He had such good customer service and was so helpful in going through all the steps on what is to be done with my car. BEWARE! Do not use this company. They are thieves. Long story short, 10 months later, my son's car is not fixed. We have been round and round with them with lie after lie. Still no Tacoma grill or fuel cap. They also replaced a fuel pump that did not need to be replaced (they mixed my Tacoma with another customer (per my claims person from BC) GEICO asked for their money back which is why Mark is really upset and "punishing us" Finally, GEICO stepped in. Heading to court! Management is a joke. If you ever encounter Mark, RUN!!! read more

Geico referred my damaged vehicle to this shop, it took them five working days to fix my back end that was totally munch up. They called Enterprise to pick all of us up, but Geico got a car waiting for me at the shop. Called me the day before that my car was ready, took off work next day and picked it up, it was clean and fixed. So happy. read more

Better Collisions fell FAR short of expectations. Misleading lead times, a month-and-a-half wait for an appointment, and a week before they even looked at the car after the car was in their hands. False promises on completion dates, taking a month for basic windshield and cosmetic repairs. Disappointingly, they didn't fix all issues; on pickup day, a molding piece remained untouched. As a State Farm agent, I'll advocate for their removal as a service provider. read more

Just got hung up on without a word by the front desk person. Very unprofessional.

I had an estimate to have my car repaired- they scheduled me to have me bring my car in the next month. However, when I showed up, they told me they were not taking any more cars, and it didn't matter that I had an appointment. And tried to reschedule my appointment. Which wouldn't have been for 2 more months. You think they could of called or text me to tell me there was a issue with my appointment? Nope!! They were very unprofessional and didn't care if you had an appointment to have your car fixed. Now we have to find another place to get our car fixed and start over. read more

It seems like many people have had positive experiences with this repair shop but I was not one of them. The two issues are poor communication and long repair times. I dropped my vehicle off on June 23rd and finally got it back on August 12th. Aside from taking almost two months for mostly cosmetic work to the front driver side of the vehicle, the communication throughout that time was terrible. On July 29th I was told my vehicle was painted and in reassembly and after numerous phone calls I found out that this wasn't true. On August 4th I was told again that the vehicle had been painted and on August 9th the vehicle finally went into reassembly. I received 10 different estimated completion dates throughout the process. Honest and accurate estimations matter. I had moved to Wisconsin during the repair process and knew I was going to fly back to South Carolina to pick up the vehicle but because I was misled and told my vehicle would be ready I flew down at the end of July and ended up spending two weeks in South Carolina just waiting on my vehicle. Flights, hotels, and car rentals are expensive and the inaccuracies in my completion date led to unexpected costs. When asking about delays for the repair I was told that there were many customers ahead of me that also need repairs. I got the impression that I was just a number and that the Mount Pleasant location had bitten off more than they could chew. On a different day, I was told that the painter didn't show up for their shift, so there could be staffing issues as well. The repair itself seemed alright, the paint color was accurate, and the body work seemed good. I did have an issue with my windshield wiper fluid system. It worked prior to my accident and when I drove it home it was not working. I opened the hood and noticed that the windshield washer fluid was dripping and running over the engine when I would activate the pump. I removed the hood liner and found that a hose to the windshield washer system was disconnected. It seems that even two months' time wasn't enough to make sure everything was reassembled properly. Due to my poor experience, I can't recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Better Collision is 1000/10. I cannot recommend this shop enough! My passenger door and fender were crushed and I had no idea where to start. I pulled into Better Collision for help and they got right to work. They even helped me navigate everything with my insurance. Within a week I had an estimate and car repaired and it looks even better than when I bought it! Trey was amazinggggg !!! He helped me and communicated with me every step of the way. Katie up front is the sweetest too! Everyone was so helpful and kind. If you ever need your car fixed this is the place to go hands down! read more

I went to take my car here. Apparently, they don't need the business. They would not provide a quote. They were not friendly at all.

I stopped by Better Colision to get an estimate on minor damage done to my car by a hit and run driver in a local parking lot here in Mt Pleasant. The gentleman that looked at my car gave me the low down on the damage. He said he could got those scratches out in just a few minutes--he did. When I asked how much, he just said--no charge--only took a few minutes. I felt so bad, it's really hot out but he did that for me out of the goodness of his heart. So impressive. I waited in the office in the a/c and was given a bottle of cold water. All the staff was super nice and friendly. I will return if I need any type of body repair on our cars. There are still really good and honest people out there. I will always remember this. read more
