I contracted better electric to replace 5 ceiling fans in my house and Tyler was prompt in his responses and courteous, with an interest to get my needs met when I needed them on short notice. Chris came to perform the work and he was awesome! He worked so much harder than I anticipated. In my disappointment all of my original ceiling fans were placed incorrectly without the proper support box needed to withstand the weight of the fan (no wonder they always shook when they were on). Chris worked non-stop and never complained. He replaced all of our ceiling fans the proper way. He left our home sweaty, dirty, and exhausted but courteous through and through and never complained about all of the unanticipated labor and time it took. After reading all the great reviews of Better Electric, I gave them a call. Tyler answered the call and he was honest about his busy schedule. I shared with him that we lived in an older 2 story home built in the sixties. The existing fan bracket was for a small light weight fan and I suspect it needed upgrading/replacing with a modern bracket that would support a modern fan. He agreed an informed me about the various brackets used to support a fan up to 25 lbs or more. Although his schedule was booked for 2 to 3 weeks, he squeezed me in the following week after he completed his final job for the day. The day arrived and he sent me a text to let me know he would stop by for the job. Once he arrived, he went straight to work. He was very friendly and shared some great stories. He replaced the old bracket with a new one with the proper rating in short order. Next, he quickly setup the fan and had it working in no time. I am so glad I gave him a call. I love that Tyler knows what he is doing. Not all electricians can claim that. Reading other reviews about scheduling- I understand that he is busy and he is trying to make it work but for me- reliability and quality of work is more important than scheduling, especially when it comes to electrical work. I had a bunch of ever changing work (since I was in the middle of a remodel) - he came out multiple times for quotes and finally finished the job that I asked with good quality. Meanwhile, some of my other contractors removed a panel from my electrical box to get a paint match and I blamed tyler for it. He didn't think he and his team would do it but he agreed to work with me to get it fixed. When my painters brought the panel back, I realized that from the camera recording (camera that was installed by Tyler). I appreciated that in the uncertain situation- he was willing to work with me. Also, no issues with the work he did. I am looking to hire him again for more work. read more

It is insane to anyone to ask $250 just for a 10 seconds of work. I will never do a business with you and don't recommend to anyone.
