My family and I ordered lunch take out through Grub Hub. It arrived later than originally suggested by the app and when we opened the food, it was completely made wrong (not what we ordered) and it was all ice cold. We had ordered two green chicken enchilada plates, sides of Mexican rice only and a two hard chicken corn tacos. We received two tacos (both dry as a bone, no flavor.. cold chicken only on a cold corn tortilla... no lettuce, cheese or any hint of flavoring on the meat). Both our enchilada plates were red cheese enchiladas, not green chicken enchiladas. No one in our family will eat the red sauce because it tastes like pure red chile powder. We reported the wrong food was received to Grubhub and they offered a partial reimbursement. When we called to let the management know the wrong meals were sent and to ask that they speak with whomever is checking the accuracy of the orders, the response from the manager was "what do want free food or something? You already got money back." I explained that I did not want anything but to ask that they be aware of the problem and make an effort to prevent it happening again, so others don't have their meal ruined as ours had been. Then we sent a delivery driver to go get the food and they wouldn't give it to the driver because we had canceled the order. So not only did we not get our money back, we also did not get the food that we were told was already made. I purchased a chimichanga meal on Friday evening. There was a lot of food for the price ($16). I ate less than half and saved the rest for the next day. I awoke at 1:00 am throwing up, violently ill with chills and diarrhea. I brought the food back to the restaurant the next afternoon when I was feeling up to it. I wanted to let them know they have a salmonella (or something) problem. At minimum, I was hoping for an apology and a refund. First bad experience I've had with Betos. Ordered a texano and carne asada burrito. Maybe a teaspoon of sour cream on mine and a teaspoon of guacamole and pico on my GFs. I asked for more and showed the cashier and she asked the cook if he added those ingredients and he said yes. She literally ignored what her eyes were telling her and insisted it was right, then trued to charge us more to fix our food. Pretty sure they were drunk and/or stoned. We live right by Beto's and every time it has been great, they always give plenty of sauce. The food is steaming hot whenever we get it.
