Had an issue w/a neighbor's cat trying to fight through the window screen with our indoor cat (Grrrrr....!) and our window screen was, thus, damaged and not usable. Since this was just a one window screen project (THANKFULLY!), there wasn't a need for a mobile repair person (who would, understandably, need to charge more as it would take a lot more of their time), to come to our house, it was hard to find a "walk-in" repair location where I could simply take the screen in to be repaired. Once I posted this job request on Yelp, I was VERY IMPRESSED with how quickly Jim responded and then, after we spoke, I was convinced that they were the people to count on. Fast-forward, I drove to their Costa Mesa location (easy to find!) and Jim greeted me as I came in. He subsequently introduced me to Jill, who helped me out with scheduling this repair for the same day. (THANK YOU, Jill!) Once I picked up the new screen (They instructed me how to properly put it back in to our window; THANK YOU!), I drove home and successfully installed it back in to place. WOW! Despite just having our windows all professionally cleaned a couple of weeks ago, I see the quality/color of this screen vs our existing screens. May have to return w/more screens to replace! I ordered a mirror on 3/23, the cost was about $100.00 paid in full, not unreasonable at all. The problem is they forgot about my order and I had to call 3 times to follow up and try to get my order. Now 4 weeks later on April 19th Im finally done waiting for a call and called to cancel this order. The gal said oh I can get your order by tomorrow! I said no thanks, I've heard that before from you. Next I'm anticipating that I will have to dispute the charge on my credit card to be refunded since they have no follow through at this business. read more

Wish i could say i'm as happy as the other reviewers. I sent my husband in with a small bamboo frame to have the mirror replaced. Thought he could wait for it but they said he had to come back (and we are a good 20 minutes from their shop - NOT convenient). When he did, it was with a bill that was 3 times what I used to pay at Ace Hardware when they used to cut mirror, and IT WAS INSTALLED BACKWARDS IN THE FRAME! For this they charged me a $27 labor fee. (I never asked for them to install it, just wanted the dang mirror!!!) I called the shop and after a little back and forth they agreed to credit my charge card for a portion of the bill. It is now 2 1/2 months later, no credit. To be fair, I called them back hoping they would make good on their promise, but instead they offered that if I took the mirror back AGAIN, they would correct the mistake. Huh? first of all, i already fixed the problem myself, second, I don't have time to make continual trips across town to them, but most important, they did not make good on their promise. (until i mentioned Yelp, then they said they would. I responded: "too late") So, SORRY, but mine was a bad experience that could have turned into a 5 star review for great service if they had remedied the situation as they had promised. read more

I have a corner cabinet which I display some collectibles. I have been trying to get some additional triangular shaped, tempered glass shelves made for it for some time now. Contacted several Glass and Mirror Companies in Orange County and got told, "We don't do that...". Finally, found Harbor All Glass & Mirror, contacted them with some photos and they promptly replied, "Sure no problem." and gave me a quote for four (4) new shelves that was very reasonable. So, I took one existing shelf to them and about ten business days later they contacted me and said the new shelves were ready for pick-up. Picked them up and brought them home. These guys hooked me up! So.. I had a random need for a piece of glass .. I actually needed it for a work project. After calling and establishing that they will take on this small job I stopped in and 15 minutes later I was out of there with my piece of glass for a fair price. When I put my piece of glass to use I realized that it wasnt the right color so I went back in and they cut me another piece that was perfect for my needs and they DID NOT EVEN charge me for the second piece. The friendly people at Harbor All Glass in Costa Mesa are always there for me when I need them! They came promptly when my glass windscreen fence shattered, and even restabilized the posts, as well as replacing the glass, saving me a future repair. When I made an error on a glass measurement, they fixed the shelf corners sot it would fit - at no extra charge. And the one time THEY made a measurement error, they made me a new glass shelf in 10 minutes. If you need specialty glass - an odd color, perhaps - they will call around to get you what you need.
