After sticking a pin in the front (which took a minute) I requested that the woman pin it up so I could assess the length while sitting down. she screeched for her husband who barked at me in broken English that they don't do that. He also told me I was TOO OLD to wear it that short. I look great in mini dresses and will wear whatever I want. I've had dozens of dresses like this shortened. But to get them to lower their voices I said I would simply bring it home and measure it against another dress for length and come back. At NO TIME did I ever say I would go elsewhere. These people barely speak English, and whoever is writing responses is lying for them. At any rate, to get them to stop acting like animals I simply shrugged and asked them to take in a camisole that is quite baggy. For reasons I'll never understand when I came out the rude unprofessional owner began screaming at me to get out of the store. I know what happened. They know what happened. They were horrible. To make it worse they are lying about what happened. if they would admit to how they acted and apologize I would take these reviews down. Bit because they are liars on top of everything else, I intend to find every way I can report their behavior, including reaching out to others who've had these kinds of experiences and encouraging them to come forward. These people are not fit to run a business and they owe me an apology. This is not over.

Before going to Ace French dry cleaners, I went to several other cleaners closer to my residence, but unfortunately, no one could Steam the dress the same day. Peter and his family took it upon themselves to stop everything they were doing and steam the dress for me on the spot without question, even though I was never a customer there before. While waiting for the dress, I had the opportunity to observe how they treat their customer , and it makes me so happy to know that there are still family operated businesses out there that care not only about the work they do but the people who bring them business. Upon entering the store, it seemed like they knew everybody and greeted everyone by their first name with a warm loving smile and polite chit chat! I usually don't write yelp reviews, but I felt overwhelmingly compelled that I had to let everyone possible know about my experience that a Desperate situation into one of extreme happiness and hope. Ace French dry cleaners is a family owned business with a lot of heart and compassion runner by people who love what they do and love the people that they serve. Well she charged me at their Overpriced same day service. The next day I asked the owner how their same day service works and how much it was. He said drop off by 9 am pick up by 3 pm same day cost $18. So when I questioned why I was charged for this service when I was picking it up the next day he tried to change his story. Their sign also say there is an extra charge for "same day" service not overnight service. It was my first time and last time going there. I like to support local businesses but not this one. And by the way their listing shows in business for 10+ years. Its a lie. They are new at this location. Its why they only have 39 (now 40) reviews. I've been going to other businesses in that complex for years. There were not there.

This was the Tuesday before a Friday night prom. The owner (I don't know her name) was very sympathetic and supportive! She understood the stress of the situation.
