fix this issue. Mike is a true honest business owner that genuinely cares about his customers and goes well beyond the norm in regards to typical customer service. I was following the designated parent exit procedure, pulling onto the shoulder that is clearly meant for parents to merge safely. I had my children in the back seat. Out of nowhere, a man driving like a maniac--apparently affiliated with All Family Plumbing--came speeding up behind me trying to bypass stopped traffic and nearly rear-ended my car. Again, my kids were inside. He then aggressively swerved around me at high speed and actually slowed down just to scream profanities, leaning up and down out of his driver's seat like an unhinged person. It was shocking, hostile, and completely unsafe. This was one of the ugliest and most disturbing displays of road rage I have ever witnessed. He put my children's lives in danger and then had the nerve to act enraged because his illegal, reckless driving didn't save him a few seconds. If this is the kind of behavior tolerated or represented by All Family Plumbing employees, I would never recommend this company to anyone. Professionalism, safety, and basic human decency were completely absent.

This company is GREAT! After another company replaced my furnace and messed it up by miss matching…read morethe plenum size and furnace I got McHenry to do it. The other furnace was crap and only lasted a year before the blower failed (because of the pressure miss match caused by the plenum mismatch). They replaced the furnace with a good one, AND got it up off the floor like it SHOULD have been. In addition to correcting the plenum, they put a NEW and correct filter housing on it. That doesn't seem like a big thing except the prior company had some dummy install a filter housing with the screws facing IN to the slot where the filter sits making it a real pain to replace. So ya, I definitely recommend them.

Asked their technician to come out to perform an inspection and provide a report for potential home buyers. They failed to provide the service and have failed to follow up on phone calls and emails. The report was a simple invoice with notes. This would have been acceptable except for the report containing notes contradicting the verbal report the technician gave. They added notes such as "could crack any day" and "recommend replacement" immediately after noting the HVAC system was in good condition. I don't appreciate their effort to gain business at my expense, their dishonesty adding notes to the report they never discussed verbally during their inspection, or their lack of customer service. These issues were shared with them in an attempt to resolve them and they have not responded (phone or email) since they said they would get back to me over a month ago. They do not care about addressing customer concerns or following through on the service they promise.

However, after our latest experience, we will no longer be using this company. About 3 weeks ago our water heater (which we bought through them) started leaking. We called immediately, got an appointment and they sent a guy out within a couple of days. He came and looked at it, said oh your leak is in a weird place so we'll see if the heater is still under warranty. Ok, fine. He didn't fix anything but said if we needed a new one they would give us some prices and options. A week goes by with no word so my husband calls and they say they are still trying to negotiate with the company to get us some sort of refund. Ok....water heater still leaking but would be nice to not have to pay more than we have to. At that point we get ghosted. No follow up calls, nothing. This morning our water heater springs a giant leak and water is all over our basement! I call and am told sorry nothing we can do, you'll have to call Home Depot and have them put one in!!!!! REALLY??!! After 3 weeks there is NOTHING you can do?? I would have been fine if they had said hey it will take a day or two but we will take care of it. Nope! Nothing! After this many years. We weren't expecting immediate service but any service at all would have been nice!! Do not waste your time or money. I'm sure there are other local companies that are not big conglomerates like Home Depot who need the work. We are looking to find one now.
