She is so talented in capturing not only the formal posed pictures, but also the candid, fun pictures that tell the story of the event. My relatives all commented to me how impressed they were with how she organized the large group pictures quickly and efficiently, and then slipped into the background capturing emotional moments without any of us realizing it. She is an incredible professional and I HIGHLY recommend her!

We were more than surprised by the results of Sioban and her Photo Booth camper, which is awesome. She made a believer in me and showed me images that I never thought we'd own. She first met with us for our engagement photos. We moved around the city to key locations to get those images we wanted. Not only did Sioban capture those images, but she also grabbed shots that I thought only existed in magazines. When it started to snow, she moved us quickly to grab and amazing moment captured for a lifetime. Those moments are well documented on our wedding day. From her arrival, she came through the door snapping images of artifacts I would never have thought about. She spent the better part of the morning with my wife and then met with me. She was beside us for the better part of the day. I could go on and on. She captured every moment and then some. Let me take a moment to explain that her photos are not your traditional stand in a line and smile. She will do some for keepsakes, but she has a better eye than a line. She finds the moments that reflect the day and convey real emotion. She is creative, thoughtful and most of all professional. She has a radar for a great image. People are still asking us how we get our wedding photos. We also took her up on using a Photo Camper; yes really! It's not what you think. She has taken a vintage camper and repurposed it into a way cool and hip photo camper. My guest all loved the camper and we had trouble getting many guest out of it to come in for dinner. They wanted to stay and continue using the props. They even wanted photos outside of the camper because it's as cool as the inside. Here cost was more than competitive. You might be considering a few photographers. Yes, you can find cheap photographers, but you can't put a price on the moment or more importantly a moment missed. Her cost is far below her value. I've seen the work of photographers in the $5,000-$10,000 range and her work competes with them all day long. If I were looking for a photographer today, I'be be driving to her to give that deposit before my date is gone. Thank You Sioban and your crew for an outstanding and memorable wedding day that I'll get to share with my family and friends for a lifetime!

The stepping stones, water features, and flowers provided a captivating backdrop. The photographer developed a friendly rapport with our son immediately, which worked wonders. We were allowed to change clothes during the shoot and had a wonderful relaxed day at the ocean capturing memories. Before I booked I asked if we would be provided a password-protected online web gallery with our proofs. I was told yes. That was a lie. About a month after the photo shoot we logged in to a screen-sharing program from Maine to Washington. We spoke on the phone with Lucia as she slowly showed us images to choose from. This was not a password-protected web page, this was a live duplicate of her computer's screen. From her desktop she controlled display of the images. She could click through on a thumbnail to enlarge a photo, and she could crop images if she so choose. She was driving. This was absolutely not a web page we could peruse at our leisure. The process of figuring out how much the package would cost was simply excruciating. To establish a price point we were told several times during the phone conversation, "The price depends on how many prints you get. I don't know how many you can't live without, so I can't answer your question now . . ." Seriously, that is a quote that I remember many months later. "I need to show you all of the photos before we can discuss price." Seriously. We asked four times and four times were told we could not discuss price. Then the sale needed be closed. Near the end of the call she proceeded to rattle off three or four packages which involved mental arithmetic so fast she lost my Microsoft software developer husband. We had to write down the prices. We had to ask her to and click on images, over, and over, and over. We couldn't see the images side by side. This may be shrewd business practice, but it is not the optimal customer service experience. The process bothered me a lot. The reason I felt so manipulated was because I was lied to about our being able to see the prints on a password-protected web page. That was false advertising. If you are reading my Yelp review and planning a photo shoot, please beware. If you do a wedding or other once-in-a-lifetime experience, I hope you can sign a contract in advance with the prices - not just of the shoot, but of the full package options. I did not ask for that in advance and I wish I had. Two more things I want potential customers to know: Number one, I had no itemized invoice. Yeah, that's kind of important, now that I think about it. I had no proof that I paid for a print to be shipped to my mother. When I called about a month after my mother's birthday I asked my mom about the print I had ordered for her. (Mom said she hadn't received anything.) I called Lucia immediately. Lucia checked my customer record, and said she could not immediately find an order for my mother. I persisted and asked her to look at my invoice. After several minutes she clicked a few buttons on her machine and said (with honest surprise in her voice), "Oh you DID order another print, but it was going to ship to another address." She apologized profusely. The 10"×10" print was sent to my mother; my mother was incredibly angry when I told her what happened. She said, "You should call the Better Business Bureau on them!" Number two, the company misrepresents the privacy practices they say there are providing to customers. Here is a quote from the e-mail that explained how I could get my digital download: "If you have any questions or problems downloading the filed [sic] please let us know, we will be happy to help! Once you have completed the download, please save it to your computer because the link on our site will only be available for download for [in red] 10 days." The digital downloads are still there today. The digital downloads of about a dozen other people are also there, with no password protection. The photography and resulting prints are five star work. Two stars means "meh, I've experienced better." I've worked with three other professional photography studios and never encountered this kind of foolishness.

Best Fresh Photographer for Intimate New Hope, PA Weddings!…read more We had the pleasure of working with Kasey Ivan Photography for our wedding in New Hope, PA. When we set out looking for someone, we were overwhelmed because honestly it's not every day that you think about how you would like to be photographed and then have to put it into words. We weren't going traditional; we had an intimate outdoor wedding at a B&B with a rustic and simple elegance. We knew what we didn't want, the "standard wedding photographer"... someone that churns out the same photo for every couple and then upsells them the standard coffee table book. From there we figured out that what was important to us. We wanted someone with a fresh eye. My fiance came across his website after a LOT of searching and it had a refreshing feel to it. Kasey's photos captured actual emotion. We met Kasey in person and he was genuinely passionate about what he did and was interested in our story. When he said that the more involved with our love story he was, the more emotion he could put into the photography. SOLD. He asked us lots of questions. We talked for a while and by the time we left we wanted to hire someone else...so we could INVITE HIM AS A GUEST! He was a great listener, answered our questions, referred a videographer and makeup artist, AND his fees were much more realistic than many of the other outfits. There was no way we were going to pay several thousands of dollars for a photographer's assistant that we haven't met, to come follow us around for 8 hours. And the bonus was that he didn't try to force a printed book on us. He was perfectly fine with giving the electronic files. We decided to do a First Look session before the ceremony for many reasons. At first, I was against it because I wanted to be able to see his face for the first time as I walked down the aisle. Kasey suggested that I could walk up to my fiance while his back was turned and tap him on the shoulder. That way he wouldn't actually see me walking up to him. This made ALL the difference in the world and now we are so glad we did it. I can't even express how important, peaceful and meaningful that time was. We were able to stare at each other, feel the emotion, take the time to connect privately...(while being photographed and filmed). I learned later that Kasey even helped my fiancé put on his cufflinks. What an amazing individual. Anyway, even if his photos sucked we would still give him great reviews, but we got our USB drives and finally had the time to go through them. They were exactly what we asked for; we got amazing shots full of emotion from the First Look, breathtaking posed shots around the barn and property, and then the "not posed" action shots we wanted...unscripted real life. There are some awful shots of people's faces, but that's what happens in real life. I'm grateful he didn't remove those because we wanted to see it all! And just to top it off, towards the end of the night we asked him to join us on the dance floor. He was so much fun and danced a jig...or maybe it was moshing, not sure...but it was late. He fit right in and that's what kind of photographer we wanted. Thank you Kasey!

We have had the absolute worst experience ever with Noelle Fochler's Photography. My husband and I…read morehad decided to have her be our wedding photographer because we had seen her work and her pictures came out beautiful. I suppose I should of known better after our experience with her doing our Engagement Pictures. She had to cancel/reschedule our appointment we made with her a good four to five times. She would always texted us last minute with some lame excuse about how she was unable to meet us the day of. It took us two different sessions to finally complete our pictures. Once the pictures were completed she took 4 months to finally give us our burned cd of pictures. Again she would come up with excuse after excuse why it took her four months to burn our pictures on to a cd. She showed up the day of our wedding and took our pictures as she was suppose to. Our wedding was September 10th 2011 and by November 1st after still not hearing any response from her I started to try to get in contact with her in regards to our wedding pictures. She will not answer her phone, return voice messages, text messages, facebook messages, emails, etc. until you hound her five or six times. She finally responded telling me how her external hard drive crash and she had NOT backed up our wedding pictures to another drive and already deleted them off her camera. She promised us she would be sending the hard drive away to get fixed but always came up with an excuse, yet again, why she hadn't. She actually lied straight to us three different times telling us that she had indeed sent the hard drive away to the company and was just waiting to hear back from them. We found out that she was lying to us by actually calling up the company ourselves and asking them if she had sent in her hard drive and all three times they told us no. Long long long story short, August 2012(ALMOST A WHOLE YEAR LATER) she tells us the company is unable to save any data from her hard drive and that all our pictures are gone. She claims she will refund our money but of course we would rather have our wedding pictures than our refund. She also told us we would have to be patient with her since she doesn't have the money right now. We have been more than patient with her at this point. She has not once returned a single phone call of ours and takes forever to respond to any of our other ways of communication. She is the most unprofessional, irresponsible photographer ever. She single handed ruined our wedding and I am begging you not to waste your precious time with her. We have since heard horrible reviews about her from every single other wedding couple that we have spoken with. Karma WILL come back to haunt her!

I love the style and how well they blended the natural environment and elements of our venue into the shots. There's a great balance between the details and the documentary style shots, and candid portraits of the wedding party and guests. Leading up to the wedding, we had no problem getting our questions answered and paying through their online invoicing system. We were able to visit the office and meet our photographers ahead of time and the whole experience was wonderful. We were welcomed with warmth and cupcakes! They pay attention to the details of the whole experience. This is a top-notch company. I had two disappointments (which is the reason why I didn't give a 5-star review. It would be 4.5 if I could!). The first is that photog team did not set up any fill lights for the formal portraits. I should have asked about this ahead of time, but I thought it was standard for professional portraits. At least at every wedding I have been to, there were a few diffusers or flashes set up even if the shooters were photojournalism/documentary style wedding photographers. The faces and eye sockets are more shadowed than I would have hoped. Also, in retrospect, we weren't getting any fun alternate angles for the group portraits, like looking over our shoulders, holding out our bouquets, holding hands, or moving to have a different background such as the lake in addition to having trees as the background. Alas! The second disappointment is that despite two photogs being there for over an hour while there was live music at our reception, we didn't receive a single image of the amazing seven-piece band in action. I would definitely recommend emilie inc. - just make sure you communicate about exactly what your expectations are ahead of time. Once the wedding schedule gets rolling, it is hard to remember your photography wish list. There are more important things to focus on, like being present for your loved ones and celebration! :)

Finding the right photographer you can rely on to capture the essence and beauty of a wedding can be a stressful task for any bride. That is why I set out to select a photographer as one of my first tasks after getting engaged. I am very fortunate to know a lot of wonderful wedding photographers but felt the best connection to Emilie. I knew from the beginning that we were in good hands. Emilie even called to talk to me about my vision for the wedding on her family vacation to Disney! She works masterfully with angles and lighting to capture moments in the most creative and elegant ways possible. We loved the way she interacted with us and our guests to make us all feel comfortable and at ease throughout the ceremony and reception. Emilie captures emotion at its purest and most candid moments, so that when you look back, you can easily relive those precious memories. Emilie definitely helped make our day feel even more special, and we're so incredibly happy with our choice of selecting her as our photographer to capture one of the most important days of our lives.
