Do NOT buy anything from Baker Lowell Buick gmc. They are flat out liars and scammers. They sold me a "new" truck which they crashed and fixed in their body shop and did not report to car fax. When I got home plastics were hanging off wheele well due to improper repairs made by them! Which they did not disclose to me! Never told me it was in an accident. When I asked about it they said they don't have to disclose repairs under 10% of msrp. When I told them I don't want the truck anymore and I'm bringing it back they said I can't do that because I already signed the paper work. Only when I mentioned I'm calling my lawyer the next day they decide they want to take there shotty repaired truck back. What a rip off don't trust these guys. The manger didn't even have the decency to come out of his office to say anything when I asked for him multiple times. These people should not be in buisness. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! They replaced the whole bedside of my "brand new" truck did a sloppy job repainting it everything under the truck was Covored in white paint. Tail light did not sit in place properly and bare metal was left exposed on the truck to rust away! These people showed no remorse & should be ashamed of themselves. We had a great experience with Been Baker. Interesting to see so many negative ones. I appreciated that when we were there getting it all done I didn't feel like I was at a used car dealer. Everyone was just very nice and friendly. Our sales person Alex was great. He was friendly, personable and went above and beyond to get this car for us at a time when it is hard to find them! I was recently interested in purchasing a new vehicle and used the online process. Communication was extremely slow requiring me to follow up on next steps in the buying process every step of the way. After 5 days and limited interaction I arrived at the dealership to try and buy the vehicle. The online sales rep was not onsite. I was instructed to work with the Sales Mgr. Long story short the sales manager was extremely rude in his demeanor and made me feel like I was putting him out for trying to buy a car. I would have purchased the vehicle for what he offered but I honestly could not believe the way I was being treated so I stood up shook his hand and walked out. Please do not purchase a vehicle from Betten Baker GMC out of Lowell. I recently asked them to help find me a Yukon Denali and told them that I do not get my work bonus until March 15th. They said, "Hey, we can do the deal now and hold your check until March 16th." I even have an email from their salesman, Tim Zylstra, that details this offer. I went in on Tuesday, did the deal, handed them a check dated March 16th for over $13,000 and watched them staple it to "HOLD AGREEMENT" card that detailed the terms of our deal. Today, I found out from my bank that Betten unattached my check dated March 16th from that written agreement and tried to cash it. WTF?!? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. read more

They don't even deserve 1 star but we had to pick one in order to leave a review. Will never purchase another vehicle from them. We always try to shop local. Have looked at their lot every time we have needed to purchase a vehicle for the past 25 years. My husband didn't want to look there the last time we purchased a vehicle because we had never found anything there in the past. This time we did find a vehicle as well as a lot of empty promises and a salesperson and manager who are very good actors! We learned a very valuable lesson by shopping there. Once we handed over a check in good faith with promises that items would be taken care of with the vehicle once parts were ordered, etc.......all promises went out the window once we handed over the check. We finally gave up after 3 months of going back and forth with them to get things taken care of. The salesman quit responding to us via phone and text. The manager took over and made all sorts of promises to our faces but also quit responding to our texts & phone calls. I always try to shop local but will not support this type of business. We ended up buying a car that was never even cleaned inside because that was one of the promises that it would be done once the parts came in and we brought the vehicle back for the parts to be installed. Vehicle was taken back to them to have parts , an oil change and interior cleaned. We were told the vehicle was ready to be picked up. We had our son pick up the vehicle and when we got home and checked the vehicle was not cleaned inside nor was the oil change done that was supposed to be done at the same time. They have also lost business for their location which was previously Wittenbach's as I have purchased vehicles from them in the past and used to have service done at that location until dealing with what used to be the Vennen location. I won't return to the Wittenbach location because they are now part of Betten Baker. They wasted so much of our time having to follow up on their promises and finally we walked away took care of the issues ourselves at additional costs to us. read more
