(Sorry I didn't take pictures of the theme lights) The most of the decor is just the covering of everything. It's a walk in and through then out the front patio path with more decor that's for after or before. There are signs around their neighborhood to please be respectful The couple in front of us before going/getting in, the lady said they come every year for them, it was my first time. The volunteers were quiet and helped take photos, one gave me a book mark. A must to visit in near and far for the this. I wouldn't know how long of a wait for the end of the line during 6pm it was going around the block but if everyone goes in take pics look around we did probably 10mins

We recently hired Tyler to handle several projects around our home, and the results are fantastic. He installed a new light in our laundry room, added a recessed can light in the master bath, and upgraded a few outlets to modern USB-C plugs. Most importantly, he ran four new dedicated circuits for us, completely resolving a frustrating issue where our space heaters kept tripping the breakers. As with any home project, there were a few unexpected scheduling delays due to unforeseen conflicts and illness. What really set Tyler apart, however, was his proactive professionalism. He always gave me as much advance notice as possible and immediately came to the table with a clear remediation plan to get everything back on track. Even though the project wrapped up about 1.5 weeks behind the original schedule, the flawless quality of the work and the seamless patch-and-paint job made it entirely worth it. Tyler showed an incredible amount of care and concern for our home throughout the entire process. We will absolutely use Better Electric again for any future electrical needs!

Took advantage of my retired mom and asked for full payment of the project before it was done. Before we got rid of this company, they had already forecasted multiple times that the end date was a certain day. Now it is over a month since that first promise, and I had to fire them. Will take on other jobs while your project ongoing. It's funny when your electrician shows up at your house at 8pm (not am) to work every day? Enjoy the hammering and drilling through the night. I do not recommend anyone to use them. This is a classic bait and switch approach: promising a smooth project and experience on scope of work, but really was messing around after. To be more specific, I had a project for under cab kitchen lights. Looks like they have not even done the strips we had bought before (Phillips Hue, by the way). So it looks like my project was R&D and it was the perfect one since my retired mom was nice enough to pay before completion.

We spent well over 30 minutes talking through the pros and cons of each, along with important things to consider like the size of the house and living room. Ultimately, I decided that I will be upgrading our current soundbar to a newer and nicer one in the near future. He was extremely polite and patient, taking the time to explain terminology and concepts in a way I could easily understand as we installed and set things up (picture and display settings, 1080p vs. 4K capabilities, audio/video/HDMI cables and what they do, device "switches," and how everything works together) as he was installing things so I'll be able to manage it myself down the road. And he came with mounts and equipment that was better than what I bought and was cheaper as well. I highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him again in the future.

The main TV was going over an original brick fireplace, and I chose a pull-down mount, which requires much more precision and skill than a standard TV mount. I'm the daughter of a long line of carpenters, so I tend to notice how someone approaches their work. From the moment Jay arrived, I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. He took the time to prepare properly, worked confidently and carefully, and I could immediately relax knowing that everything was going to be mounted securely and correctly. Watching someone who truly knows what they're doing is such a pleasure. He was also incredibly clean and respectful of my home. His wife worked alongside him throughout the installation, and the two of them were exceptionally efficient without ever making the work feel rushed. He was also wonderfully resourceful. I had planned to purchase a separate bracket for my soundbar, but he found an elegant way to attach it using the existing TV mount, saving me about $90 while actually giving me a cleaner-looking installation. I really appreciated that he wasn't just there to install things -- he was thinking about the best solution for my setup. The entire experience was professional, thoughtful, efficient, and beautifully done. Both TVs look fantastic, everything feels extremely secure, and the work area was left spotless. Highly recommend. I am a contractor that has been using Mark for years and I have referred him out many times. I am a perfectionist so I need perfection out of my subs and Mark delivers every time. I recently had a project that he was on and the home owner came out and said my refrigerator went out can you look at it. Mark jumped on it and spent a lot of time trouble shooting the plugs and breakers. When he fixed it, I asked him to bill me separately for it and I would take care of it but he said " don't worry about it, I'm glad I was able to help " This is a kind and generous gesture alone but that wasn't the only time. He has been this way ever since I started using him. I've used him for simple plug add-ons, fans, office wiring to new building total package. Unfortunately there are many contractors out there that don't deserve a 1 star but if Yelp had a 10 star rating I would happily give Mark a 9... Hey nobody's perfect.. read more

We are doing a major home remodel, which required re-doing all of our electrical. Aside from being able to read a basic floor plan, I don't know anything about best practices in wiring and optimal lighting placement in a home...this is where Mark excels! He took the time to go room by room and help me understand the best placement for lights and switches. He made changes to the existing electrical plan that were far better than what the architect had designed. He made it easy. Mark is extremely smart in how he approaches his craft. Mark is an excellent electrician. He did a substantial amount of work in my home. Installed 19 recessed ceiling lights in the living room, dining room and hall, re-wired some overloaded circuits that a prior contractor did, installed new Lutron Decora switches for all of the new and existing lighting circuits, and installed Lutron Caseta switches which can be operated from my smartphone app. Everything works great and looks great. I highly valued his recommendations for the placement of the recessed lighting in the ceiling and other suggestions he made. This was very beneficial for me and I took all of his recommendations. Mark was referred to me by someone who has used him a lot. Very happy with his work. Changed out main box, installed new circuits... even put in a new ceiling fan for me. He showed up when he said he would and left the areas cleaner than how he found them. Few other installers that I talked to suggested absurd things like getting permit from San Ramon is impossible (or) permit process is so "trivial" that I need to take care of it myself. Few others who claimed to help with the permit process charged much higher price if permit was needed. Installers were also professional and completed the job in about 2 hours on the day of install. Overall, I liked their thorough methodical process and as their name suggests they indeed offer a Quality Electrical Solution.

They've done a variety of electrical work at my house, from installing recessed lighting to fixing an old contractor's shoddy electrical work. I've always been happy with their work and I like the owner, Massis, and his electrician Trevor. The reason for this review, however, is that recently my home lost all power one night. I called AMZ and they came right over. Massis and Trevor spent several hours checking all the wiring on my panels and solar system, then recommended we reach out to PGE to check their lines. PGE took a few days then responded and told me I needed a new main panel (apparently they're the only ones who can remove the meter to check). I called AMZ but Massis was on vacation! I left a message, and Massis called me back (while out of town). Massis ordered me a new panel and reached out to the city for permitting while he was still on vacation!. Massis came back and AMZ took care of everything from ordering the parts, to permitting with the city, to coordinating with PGE. I had gone several days without power, and Massis made it a priority to get me back up and running ASAP. Finally when it was all said and done, AMZ gave me an outstanding all-in price. Trust me, AMZ is the only way to go. Good, trustworthy people - outstanding service.
