Last July, I bought a car from Comodo Motors, and I was surprised at the amazing customer service and straightforward approach that Enzo and all the staff there went out of their way to provide to make the process as simple, pleasurable, and friendly as possible. It was genuinely the most positive car buying experience I've ever had after over a frustrating month of combing the entire nation for a car during the chip shortage which caused the used car market to be one of the most competitive and infuriating times in general for consumers. I knew that Comodo would be my first stop for any future car purchases in the future (not to mention the amazing art gallery contained in their showroom!). Months later when I had additional car needs, I had the pleasure of working directly with the owner, Jordan. That's when I knew why Comodo Motors was so special. The down-to-earth and treat-everyone-like-family approach is a tone that Jordan sets straight from the top and it trickles down to every employee that works there. His passion not only for what he does but to try to make sure that every person walks away with a great experience there shows not just in his words, but in his actions, as a business owner and a member of the community. A few weeks after I met with him, I came back as his wife's art gallery and business Copper Corners had a holiday bazaar and celebration that was fun and beautiful and celebrated not just her amazing taste in art and her incredible talents herself, but also many, many artisans in the community. It was a beautiful night. When Jordan saw me, he greeted me like an old friend with a hug, gave a warm welcome as he introduced himself to and spoke with my boyfriend, and then found his wife to introduce her to us like we had known each other for years. It was very touching. At Comodo, you will get straight forward pricing on great cars from knowledgable, friendly people, but you will also get treated like family and they will go above and beyond to make sure that you leave there a satisfied customer that doesn't just buy one car from them, but comes back to them for all your future needs and is comfortable telling your friends about the difference in level of service that they offer. It's probably a universal feeling of skepticism for people in the US when looking for a vehical at a dealership or even a private sale. Before cars, it was true w horse trading and before that, maybe a cool dino ride. Point is, we all worry and hope for an honest deal from an honest sales person. My first impression was how new the vehicals looked, even w 94k miles. I wondered if the trucks were actually brought up to the mechanical level of appearances, right? Or, were things covered up? So I took the truck I was interested in to my own tech. Enzo was my salesman and he actually encouraged me to do this before I asked. I had the truck all afternoon to do this and was able to watch my guy look over absolutely everything in detail. We actually found a bad caliper which had to have frozen while sitting in Comodo's shop and lot. Enzo had it replaced along with the pads and rotors the next day. Every step of the way, Comodo was ready to fix anything that was wrong that might have shown up after their own techs went over the truck. 94k is a lot of miles, but it seems to be a sweet spot between new and not worth it. In other words, the trucks all seem to be in very good condition and ready to work for another 100 to 150k miles for about half the cost of new. Thats fair and reasonable for someone like me who doesn't want to buy new. And with all the things that can be wrong with a vehical just off the assembly line, I feel safer with a truck that has been tested and had the weak points fixed. Definitely buy a good warranty - they seem to have one of the good ones by checking online - because you wouldn't even buy a new truck without that! You think Ford gives you that for free? No, its in the cost of the new truck. So, with used, I want a good warranty just the same. And zi know if I buy the cheepest plan, I won't get much coverage. I don't buy a used truck hoping it is somehow the only perfect truck on the road. I cover my backend and buy the best coverage so I don't have to worry. Will I ever use it? Maybe not. Maybe the house wins. But I won't be leaving angry feedback if something happens because I didn't want to cover it. All said, Its my experience that Comodo and Enzo are honest and have quality vehicals because the buy them right and have an excellent team in the shop. If I find out differently down the road, I will change this review because I hate being let down just as much as anyone. But I don't think thats going to happen I have come to trust this place and its people. This was my first experience buying a vehicle from out-of-town, sight-unseen. The sales process was very smooth and Enzo handled the shipping arrangements to Florida without incident. When I got the truck there were several issues with it, which initially I was pretty upset over, especially given how hard these particular trucks are to find and the repairs would not have been affordable. After some back and forth I ended up speaking with Jordan and he was honest about some dropped-balls when the vehicle was inspected on their end, some basic things weren't taken cared of and it left their dealership as he put it, "not as he would ever sell a vehicle". Given the distance and time committed, he agreed to let me take it my own mechanic (ended up being a few of them) to diagnose and fix any problems; Jordan paid for all of it directly and was very apologetic about the situation. At the end of the day I ended up sending the vehicle back to them; however they bought it back for my full payoff amount, handled return shipping and ensured that everything in the transaction, even if it didn't end with me having the truck I wanted, was as satisfactory as possible. I don't think any dealership I've ever dealt with before would have gone to those lengths to make something right and it definitely showed an immense amount of trustworthiness and good business sense. read more

Bought my a car from Comodo back in October. Picked out the car on Saturday and had the keys in hand by Monday evening! Unfortunately, by Thursday of that same week, the car's check engine light started flashing and the car stopped working. Though the car was a 2009 Ford 150, I just couldn't believe my luck that it broke down within a week of having it. I contacted Comodo and they took care of EVERYTHING! They sent me to a repair shop to have the car evaluated, and Comodo paid for the services done there to fix the problem. I was good to go again about a week later! The staff were all great, I worked with Jordan, Paul, and Joey. They kept in contact with me to make sure things were running smoothly even after the repair! Great service and great communication. Despite having engine troubles immediately after purchase (I blame my luck, honestly), I would 100% purchase from them again as the experience from pre-purchase to post-purchase was comfortable and professional. Wonderful first time buyer experience today with Comodo in Caledonia Michigan. I saw a nice used Ford Escape SE that would work well for my 16 year old daughters first car and gave them a call on Monday. After explaining their price out the door was going to be out of our budget they coached me on a way to work things out so I could afford a nice AWD well appointed SAFE car for my daughter THAT SHE LIKED!!! (yes, this is possible with a 16 year old girl I learned...thank you Comodo!). I have a few close friends that own dealerships or work at them. I was looking for a particular truck that nobody else seemed to have (or could get). Jordan, Wanted to drop you a quick note letting you know the high mileage (highway miles) white 2015 Ford F-150 I purchased last April is running awesome! I experienced a torque converter shutter shortly after I purchased it , but I had the tranny flushed and with clean transmission oil in the truck the shutter went away. I love my truck, did some mods to it to make it my own. The car purchasing experience at Comodo was truly awesome, and you have great inventory on your lot. I hope you guys are doing well through Covid, and I hope your selling a lot of vehicles.
