Best Fresh Photographer for Intimate New Hope, PA Weddings!…read more We had the pleasure of working with Kasey Ivan Photography for our wedding in New Hope, PA. When we set out looking for someone, we were overwhelmed because honestly it's not every day that you think about how you would like to be photographed and then have to put it into words. We weren't going traditional; we had an intimate outdoor wedding at a B&B with a rustic and simple elegance. We knew what we didn't want, the "standard wedding photographer"... someone that churns out the same photo for every couple and then upsells them the standard coffee table book. From there we figured out that what was important to us. We wanted someone with a fresh eye. My fiance came across his website after a LOT of searching and it had a refreshing feel to it. Kasey's photos captured actual emotion. We met Kasey in person and he was genuinely passionate about what he did and was interested in our story. When he said that the more involved with our love story he was, the more emotion he could put into the photography. SOLD. He asked us lots of questions. We talked for a while and by the time we left we wanted to hire someone else...so we could INVITE HIM AS A GUEST! He was a great listener, answered our questions, referred a videographer and makeup artist, AND his fees were much more realistic than many of the other outfits. There was no way we were going to pay several thousands of dollars for a photographer's assistant that we haven't met, to come follow us around for 8 hours. And the bonus was that he didn't try to force a printed book on us. He was perfectly fine with giving the electronic files. We decided to do a First Look session before the ceremony for many reasons. At first, I was against it because I wanted to be able to see his face for the first time as I walked down the aisle. Kasey suggested that I could walk up to my fiance while his back was turned and tap him on the shoulder. That way he wouldn't actually see me walking up to him. This made ALL the difference in the world and now we are so glad we did it. I can't even express how important, peaceful and meaningful that time was. We were able to stare at each other, feel the emotion, take the time to connect privately...(while being photographed and filmed). I learned later that Kasey even helped my fiancé put on his cufflinks. What an amazing individual. Anyway, even if his photos sucked we would still give him great reviews, but we got our USB drives and finally had the time to go through them. They were exactly what we asked for; we got amazing shots full of emotion from the First Look, breathtaking posed shots around the barn and property, and then the "not posed" action shots we wanted...unscripted real life. There are some awful shots of people's faces, but that's what happens in real life. I'm grateful he didn't remove those because we wanted to see it all! And just to top it off, towards the end of the night we asked him to join us on the dance floor. He was so much fun and danced a jig...or maybe it was moshing, not sure...but it was late. He fit right in and that's what kind of photographer we wanted. Thank you Kasey!

With 24 hours to go they began predicting the worst blizzard of the year (36 inches with 60mph winds). At the last minute we moved the entire wedding forward a day. In the chaos, I only had time to leave a rather incoherent message about the change. To be honest, I half expect her not to make it. I would have understood. But the morning of the wedding, we got a text: "on my way if you still need me." She showed up and immediate got what we were going for. She was easy going and unobtrusive, but more than we ever expected, she still somehow managed to always be in the right place at the right time. She captured those beautiful fleeting moments we felt, but without the photos would never have been able to remember. We can't recommend her highly enough.

We hired Greg to DJ our wedding and we could not be happier with out choice. He was so much fun…read more He kept the night running smooth. He is a down to earth fun guy with lots of experience in the music industry (look up Santa rap on YouTube) including DJing, karaoke, lighting and he has done so many awesome events(including some acting). He was easy to work with and easy to get a hold of. I loved his website for clients, in which I got to create my playlist for the night, create an itinerary for the night and input lots of other information to plan our celebration. On the day of our event he set up uplifting and a light show behind his DJ booth. He kept the crowd dancing and engaged in the festivities. The place was big so we had some difficulty hearing him in he back. He did some late night karaoke, complete with all the words music and mics. He took song requests and kept an upbeat vibe with the occasional love song for the happy newly weds. I would recommend him for any event. He was awesome!

We really loved Chris R's relaxed style and when we got the results back we ended up buying the entire disc! We hired both Chris and Chris for the entire day and we couldn't have had a better experience. They really add the right amount of drama and traditional to get a perfect result. I didn't want anything over-dramatic, but I didn't want anything too plain either. If that is what you are looking for - they do a fantastic job. We just got back our wedding photos and couldn't be happier. They were running around all night snapping shots and the results were awesome. We had about 1400 to go through and purchased the disc through our package. Also Chris Riley made it easy when we asked him about packages. My husband and I specifically did not want albums, since we like to make them ourselves, and we ended up designing a package which was exactly what we wanted. Thanks Chris and Chris for superb work! We initially had to cancel our date with him due to sickness, and he happily obliged with no issue. I couldn't be present for the rescheduled shoot, but my family told me Grant was great and that the shoot itself was fun, which is about as much as you could possibly ask when something involves a 3 year old :) Additionally, Grant seems to default to delivery of images on disc, but when I asked if he could simply send me a digital transfer he immediately created a Dropbox folder & shared -- no questions asked. The pictures were exactly what we were hoping for -- casual, in motion, just capturing the moment-to-moment of a child's young life.
