Beautiful, high-quality dresses at prices that actually felt reasonable and not stressful -- which was such a relief. Most of all, the experience felt personal and fun. First off, the dress quality was beautiful and I didn't necessarily feel pressured to hurry up and pick a dress. In the end I made the right decision and when it came time to alter my dress the seamstress I worked with was wonderful. My dress was ready on time and was perfectly pressed. Also notable about my dress - there was a missing piece when I tried it on that went over my shoulders. I wanted some sort of strap so we purchased additional straps, and was not told about the missing piece. When it came in I was confused and the only reason I was able to get a credit towards alterations for the straps price because they "didn't come in" (I don't think they ever ordered them). In the end this worked out better (i loved the missing shoulder piece)! I was also able to customize my dress, so it was unique and just how i wanted it. I really really loved my dress! On the other hand I decided to make it easy for my bridal party and go there for bridesmaids dresses also. Since I purchased my dress there, they would receive a discount. There weren't very many styles, and they sized them incorrectly. My maid of honor was drowning in her dress, almost too much to alter properly. Luckily we got them in time to alter. Mind you their bridesmaid dresses were already much pricier than some other places. Also after all the fees they added on the discount didn't matter, it was even more. In summary, I definitely recommend shopping here for a wedding dress but not necessarily for your bridal party.

One of the higher-up employees was speaking very disrespectfully to the seamstress right in front of customers, which was really uncomfortable to witness. I arrived for my scheduled 11:00 appointment to simply pick up the dress--nothing needed to be done--but I was told I would have to come back at 5:00 to get it. They also never called me when the dress came in. Earlier in the process, they told me I needed to find my own seamstress for alterations, so I arranged that on my own. Then, because they didn't have my dress in on time, they suddenly told me they could "fit me in" with their seamstress instead. The whole situation felt very disorganized and frustrating. Overall, the customer service was poor and the experience was far more stressful than it should have been for something as important as a wedding dress. Interesting, it was pulled by one of the gals would thought it would look great on me, and it did. I tried on more to make sure my feeling was right, but went back into the first dress. I purchased my dress, veil, belt and earnings from the store. All within my budget! Even though I live in the city, I commuted in so Kathy could work with me on the alternations. This woman is a miracle worker!! We had some challenges with the dress fit given my bust, and Kathy worked with me to built it up, and she ended up designing custom lace straps which turned my gown couture :-) The lace matched the dress perfectly, and she even mirrored the beading. My family and friends agreed the new design was perfect and seemed like it was always meant to be. Each and every visit was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, and worked to accommodate my schedule given I was coming in from the city. Kathy even came in on a day off and stayed late, true class an customer service. So when you come across a vendor that you wanted to work with, but they are terrible at communication, it's time to cut your losses and pick another one who is going to make your planning easier, not harder. Over the course of 5 weeks, I had messaged this store 4 times to ask if they had one specific wedding dress in store and if so, could I schedule an appointment to try it on. I also tried calling but never got anyone to pick up the phone. Not once did this store bother to respond to my original message via their portal or any of my follow up emails to the email address listed on their website. I understand that they must get a lot of inquiries and sorting thru messages probably would take a while. But still no response after over a month is far too long and literally shows that they are unprofessional and really don't care. Also charging a bride $50-100 just to try-on in stock wedding dresses is wild for this level of a boutique. I have paid fees so that a specific loaner dress could be shipped to a store if they don't have it in stock, and I absolutely have no issue with that. But changing a bride to try on dresses you have already in store is just ridiculous, tacky and not common in the area for this boutique's price point.

I can't speak much to the skill of the consultant because I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and bought that dress. It came in right as the pandemic was beginning and then sat in my closet for 3 years of reschedules and cancellations. When I finally had my first appointment for fittings, it was awful. The owner basically ran the show for the appointment and it was rough. The dress didn't fit and she told me they couldn't take it out because of the type of fabric. If this was the case, why didn't the original consultant have me size up?! Mind you, I had not gained any weight and was the same size so this was puzzling. I left that appointment feeling super defeated and upset. I tried to get another appointment to retry the dress (because at this point I was ready to buy something else...) and they couldn't get me in. So I waited 2 months feeling awful. My second fitting was so much better. I worked with Kennedy and she was truly like a fairy godmother. She realized that because of my height (I'm only 5'3"), the waist of the dress wasn't hitting in the right spot. A simple fix made the dress fit like a glove. I am so grateful for her care, love and patience on this day! She worked with me for my final fitting and helped erase all of the negative thoughts I had. Overall in the end I loved my dress. It was stunning and fit me perfectly. I would just hope that this helps make things better for other customers in the future.
