Okay, I have become an immediate fan. I got the Black Jack Burger - Blackened Seasoning, Pepper Jack Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Thousand Island Dressing on my first visit. A smash burger type experience where all the flavors came together well. Nothing was overwhelming, nothing was missing in action. A single was more than enough for me too. Service was great, though stop biting your nails at the register, and the food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. The place is a lot larger than I imagined. Good amount of outdoor seating as well. The decor is funky. It feels a bit 50s, a bit dinerish, somewhat gone fishin', and I don't know what else. No, it's not perfect. But definitely a local go-to for a burger craving. read more

The ambiance (8.5 out of 10)is great! I did observe a larger person struggle to fit in one of their chairs however. The staff (9.2) are very friendly and helpful. The French fries are a 9.5 with the malt vinegar and 9.2 without. I'm not sure what I didn't like about the hot dog (7.5). I think it was the chili that tasted like it came from a can and overwhelmed the hot dog. It also broke through the cotton of the bun. I have a feeling it would have been much better without the chili...very did disappointing! read more

We love Beth's Burger Bar! The burgers are better than Five Guy's burgers. The tots are the best! We've also tried the fried pickles, onion rings and okra as sides, all solid. They have a few draft beers and a decent selection of bottles/cans. They have toys for kids while they wait which helps a lot! The only hiccup we've ever had is some servers will let you sub tots for fries in the kids meals, some will argue that they can't do it. read more

I don't understand why this place has an overall 3.9 stars. Is it bad? No. But Beth's is nothing more than an overpriced burger joint. Just about every hamburger joint & STEAK place in the area gives you a better burger & more for your money. I had a Pabst, mushroom swiss burger and parmesan garlic fries and I paid over $20! And nothing I ate was special at all. You say one girl makes better burgers than 5 guys, well you are dead wrong! I'll take a 5 guys, Wendy's or Culver's burger over Beth's any day! read more

OMG this place was so delicious! Just had it for the first time and I was super impressed. You order at the counter, fast, casual style. Menu is kinda hard to see and wished they had hard copies to look at closer to the door, but we made it work. Service was fast and friendly. Not a huge area to sit inside however rather large patio which was nice. We tried two different burgers and both were so juicy and flavorful. For sides we tried the Mac and cheese bites and cheese curds. Both were good but the large mac and cheese bites were cooler, if not slightly cold, in the center. The cheese curds were as good as Culver's or the fair though. No doubt, if I am craving a good burger and I am in the area, I'm coming here. Can't wait to come back and try another one. read more

I've driven past this burger spot plenty of times and decided to give it a try. It's fast casual where you can order your burger to be loaded with exactly what you want. There is a selection of patty types, free toppings and premium options, and lots of sauces. The sides were a large variety of seasoned fries, tots, and other fried options. There are some specialty burgers, but they didn't interest me too much. I ordered a single patty, all the way (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayo), with cheddar and bacon. The parm fries were so tasty. The portion of the sides did look small, but I thought it was just enough to not be so wasteful when I don't finish them all. The food came out fast and the outside patio was really nice in the evening. I look forward to coming back and trying another burger combo. read more

FINALLY got to experience this place after driving by it so many times! We tried a smattering of items: chicken parm burger, black and blue burger, build your own, garlic parm fries, cheese curds, seeet potato fries, tots, milkshakes....literally everything is good and the prices are very reasonable! I also found the cashier to be helpful and knowledgeable when I was stuck between my options. I would like to try the milkshakes again, my cookie dough shake was a little on the milky side and could've used a bit more oomph in flavor, but could've been a one off considering everything else was so dang good! read more

My husband gets the credit for finding this gem. He was looking for restaurants that we haven't yet tried and saw rave reviews for Beth's Burger Bar. They have several locations, but we chose to eat at their Lake Mary location as it's the closest location to our home. The Lake Mary Beth's Burger Bar is located within a plaza containing other businesses, including a Winn Dixie supermarket. You can't miss their cool, red "hand" chairs flanking the entrance of this delicious destination. Although they don't have a huge interior, there is a large outdoor, covered patio with ample oversized games for all ages. Beth's signature red color is throughout the restaurant and it brightens the space. Upon entering, you place your order at the counter. Staff are friendly and can provide suggestions based on your cravings (plus, you can create your own burger too - they have a bunch of different toppings). My husband was intrigued by the Double D challenge: finish a massive 4-patty burger in 10 minutes or less and win a free t-shirt (genius free marketing idea if you ask me as the challenge isn't that difficult). My husband won the challenge and was surprised at how juicy the burgers were as well as the affordable price. I chose to get the Swiss Mushroom Burger, substituting the burger patty with grilled chicken. My hunger took over and I began devouring it before I remembered to take a picture. It was flavorful and had plenty of mushrooms. For our side items, we ordered onion rings and cheese fries - both were good. Up in Lake Mary and was fielding for burgers and gave Beth's a try. Parking was easy, the young woman who was the cashier was super friendly and answered all of our questions, ordered, and sat outside. The seating at the large wooden spools they used as table gives you a lot of room, but you kind of feel dirty the whole time because there are condiments and food bits ground in. Despite that, the view was nice and it was a pleasant place to eat dinner. The burgers themselves were good, very filling and just enough toppings, but the sides were a little lacking. Perhaps I'm spoiled by how much you receive at other places, but I could tell my partner was literally counting how many tots she had, stealing one of my fries here and there to not finish so quickly. My wife and I stopped in to Beth's on Sunday around lunch. We both ordered the Black and Bleu Burger for $6.49. I upgraded to add an additional patty for $2.30 more; we added a side of fries for $2.25 and a soft drink was $2.15. Our food arrived about 10-minutes later. All of our food was fresh and delicious. I was curious to know if we would receive a larger quantity of fries versus Onion Rings and the cashier explained that all sides are 8oz, so whether you buy fries, O-rings, Tot's, or some other side item, they are portioned at 8oz. I had high expectations for the size of this burger; however, it was smaller than anticipated. The additional $2.30 did not increase the size of the burger that much more than the single. My wife and I thought Burger-Fi's burgers were slightly bigger and were a better deal at $7.69 for their double burger. Regardless, size isn't everything, and these burgers were good! Yet, we both agreed that (on our next visit) we would order the "Double D Challenge" ($14.99) and split it. The Double D is a 4-patty burger with eight slices of bacon, five slices of cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, jalapenos, tomato slices, and regular condiments. This way, on my next visit, I am not walking out of here hungry. Seating is limited. If you are at a table inside by the cashier, you can easily become crowded-in by customers placing orders during a lunch or dinner rush. There is additional seating within the hallway leading to the restrooms, but once again, limited. We chose the high-top table at the very back of the restaurant since the tall-boy chairs were padded and more comfortable. I do not know if the heating system was down or management was trying to minimize costs, but it was still cold inside the restaurant after 12pm. When securing a table, we could feel the cold air coming in through doors and other areas of the hallway (it was 39 degrees earlier that morning). Be sure to Check-in on Yelp before arriving to receive your 10% off coupon. I forgot and checked in after the fact, so I will save my coupon for our next visit. All-n-all, I had a good experience at Beth's. Yes, some things could have been better, and in my opinion, I still think Burger-Fi has them beat, yet I will return to give Beth's another chance. The service was great, our food was ready in record time, and our food was cooked to order (no sandbagging here). If you have never been to Beth's, definitely give them a shot. read more

This is my second time at this location, and both times they have consistently served good burgers and sides. They have a good variety of speciality burgers available (I recommend the breakfast burger) as well as a build your own option. My wife loves avocado so she was happy to add be able to add it! Seating is indoor/outdoor too. There isn't a long wait time and has a pretty chill vibe overall, definitely the place to meet a few friends for a quick bite to eat without having to go fine dining. I've eaten many mushroom burgers and this was the first where 6 small slices of dry mushrooms were added - no sauce - and called a mushroom burger. The meat taste was good, but the entire burger was dry. Thank goodness for the tomato, as it seemed to be the only moisture. At least the bun wasn't wet, I suppose. Sides were 1/2 full in drink cups, which is disappointing visually. The actual beverages ordered were not delivered. I've eaten here before and it was good so I'm hoping this is a 1-off. read more

Overall the food is fresh and really tastes good. There is a big menu for drinks and a nice variety of desserts to choose from- including shakes; love that! Was looking for a above fast food burger joint in the Lake Mary area and found this close to my office. It's located in a strip mall where Winn Dixie is. Went I went inside, the atmosphere looked pretty quiet and could have been more lively. I ordered at the counter a double patty burger with cheese. It came to about 9 dollars after tip and was handed a number to place in table. I was also given a plastic cup to use the self serve dispenser for water. Since the atmosphere was a bit boring inside, went to the outside patio, in which there was a live saxophonist playing smooth jazz. It only took about 5 minutes for my burger to come. It was a good burger with 2 patties cooked about medium, but still juicy and flavorful. The veggies toppings were fresh and complimented the burger well. While the mayo and ketchup that I asked for were on the smaller side, it was ample enough. Definitely a step above what you get in the fast food restaurants. Service was prompt and friendly. While I mentioned the inside atmosphere looked a bit boring, there were TV's showing news and sports and looked to be a play area for kids as well. However, I preferred to go outside to enjoy the live music (from 6 to 9, but not sure which days). Tables were nice and clean with the staff monitoring well.
