My son has also recently entered the infant toddler program. Both of my children absolutely love this school and really like their teachers. As a mom it feels nice when your children are excited about their day at school and look forward to seeing their teachers and friends. My children have learned so much about self care, independence, sharing, and many other academically enriching activities while at this school. I highly recommend you take a visit and see for yourself.

Everyone at Little Lambs and Ivy is so caring and welcoming and they work with you to support what is best for your child. It is hard leaving your child everyday but there isn't a question in my mind when I leave him here - I know he is loved and cared for as well as stimulated and educated and I am very thankful for that!

Building Blocks has been nothing short of amazing for both of my children! I first called 10 years…read moreago on a whim, as I drove by and was able to turn around and view the center right away. I met Sheila and Carrie, and as a new mom I was both exhausted and nervous for the new chapter ahead. I noticed children saying hello to both of them, and coming in for hugs (nothing like what I saw at other daycares in the area). I felt so comfortable talking to them about my daughter's care and how all of this would work. I left knowing 100% this was the place for my daughter, Marley. She started in the littles room and transitioned very well, we have had tons of amazing teachers (some had moved on/retired) throughout her time there and she was spoiled! The staff always sent photos of her playing, laughing and getting hugs from teachers. It was good to know she was taken care of. I haven't ever had an issues with bullying, biting or hitting and if something did arise, it was addressed immediately and I was notified. When Marley was in grade school she did bus drop off to building blocks and their summer camp program- both of which were amazing! Flash forward a few years and my son, Cairo was born. It was a no brainer when we needed him in daycare, I called Sheila and Carrie. At each level Cairos is taught manners, abcs, counting, potty training.. all of the things, I am so thankful for all of the years we have had at this location. When Sheila left, my family was so sad but even happier that Carrie was stepping into the director roll. She has and will always be such a joy. I have never seen her other than with a happy smile on her face, greeting the parents and kids. The staff at this facility, especially Carrie, Sheila and Brenda, Mrs Desiree, Ms Amber and many more have become more than just the people who helped raise my children, but true friends. I write this with tears in my eyes knowing my son will be moving onto kindergarten this fall, and I don't know what life will be like without seeing them every morning. Thank you Building Blocks, for all of the laughs, convos and for providing a safe place for my two kids. We will miss you all! If you are on the fence about this place- TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!! The preschool programs follow state early learning standards, and I am confident that he will be well-prepared for kindergarten as a direct result of the dedicated instruction he receives from Scotty's. The director of this program is heavily involved with the children and staff, and it's clear she loves her job and the various programs. The center is also exceptionally clean and I observe the staff cleaning thoroughly on a daily basis. I knew his needs would be met but more importantly I knew the teachers really cared about him. They have seen him through many transitions. They always offer a hug, wipe a tear or give him the appropriate discipline he needs to help him grow. The management has tried to iron out these issues, but have only made it worse, and find that I am cheated out of the classes that I want to take. There are classes that fill within minutes of becoming available, and if it fills, you're out of luck. I'm not usually a complainer, but when I addressed this by phone, I left a message, and didn't even get the common decency of a return call. So in short, my membership dollars are paying for nothing, and I'm being cheated out of exercising the way that I want because my finger isn't quick enough on the button.
