From the moment I ordered, it felt like I'd accidentally wandered into a hero's journey. She greeted me with the confidence of someone who knows your order before you do, like a caffeinated oracle. I watched her work behind the counter the way ancient sailors watched the stars. Every movement was precise. Every espresso pull felt intentional, spiritual, possibly blessed. I swear at one point the milk foam formed a perfect little heart and nodded at me in approval. When Rachel handed me my coffee, time slowed. Birds chirped. My posture improved. Again this location has failed me ! I tried giving it another chance after the bad experience I had with them during my pregnancy and today just makes me make my mind up about never going back . Me and my boyfriend were both craving pumpkin spice drinks so decided to stop by and give this a try .NEVER again !! I would not recommend this place to anyone . Both our hot and cold drinks not one bit of the taste of pumpkin spice flavor came thru. The blended drink tasted like vanilla cream and my hot drink tasted like a regular black coffee with creamer . I have never been so disappointed with a PSL. ALSO we both got breakfast and we regretted it as much as we did with the drinks . The elote avocado toast was gross and soggy had half an avocado whole on part of toast not even mashed no effort into it . And my croissant as seen in video was no where near soft and flakey even if toasted it was extremely crunchy and hard ,hated it ! Soo happy a better buzz location opened closer to this side of town! Much more convenient location to go to compared to traveling to the Hillcrest location or Fashion valley for coffee. Have been a regular better buzz customer since I was in high school and to this day this coffee is one I recommend to anyone! Especially visiting guests of San Diego! It's a SD staple and my recommendation is the iced hazelnut divinity! Very busy location! Inside is pretty small so limited seating is available. Although there is an outdoor patio to sit when it's not too hot outside from the direct sun. Parking is pretty limited as well and get blocked usually from the drive through line. read more

And I order the same thing everytime, iced vanilla bean latte with oat milk. If I wanted that much inconsistency I would just go to Starbucks.. The service is subpar honestly. I try and tip just to get a decent coffee but it doesn't help.. probably won't go to this location again. Everyone needs to be retrained. read more

Came here after an appointment to have coffee and breakfast. The parking lot was nearly full and the drive-thru line was long, but I thankfully found parking on the street right in front. I ordered through the Better Buzz app before getting out of my car and despite the busy-ness at this location, my food and drink were ready sooner than expected. Service was friendly and fantastic. My Iced Moroccan Spiced Coffee was refreshing and the Better Breakfast sandwich was yummy (I also recommend the Bacon Ciabatta, which is my actual favorite). I stood at the online pick up waiting for my drink as they weren't calling out names for mobile orders, the employee finally asked what I was waiting on but did not make or ask the line about it. It's on a fluffy fresh bun and has thick strips of bacon. The açaí bowl is delicious l, tastes very fresh and the portion is very generous. Their coffee is easily one of my favorites from any coffee chain. The service was super fast and efficient when I visited on the pre-opening day. All staff were very friendly and stoked to open. I'm a frequent customer at this location. I usually go through the drive thru.. I must say this is such a high volume store and I'm there just about daily. They do a great job in with good customer service and efficiency for a drive thru. The wait times are not bad considering coffee is so individual and subjective.. However, today I went inside and got to observe an employee that stood out.... She had excellent customer service and amazing work ethic. I heard her training employees, helping customers and even watched her clean the dining room. I had to stop her and ask her name, she said "Brittany". After talking to her for a couple of minutes, I could see she genuinely loves her job... She cares about her team and wants to be the best store around.
