After sticking a pin in the front (which took a minute) I requested that the woman pin it up so I could assess the length while sitting down. she screeched for her husband who barked at me in broken English that they don't do that. He also told me I was TOO OLD to wear it that short. I look great in mini dresses and will wear whatever I want. I've had dozens of dresses like this shortened. But to get them to lower their voices I said I would simply bring it home and measure it against another dress for length and come back. At NO TIME did I ever say I would go elsewhere. These people barely speak English, and whoever is writing responses is lying for them. At any rate, to get them to stop acting like animals I simply shrugged and asked them to take in a camisole that is quite baggy. For reasons I'll never understand when I came out the rude unprofessional owner began screaming at me to get out of the store. I know what happened. They know what happened. They were horrible. To make it worse they are lying about what happened. if they would admit to how they acted and apologize I would take these reviews down. Bit because they are liars on top of everything else, I intend to find every way I can report their behavior, including reaching out to others who've had these kinds of experiences and encouraging them to come forward. I found this place while searching online for a tailor to repair a tear in my coat. The reviews…read moreseemed decent, so I felt comfortable bringing in three items for dry cleaning, including a $400 coat that needed a small repair. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The seamstress was not there when I dropped of the coat, they said that she will look and see if she can fix it and let me know by phone. I then find out that she "fixed" my coat without consulting me first, claiming the repair was necessary for the dry cleaning process. In doing so, she actually made the tear worse and ended up ruining the coat. When I tried to address the issue with the staff, the situation only got worse. The employees became defensive, rude, and belligerent. The interaction escalated to the point where I felt uncomfortable and unsafe in the store, as two male associates were behaving aggressively. I haven't even evaluated the quality of the dry cleaning yet, but at this point it's hard to say the service was worth the cost of a ruined $400 coat and the unpleasant treatment I received. It's especially disappointing because I had hoped I'd found a reliable dry cleaning and tailoring service close to home.
