They offer NO CARE! Only NPs. No MDs and all they do is refer you back to your own PCP. They no longer even take blood. Give fluid IVs. The last three times they did not take. X-rays and told us to go to the ER. I suppose they could treat a UTI... but that is doubtful. I can pee on a test strip at home and send a message to my own PCP and she will phone in an RX. They really went downhill from when they were BetterMed. The medical staff are very nice. The receptionist out front are rude and dismissively not interested in you. I wait can be hours. If you are going to wait hours.... Go to Patient First. They still perform everything there and can fill your RX if they have e it in stock. CareNow is much closer to me.... But they are worthless. read more

Provider was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. The medical assistant was very friendly and professional. The only downside was the receptionist who used inappropriate language when talking to her colleague. She spoke with a voice level that everyone could hear. Totally unprofessional! read more

I went in at 12:15 on a Sunday totally aware that I may have to wait. The two ladies working at the check in desk were less than friendly. I signed in on the iPad then had a seat. Once they called me back to get my copay, one of the receptionists told me I could wait in my car. I told her I'd rather sit inside where there was a bathroom and heat. Over the course of the SIX hours that I waited I heard them start turning away walkins around 3:00 pm. Better Med gets two stars because the receptionists truly were sanitizing the waiting area throughout the afternoon. The NP I saw at 7:00 thanked me for my patience and diagnosed me quickly. It's very possible she was the only provider working. Next time, I'll try Patient First. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. My son went there with a BROKEN ankle, and without xrays, the PA told him it wasn't broken and sent him home. Went to the ER the next day to find out it was broken and might require surgery. Additionally, we got there 30 minutes prior to closing and the lazy receptionist tried to refuse service, because she said they were getting ready to close in 30 minutes. Imagine if I had not taken my son to the ER. Grossly incompetent. Do NOT go there. read more

Sad my 12 year old grandson is so sick and Carenow wont give him any medicine or listen. He caught it from my son and my son went to patient first and was prescribed 3 medication's for the same exact symptoms. My husband arrived 15 minutes after they opened, on a week day, and he waited for over 2 hours. "We only have one doctor". I'm sorry but you're an URGENT care facility. It's literally in your name but you have no urgency to see your patients. They told him he didn't have flu or COVID and told him to take some advil for his headache. When I got home from work he was whiter than a sheet of paper with dark rings around his eyes and was vomiting from coughing spells. I told him he needed to call back up there and demand they call him in something. Something they SHOULD have done when he was seen. They said they'd call him back. Nothing. He calls again the next day and the phone just rings and rings. Here we are almost 2 weeks later and he has pneumonia. On 2 meds and an inhaler. Was struggling with some viral infection that persisted after a week. Begrudgingly went in and was pleasantly surprised. Place was extremely clean and staff were kind. Got checked in and called back quickly. Nurse tested me in record time and the practitioner was quick and concise. Prescribed an antibiotic and I was out the door. I been here since 8:30 am. Parking lot seemed empty so I went in. It's 11:04 am and I still have not been seen. Been waiting in my car waiting to be seen for over 2.5 hours! The reviews are true. Go anywhere but here. I have no idea when or if I will be seen today!! I would give zero stars if I could!!! I am still waiting. I went in yesterday for a 2:30 appointment for an antibody test. I was all finished and driving away at 2:36. The ladies were professional and very friendly. Even working in the rain, they had positive attitudes. I got my results over the phone in less than an hour. **GO TO PATIENT FIRST** If I could give 0 stars I would. I waited for 4 hours and left in tears unseen by anyone. I had made an appointment this morning for 5:15 pm. I left where I was early because I was in pain and called and asked if I could come earlier. I was told yes, all walk-ins were accepted. When I walked in, the front desk woman didn't give me a chance to talk to her because I was told I needed to sign in on the iPad. Then after waiting 2.5 hrs and hearing that the people in front of me were forgotten about and they left (because they were going to have to wait another 1.5-2 hrs), I decided to go and ask about myself. After giving my information she told me that I should've told her I had an appointment when I walked in (even though I wasn't given the opportunity too) and to go sit back down (without telling me that I would have to wait another 1.5-2 hours). After waiting for another 45 mins and having multiple people that got there after me go, I asked again how long it would be. I hate to be annoying but my patience was testing me at this point. I was then told that 2 more people were in front of me and she couldn't give me a time. Therefore, I decided to wait because I needed to be seen. I waited until I was there for 4 hours and left and told the front desk lady that I would be going somewhere else. She then said "so you want me to cancel your appointment then?" and I said yes and after that she said "ok your good". She was never apologetic, nice, or understanding. I left in tears due to frustration and pain. I immediately went to Patient First and was in and out in less than two hours. I will never go here again. After reading their website, I noticed that they go to great lengths to say the difference between urgent care and an emergency. However, I believe that waiting 4 hours can turn an urgent care visit into an emergency. Which is why I'm taking the time to write this review because I truly believe that this is a dangerous, misrepresented business entity. read more

Been to BetterMed six or seven times now. The facility is spotless. I usually have little to no wait in the waiting room and there are rarely others waiting to be seen. The front desk people provide prompt and professional service. The medical staff has been top notch. Definitely have become my 'go to'. read more

I went twice once for bad cough (they misdiagnosed as allergies and prescribed something that didn't do anything) and another for a leg that has been bothering me for a while both times the receptionist acted like we were bothering them to even be there the first time we were there for my bad cough one said that we would have to sign in ourselves and just kept talking to her co worker who was also a receptionist the most recent visit with my leg the receptionist was trying to get us to leave because they said that it would be a 1.5 hour wait to even be seen we waited and got sent back to the exam room in under 45 minutes and we're out of there 10 minutes before we were supposed to be seen (btw my mom and I literally just walked in the door and didn't even get out my id and insurance and we already were being coerced to leave because they apparently want the pay of the job but don't want to do it I've also seen both people do the same thing to other people while I was in there the one that wanted us to sign in online did it to a senior citizen and the other person who didn't want people to get to a doctor did it to a mother and her daughter an hour and 15 minutes before they closed and they just needed shots for the daughter went to school (btw both times we were in there it's empty as in it's maybe 1 other patient was there) read more

I wouldn't try this location 30 minutes before closing. You will be told there is an hour wait with no one sitting in the waiting room and they close in 30 minutes. Never have I been to a health care facility that turned patients away because they are closing in 30 minutes. read more

If I could I would rate them a 0. My 90 year old mother has very fragile skin as most elderly folk do and is on Plavix, a blood thinner. She struck her forearm causing a skin tear. After several hours of applying pressure , elevating and icing we could not get the bleeding to stop. We decided to go to the local Better Med for further treatment. There were only 3 cars in the parking lot, which I'm sure were employees so we went in. As soon as we walked in the door we were told that they do not see walk-ins. No where on the door nor their website advise this. I could have been knocked over with a feather. An urgent care facility that doesn't care for walk-ins. I explained the situation to the receptionist but she said they could not see us without an appointment. I asked if I could make an appointment then since they had no one else being seen and she advised I needed to go online to make an appointment. When I pulled out my phone to get on their website she advised I needed to leave the building to complete the appointment process. Of course, there were no appointments available. I again pleaded with them to see my mother but they refused. Angry really doesn't describe how I was feeling, especially since I am a licensed professional with emergency department experience. I'm strongly considering contacting JACHO. This is NOT acceptable. We were treated at Patient First quickly and efficiently. Everyone a Patient First was attentive and pleasant. Trash. The service from the check-in desk was awful. She acted annoyed and as if I was bothering her from upon entrance. I told her my reasoning for visit, she immediately said "we don't treat that." I explained I had been here before for the issue. After speaking with the doctor she came back and said I could' be treated. Waited 1.5 hours. The prescription was supposed to be sent to cvs, they didn't send it. I went back 2 hours later to see if it had been sent, still no. I had to go back to to bettermed get them to write it out so I could drop it off. I asked her to write it out she said "she probably won't do that." First of all, you're not the doctor, relax.
